Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Allllright, we doing this. Roll me a stealth first to see if you can get a sneak attack, followed by an initiative. That being said, the biggest goblin is also the furthest away from you at about 50 feet. Unless you plan to hurl your new harpoon at him, you can’t reach him in one move action and attack. You’re harpoon btw is basically a javelin but with a higher Damage die, so I’m pretty sure your martial arts stuff still applies to it.
Heeding her warning Pylia preemptively had her dagger out and moved forward. Things seemed quiet enough but soon they’d stumble upon the sight where they heard the noise. Pulling you aside, Pylia hide behind a bush as you two watched what was happening.

It appeared to be a small cart being pulled by two donkeys, however a tree had fallen and struck one of the Donkey’s while at the same time, caused one of the wagon wheels to break. Getting out of the cart was a strange squat looking fellow, with bright red hair and a large bushy bread. You might’ve never seen someone like this before, but it was almost unmistakable. This man was a dwarf. In the cart was another dwarf, but with short hair blond hair and no beard, who seemed to just be sitting.

The dwarf grumbled a bit as he went to look around but soon there was a piercing screech that echoed through the woods. You could see the dwarves man take out a large crossbow from his cart, loading an arrow as he watched carefully. And from the forest, at least seven goblins jumped out, each armed with a wicked looking curved sword. One of the goblins looked bigger than the others, with a dark complexion and a wicked spike shield.

“Goblins!” Pylia cursed quietly. “We need to help that dwarf!”
As you walk through the forest you think you hear something fall. A tree perhaps, up ahead.
Before you post, Perception check please.
And so they set off. The sea breeze trail was delightfully peaceful, with not many dangers unless you consider rabbits and the occasional fox threatening. Even the goblins who were said to exist here were not immediately present, though occasionally you’d run across a stone or tree with strange markings on it. “Goblin Markings,” Pylia would explain. “Despite how crude and barbaric they are, they have some semblance of intelligence and understanding. These marks show which tribe lives in this area. Though beyond that, I don’t know what the symbol means.”

But soon you’d come across the end of the sea breeze trail to a forest. It’s been about thirty minutes of walking and despite that, the wooden towers of the military camp don’t seem to be any closer. “Through this forest is the camp. Stay on your toes. While the path should be mostly clear, we will certainly be going through goblin territory. With any luck there should be patrols keeping the road safe but if not well...” Pylia strapped her shield on and put a hand on her dagger. “Well let’s go.”
The shopping would be quick and easy. With Yerro, he offered a few choices of pickled or salted vegetables that could easily be made into a stir fry with the fish oil he had in stock. He also had some salted beast steak for 5 gold that will last you a week. The key to keeping animals away from your food is spices; most beast will smell things like peppers and such and assume it’s poisonous, while for the human palate it’ll just be a tangy taste. Though she should do well to keep everything sealed from insects. In total, you can buy enough raw ingredients to cook with for a week for a total of 10 GP.

Iona’s shop had plenty to offer, and bedrolls would be easy enough. Utilizing fabrics designed by Aestella and her weavers, this bedroll was light but warm, good for cold nights in the road. That would simply cost 1 gold coin. They also offered a tent as well. It was a small style traveling tent, but enough to fit two people. It looked a bit like the sort of camping tents you’d find in your world, however it was notably heavier, at least twenty pounds as it utilizes weighty wooden poles instead of the lighter metals and plastics. If you could afford to carry that weight, it was only 2 GP.

Regardless, when your shopping was done you two would head out. There was plenty of daylight left, with all its splendor, and all its dangers as well.
Pylia looked surprised. "Is that so? Well, that was easier than I thought. I guess now we just need to reach Gransys." Blowing out the candle Pylia put a small bundle of herbs into the vials, shaking them lightly before putting them into her pocket. "Just need to let the herbs steep for half an hour and they should be ready for use whenever." Pylia put away her kit quickly and seemed ready. She had all of her gear and a bit more, including a crossbow and a quiver of arrows. "Then we should hurry. Like it or not, the Duke would have whatever we need should this dragon truly return. With any luck they already know and are making preparations. With this amulet and what we know, they may offer us some form of aid against the beast. Hopefully..."

If there was no other preparations, you and Pylia would be ready to leave. Though you could see the wooden towers in the distance, it still felt like it was going to be quite a walk. But there was plenty of daylight for you. By Pylia's estimates, you should be able to reach the outpost by noon at the latest. She also handed you six goodberries, similar to the ones you had before, which have long since dried up into tasteless raisins. "Eat one if you need a little pick-me-up. In any case... Ready to go?"
Leaving the Chief’s Home, it was well into the morning now. People going about their busy lives as if it was just another day in the world for them. The threat of the dragon from your dreams did not weigh on their minds as much as it weighed on yours.

By the time you return to Pylia, she seemed to be working on those potions in your room. She had a small setup involving the herbs, a small candle-lit stove, and other tools needed to make medication. The smell was the most noticeable. It smelled of the old times folk remedies of your world, except much stronger. How she was allowed to make these potions in the inn was a mystery considering you could smell it from outside.

“Ah, Sylvia, you’re back. Just putting the finishing touches on these potions. Only enough for two, but they’ll go a long way. With a few good berries we should be set for healing during our travels.”
“I would imagine that when you do show the duke they will keep the amulet, though they may give you something to return to me as well. As long as you do not sell it to a shady merchant for a forgery or some such, they will know that you are honestly speaking for me. Until then keep it safe and hidden. It is valuable not just because it is gold, but because it serves as a favor from the duke. An amulet like this can request anything from the duke, from a criminal pardon to a vast amount of wealth. The fact that I use it now for his protection speaks highly about the dangers this dragon possess.”

Mkay. Theatre of the mind is always simpler, but in situations like this a clear battlemap does indeed have a vast importance for life-and-death matters. Going to need to kill these guys extra quick, assuming they have like 50HP a pop. Cyanwrath likely has more.
