Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Arduo put some thought into it before nodding. “Aye, I suppose that will be needed as well. There is an old Well in town that we have not used since it dried up. Perhaps if we get a few of the men to go inside and make some space, it can serve as a shelter for the townsfolk if the dragon comes.” Arduo went to grab some papers and ink wells to draw up a plan. When he returned he sat back down with you. “I can only hope we can complete the shelter before it is too late. But don’t worry about that. The men of this village are hard workers. And... Thank you again. Twas one thing for you to rid us of a thief problem. But to warn us if the dragon as well, you’ve saved more lives than soldiers and swords could. For that, I cannot thank you enough.”
@Hekazu

I’m not sure of the exact dimensions of our battlefield, but assuming that Parum was not in the pitch melee with orchid and the others, would Parum even be close enough for the enemy to reach her and attack? At the end of Ryo’s Post he did mention she moves further away, which granted us only like 20 feet, but if she was roughly 10-15 feet away that’s still quite a bits away from the others.
@SleepingSilence

Cool, thanks for the heads up. At the pace we’re going we _might_ have to auto you through some stuff. We’ll see.
@Hekazu

Being able to Shove/Grapple as an AoP provides some Tactical variance that's not just "hit him" and such. I certainly don't mind if the enemy tries to use it against me, though to be fair Orchid would have a very good chance of succeeding anyways. But yeah, I'll just do a normal AoP for now.

Reckless Attack = 18/8
Raging Machete = 13
Hmm, interesting. Would it be possible to use a Shove action as me AoP? I know it's normally a "Special melee attack" you can use when you take an "Attack Action", but I figured if I could knock him down, that would at least keep these mooks away from the others. Plus give Brannor advantage if he goes after the guy I know down.
The chief’s face turned very solemn. He was quiet for a good few minutes as he thought, taking a few sips of tea. “If i were a younger man, I would not have believed you. The tales of dragons are things of fantasy, tales to tel children. But... When I was a young minnow, I had seen a dragon with my own eyes. I saw him being a storm which destroyed Gransys’s navy, which even to this day had never fully recovered.” Sighing Arduo stood up and began to pace around the room.

“I thank you for telling me this, Sylvia. This is most troubling news. If the dragon has truly returned then... Then please, I have a request for you.” The Chief left the room for a moment before returning, carrying a gold ornate medallion. It had a marvelous red gemstone at the center. “Many years ago, I met with Duke Erod and we came to an agreement. For my village, Cassari, to serve under the duke and his kingdom in exchange for his army’s protection. Because we have been at peace for so long we never truly needed his soldiers here, only to patrol the roads so traders can come. But their presence prevents bandits or monsters from trying and attack us. But this amulet is the symbol of our agreement. With this you should be allowed an audience with the duke as my messenger, and please, tell him about the dragon and to send his warriors to protect us.”

Sighing the chief say back down to finish his tea. “It shames me to say this, but Cassari is not a village of warriors. Our sailors will brave any storm and can cross the entire ocean, but fighting men or monsters, that is not our way. We’ve had champions before, great heroes, but we have always been a peaceful village protected by our walls and good fortune. But those things will not be enough if the dragon comes here. He could take out village in an hour alone, not to mention what his minions could do. To that end I must call upon the treaties I’ve made and ask the duke for help. And to do that, I need your assistance once more.”
"Oh, leaving so soon? Suppose that's expected, but just know that you'll always have a home here!" Upon asking to speak in private the chief seemed concerned but nods. "Of course. Come, we can speak at my home. My daughter should be the only one there." The chief would lead you up to one of the higher points of the village to the chief's home. Aside from being built into the cliff like many of the other homes, it didn't seem very fancy. The only indicator that it was even the chief's home was the fancy wreath on the door. Inside was a tall, dark-skined, long-haired woman who was cleaning up.

"Oh! Father, I was not expecting you to be back so soon. Who is this?"

"This young lady is the one who helped Ricks and the others with their thief problem a few days ago. This is my daughter, Quleena. Do you mind setting up the main room for me? I must speak in private with our friend here."

Quleena bowed towards you and nods towards the chief. "Of course. Just give me a minute." Sure enough she has the room prepared for you and the chief. There was a large but low table near one end of the room, with cushions on the ground to provide comfort. The table and cushions themselves stood on top of a large ornate rug, as oppose to the bare stone beneath. Some tea had been set out for the both of you as Quleena steps out and lets you two speak in private. "Now then, I can tell from the look in your eye that what you have to tell me is very important, not just about you but about Cassari as well. What is it?"
As you leave the shop, more and more people are waking up to start their day. You can see most of them head towards the docks and the beach to do what you would assume to be fishing. The smell of various soups and breakfasts waft through the air. Among the crowd you’d find chief Arduo advising some fishermen. After giving them his counsel he notices you and nods. “Sylvia. Up bright and early I see. Is there something I can help you with?”
As much as I love illusions, it's questionable if you can stack so many debilitation all at once from a purely balance stand point. I can accept creating an illusion poison cloud effect that would provide heavy obscuring, since that's a basic enough illusion. Poisoning Cyanwrath with it is also possible since Phantasmal force can cause simulated damage like that. But also filling the air with a noxious scent and amplifying the sound of your viol to deafening levels is much more questionable.

At the very, very least, it could do everything except deafness. Since your Phantasmal Force can create "phantasmal object, creature, or other visible phenomenon" and "includes sound, temperature, and other stimuli,", it can be reasonable for a poisonous cloud to obscure Cyanwrath's visibility to effectively make him blind (Not not specifically blind as the condition, meaning no one gets advantage to attack him but he would have disadvantage to attack anyone he can't see) and for the cloud to cause some sort of sickening poisonous smell, but unless the cloud can also make a really loud noise on it's own it can't deafen him.

If I may make a suggestion, if you still want to inflict some combination of blindness/deafness, try emulating a Hunger of Hadar spell instead. It'll still do the same thing such as block his sight, and then you could say that all of those noises are just amped up to 11.
It took a few hours and it certainly wasn't easy, but eventually everyone would learn how to summon their hidden power. At its very core, it was a glimpse of the "magic" of this Pokemon world, for lack of a better term. As Seraph explains it, "For many pokemon who can call forth different elements that they aren't naturally attuned to, being able to empty their thoughts until they can focus on the raw element they need is how a Pokemon like charizard can use dragon claw, even if charizards aren't dragon type. After all, such attacks aren't simply swiping your talons at the enemy and just hoping maybe they won't resist it. You need to be able to empty, focus, and then channel those raw elemental powers through your attacks. This is obviously very difficult which is why most Pokemon would never learn more than maybe three or four attacks like that."

At this point Honey came out to meet everyone out back wearing a large backpack. ”Hey everyone! If you’re done training, we should head out soon. I’ve been looking at the clouds and I think the rain will lighten up soon, so that’ll be a good time to go before the gale hits us hard. I also got some water for everyone, clean and refreshing!” Honey began passing around a covered bowl containing clean boiled water for everyone to drink. ”If there’s anything else you need to do, please hurry. I’ll be waiting by the south side over there.” Honey pointed towards the southern forest, where the cave was before Wendy brought them to the farm house. After everyone had their fill of water, Honey would leave and wait for them. Seraph herself went back inside to dry off and stay on watch. Merc had left to salvage what he can from his fields while Munchi was also on watch, albeit standing outside of the farmhouse armed with his rock.
