EDIT:
Interesting is one way to describe my faction.
Believe it or not they are actually going to represent the "straight man" in this mad-mad galaxy.
Their advanced tech is also sufficiently tempered by their peculiar culture and lack of war experience.

Our nations seem pretty similar, though in general I think yours is a bit higher tech.
Planets are unfortunately, vulnerable targets, while planetary destroying weapons like the Death Star are probably impractical, a star faring civilization could probably create planetary extinction level events depressingly easily, now if the defender is a star faring civilization they might be able to survive the wasteland but it would surely pay a heavy economic toll.

This makes interplanetary warfare scary, with more Cold War style intrigue than war
I might leave as well. I agree with Ophidian about people saying that they are going for the story; but the majority don't keep their word. And I also feel like there's going to be some tension between someone in the near future that would kill the roleplay. I don't want anyone to have a ship that's the size of Cuba, then ensured everyone that they weren't in this roleplay 'to win it'.

If you weren't in to win it, then why have a ship bigger than Cuba? It doesn't make sense.

Is size necessarily an advantage? I imagine a nuke or a projectile moving at relativistic speed would be capable of doing serious damage
BTW, how large are the warships of people?
Mine would be between 200-800m with Vega-class being around 675m.
Although I plan to have my ships being relatively small compared to what everyone else has.

I'm thinking similar sizes 150-1000m on average, but with some larger ships that probably fill a more logistical role.

@Lucidnonsense

do they though

do they really make a difference

they can be summed up with "don't be a dick"

Depends on how literally and to what extent the laws are to be obeyed. And the intelligence of the machine in question, and information given to the machine

who cares

it's a roleplaying game

just roleplay dude

You have to understand your character in order to play it, if the laws of robotics are Fundemental I should have a good grasp of how they are defined and how they are applied as these things make a huge difference
Going for one point as well
The aristocrats that didnt GTFO and hide in cyberspace with the Network :p
Guess I'll have to apply fascist space necromancers to counter

Why do the necromancers gotta be the bad guys? why not like....Doctors who dont take "your dead" for an answer, going around the universe and spitting in the face of death "NO UNIVERSE! FUCK YOU ENTROPY! everyone get some immortality.
