Bio

Hi all! It's Ana back from the void. I had some pretty intense months IRL, but the witch is back and ready to brew up a wonderful little story haha~ Here are my terms for OnexOne, dearlings~ Look it over and let's see if our tastes can create a lovely RP feast for you and me!

Length:

Medium causal to low advanced. I am a bit carnivorous and need a good bit of meat in the posts I get from my partners. Don't let me go hungry, huhuhu~
Like wise, I shall try to feed you with, at the very least posts of two and a half paragraphs in length or more. It's all about give and take, right~?
Mature Topics:

I can do smut and cursing, but let's try to keep it classy? I have a little brother on this site and I'd be mortified for him to find anything that isn't at least trying to be creative in word choice. Plus there are so many ways to keep things interesting and detailed without being crass or vulgar.

And while we are on the topic, I also feel that my mature RPs should be done with 18 and older roleplayers. Same goes with characters: 18 and older, preferably in the 20s, or nothing more than love fluff. You get Angel Food cake, you hear? Only 18 and up get to have Devil's Food.

And Romance doesn't have to be sappy. It can be that they hate each other in the beginning, but have attraction. Maybe they stay enemies. Maybe they unite but still don't trust one another. And maybe she is a hellion and he is cool calm and collected. Or maybe they both have bad tempers. There are so many possibilities! Romance doesn't always mean sappy fluff, but can include dark and more twisted passion. Huhuhu~ That's why there is a 'mature 18+ rating' on the door. ;P
Historical Topics:

Many, if not all, of my RPs involve some sort of historical quality. While I am no history buff, I like things to be believable. Call me nit picky and strict, but I don't like my Vikings calling my Heroine "babe" or "chick". It's odd and jars me right out of the RP.
Have Courage, Dearlings:

I won't bite you. :P I know I may seem strict on what I want, but this is just so we can both get what we want out of RP. If it isn't working, let's not be afraid to say so. Nothing is more painful than trying to feign interest in something you just are not interested in. Let's agree to talk to each other. Compromise and communication can solve many things. I am always open to suggestions once we agree on something to start with. OOC chat threads were made just for these kinds of things. So let's be friendly, yea? :3
One Final Thing:

I am looking to play the female character. I am looking for MY female character to be paired with a male character. I only clarify this because there have been misunderstandings in the past and it got reeeeeal awkward.

And so there is no confusion, I feel I must state it plainly somewhere in my current request: I would like to be the main female character. Thank you very much~ ;3

Ella rocked back and forth steadily as she read by the warm fire in the hearth. A year. A since she had run from that awful excuse of a prince and hidden herself in the forest. Her father's cabin was small but held everything she had needed to learn about how to live alone in the woods. The basement below was stocked well, something throughout the summer and fall Ella had continued to stock, and there was more than enough firewood to keep the small house warm. Her delicate hands had bled but were now calloused enough to keep up with her work. And a the scruffy practically wild cat that had lived in the woods, was now her constant companion in the lonely winter nights.

Looking up from her book, the small clock on her mantel chimed six. Six and it was already so dark out? A blizzard really much of set in over the course of the short day. Getting to her feet, the wild cat looked up, but quickly settled himself when he realized there was nothing to be alarmed about. Giving a small laugh, Ella went to the kitchen area and started to prepare the vegetables and meat for her dinner. A nice stew sounded good. The bones she had kept boil all day had surely made a nice broth by now. Humming to down out the moaning wind, the young woman continued her work without any notice of the dark nearly frozen figure trudging his way towards her cottage.

Kaori Tatsumia

@Knight of Doom

Kaori grinned warmly as she saw a smile grow on the blonde woman's face. She had even earned a giggle. Ahn~ What a cutie, she thought to herself as she tilted her head to the side with a grin. Something in her just couldn't resist seeing adorable people, no matter the age, smile and laugh. Her cheesy lines had really been worth it when reward with such a beautiful person's musical laugh.

Watching the blonde lady nip on her lower lip, Kaori waited patiently with a smile. It really was no trouble to wait. There was no one else in the store at the moment, so she had plenty of time to think. But the young red haired girl perked up in delight when the pretty lady decided to let her help.

"A Christmas present for a gardener!" she pressed her hands together in excitement, "We have lots of things for tending gardens! Flower garden, veggie gardens, herb gardens~" She walked around the to join the blonde woman on the other side of the counter, motioning for her to follow. "Here, towards the back!" she hummed, "Decorations, how to books, tools, gloves, aprons, even sun hats!" Kaori giggled softly, "The ones with humming birds on the ribbon are my favorite."
"Do you know what kinds of plants your friend tends to?" the young girl asked, "If you do it may help you narrow down some of your choices!" Looking over at the taller woman, she grinned warmly and waited patiently. Her first customer and she was helping them with holiday shopping! Getting gifts for others was always a bit different from shopping for oneself. To get something for someone else was always a nice surprise for the other person. That moment when they opened their gift and grinned brightly at their gift... The best part was when they'd look up with that warm sunflower smile and say 'Thank you very much! I love it!' Kaori always liked that part the best. Those smiles were always so warm and made getting though the bustling cold crowds all worth it.

Ah, she'd have to start thinking about what she was going to get her parents for Christmas. Perhaps she could look online tonight and cross reference all of the savings she had at the moment. Oh, and maybe her first pay check from this job would come in one time for her to get her parents something really really nice. Her mom had been saying her feet were killing her lately. Maybe one of those fancy foot massaging hot bath things. And her father's back had been aching a lot more than usual. Oh, one of those nice fuzzy heating blankets might help with that! Ah, now she was getting really excited. Beaming up at the blonde woman, Kaori waited eagerly to her what she had to say.
@Cirrus XD That's what happens when you're the main character of an otome game and anime! XD Oh but that was a great way of putting it! XD XD XD

"Tribute?" Aibhilin scoffed, keeping her voice low and crossing her arms over her chest, "With what gold then?" Her father put up a hand and she grit her teeth. He glared at her from over his shoulder, and she tipped her head down in apology. It was just that something like that was so... ridiculously straight out of the children's tales she couldn't of stopped herself. She wanted to give the young Viking warrior a sarcastic and biting remark, but her foolish anger could lead to men dying. With a sigh, she lifted her stormy green eyes back up to the young leader of the would-be raiders. He had to be their leader. He spoke for them.

Chieftain MacConnich rubbed his graying beard, looking the Vikings over. His face, though still stoic and rather grim, turned a bit more thoughtful. Finally he spoke. "My daughter speaks the truth, though out o' turn," his gravelly voice held a bit of a lighter tone in it that before. As if looking the sea wolves over had given him a new thought as to how to deal with the situation. "We have very little gold, and what little we do have is spend on the up keep of our flocks and fields," Aibhilin's father stated slowly, "Hm... A difficult position ye have us in, indeed."

Something in her father's stance changed and Aibhilin looked at the old Scottsman with some amount of shock on her face. Whatever he was about to do, she seemed to realize it and at the same time, turned her head in disbelief. "Why not stay a while as our guests instead, Sea Lords?" her father's voice now had warmth in it, actual welcome compared to that of his previous greeting, "We may no' be able to give ye gold, but we can restock yer ship, lend hand in repairs and give ye a bed ta sleep in." The Chieftain grinned then and put out his hand. "What say ye? It'll be more comfortable ta rest fer a several days before ye set back out on yer conquests, aye?"

Aibhilin couldn't believe it. They had come here to threaten and plunder, and her father was welcoming them as in as if they were kin. Had the sun gone to his head? But when she looked back at their wall of highlanders, she realized why. Every single man that sat up on their horse was kin. Her father had promised to protect each one of them and their families. He had made an oath to make the wisest decisions to keep them all alive.

These were not nameless soldiers, but neighbors, brothers, fathers, sons... It was better that they welcome the band of sea wolves in, than shed blood while there were still other options to explore. Nothing was ever as simple as fight or die to her father. He was a smart man, he'd most likely keep the laird of the fair-haired foreign warriors close to him, just in case the warrior sailors got too antsy and thirsty for blood. Which meant the blonde warrior she had been glaring at would be sleeping in their guest corridors. She didn't like this one bit.
We're going to need more male characters XD We're sellin like hotcakes 'round here.
