  I have changed out MULTIPLE components and I still can't figure out what's making all that noise! Almost like the whole thing is vibrating, humming, and whistling all at once. Good grief. Not to mention how the joints whirr and scrape, it's annoying. I guess folks didn't care if it made all that noise in the middle of a firefight but this is excessive. Recorded between 50 and 70 decibels. And when it tries to lift something VERY heavy? Around 90-- That's lawnmower loud. 06/2032
• Technician 1432D Note// Non-Amphibious?:
  I thought all these Cyborgs were capable of amphibious operations but the Guardian series apparently can't swim, no matter how many swimming programs we include. They can't even walk along the bottom! There's a package that was under development to make them you know, not emergency shut down whenever they exceed a twelve foot depth. I'll figure something out. At least it can stand the rain and not blow up. Then again, this one's sturdier than the newer models but I still wouldn't take it diving anytime soon. 01/2032

  It's an old Cyborg, another country's trash, AND something people literally dubbed the "Kill-Bot"? We're doing our best to make this thing work but it's old. Basically stapling and gluing on new tech onto a rusted blender. I keep getting error codes and breaking it the more I go along. On top of that the uh, "Biological components" are nothing more than a few bones and the Cyborg's memories. Oh man. May as well call it a robot with skeletal decoration! The rest of you should pull the black box recording of the Cambridge Bay Massacre. See what this thing did! And they said it was melted down after that! Why are we doing this again? • Eldritch Magic: Acting as an agent for the Babylonian god Sirsir, Marcus is capable of using magic of any kind so long as he learns the spell, the name, and the purpose of the spell. He's only limited to his willpower and his own knowledge
• Persuasion: Upon offering patronage to Sirsir, Marcus was granted the gift of 'The Voice'. Using this power, Marcus directly channels the will of Sirsir through him and can command people to do as he pleases. However, this ability only works if Marcus can speak and only if his target(s) can hear him and understand him.
• Unholy Vessel: In times of great need, Marcus can become the avatar of Sirsir and take his form for a very brief period. However, doing this saps all of Marcus's will and leaves him in a coma like state for several days

w e a k n e s s As stated before, Marcus is limited by his willpower. The more powerful the spell, the more will is required. Marcus is also half mad due to Sirsir's influence, sometimes losing control and allowing Sirsir to fully control him or being controlled by Sirsir fully by force. In order to keep his powers, Marcus also must make blood sacrifices every New Moon to feed the ancient god or it will drain the life out of him.

Marcus wasn't born with any sort of magic ability, rather he was like any man who led an unremarkable life. He was once a college history professor, married to a beautiful wife, father to a beautiful daughter. His life changed when his little girl was diagnosed with Stage 3 Leukemia. Marcus watched as his daughter began to wither away, science failing her at every turn. Desperate, Marcus sought a more mystical method of healing her. He began to study magic and the occult, soon learning the ritual to summon a Babylonian god of magic by the name of Sirsir.

The deal was simple, Marcus became the human agent of Sirsir and gained powerful magic abilities to save his daughter in exchange for a soul of Sirsir's choosing at a time it deemed acceptable. With his power, his daughter grew healthy and strong. Then Sirsir named the soul, Marcus's wife. When Marcus refused Sirsir transformed his daughter into an eldritch monster that tore his wife apart. Sirsir promised Marcus that his daughter would be returned to him unharmed and normal if Marcus served loyally and sacrificed a human being every New Moon....

Most would say the world ended when Outsiders invaded in 2035. Humanity tried to stand against this enemy. Did it's best to hold them back. Diplomacy failed first, military might failed after. Earth's mightiest heroes were all that could fight the invasion. In the end, even Earth's superheroes couldn't stop them. Earth formerly surrendered on April 25th, 2037.

The Outsiders began to occupy the planet, mining what resources that could be mined. Stone, precious metals, wood, water. Human kind had been beaten into submission as Earth began dying slowly. Soon, Earth had only one hope left to look to. Though it's government, it's military, and it's mightiest heroes couldn't stop them, there was only one power left that stood a chance at stopping the Outsiders....it's most powerful villains.

While the Earth's heroes fought the invaders, it's villains watched and waited for the moment to strike. Looking for a weakness as the most brilliant studied and the most capable undermined the invaders at every turn. Only monsters can kill monsters, in this time of desperation humanity can only look to the worst of the worst.

Setting

Scotland Penal Colony
The Former United Kingdom

After the Outsiders subjugated the Earth, Scotland was formed into a massive prison colony. Massive walls surround the country, machines patrol the borders, watching for any escape attempts. Many of Earth's villains were sent here, some becoming lords of their own slums, others hiding in the shadows and looking for means of escape
