Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

You close your eyes for a few seconds. Initially when you open them, you simply see Buddy and Pylia leaving, but soon you felt a tickle on your nose. A few blinks later and you’ll notice Dinah licking your face with her bristly cat tongue. Her feelers were picking your ear and eyelids, a reminder of your cat’s stranger features. Regardless it seems like you’ve awoken. You could hear Shortfang snoring above your head, and the fire place was dimming. Only a single log was left giving a notable flame, and you’d guess in an hour or so it’ll go out.

It’ll take a few minutes before Buddy and Pylia would arrive, but they’ll otherwise have no trouble doing so. By the time they do, it was well into nighttime. Things were quietening down all around, even the inn’s bar and tavern were starting to send its patrons back home. Buddy stood by the door as he often did as Pylia settled her items on the table and gathered her thoughts. “I suppose... Firstly, we should tell Buddy about... About you, Sylvia. Or I can, if you wish.”
Buddy nods. He looks to Pylia as he takes out his notepad, writing a message for Pylia. As she withdrew her hand Buddy revealed his message to her. "She is here." Then he motioned in your direction, allowing Pylia to slowly realize what he meant. She was looking at you with a mixture of frighten confusion. "I... I see. I had thought... This ghost form of hers would only appear near her body, not near you..." Pylia looked back at Buddy and gulped. "Then... She heard everything I said, yes?" Buddy nods. Pylia sighs sadly. She rubbed her eyes as she turned away. "I guess I just can't keep any secrets away from you, Sylvia. I'm sorry. I..." Pylia started choking up. She tried to say something but couldn't muster the words. "I'm sorry... Keeping secrets from you again... I just wanted... I didn't want you to see me like this. I'm trying to clean the mess I made in my past so... And I know you've been through a lot today and...." Taking a deep breath and just breathing for a few more minutes, Pylia tried her best to collect herself.

After drinking a bit of water and just standing against a wall in silence Pylia continued speaking. "I'll head back to the Silver Stag. I... There's still a lot of things I need to do around town. Personal... Personal demons I need to deal with. And... And I know there's still... That thing... We need to talk to the others about too. I guess... This would be easier to do if I could hear you." Buddy looked over to you, motioning in the general direction of the Silver Stag. "You may be able to awaken yourself and come here on your own. Or we can meet you at the Silver Stag as well. How shall we proceed?"
As Pylia approached, everyone would hear hoarse whispers. "... Alone, you left me alone! I cried and cried until I was bone DRY! YOU LEFT ME ALONE!" Kath's eyes turned black as her mouth widen, as if it was about to swallow Pylia whole. Buddy stepped forward with his fist charged with magic energies but Pylia stopped him with one hand, holding out a vial to Kath. "I'm here Kath. I brought the medicine for you. Sweeten with lime, just the way you like it. Please Kath... Drink your medicine." Kath roared, screaming at Pylia. "This is not working!" Buddy said with fear, but Kath did not attack. She just kept screaming at Pylia, who continued to step forward, uncorking the medicine and raising it to Kath's roaring mouth. She poured the medicine into the spirit's mouth, and instead of the liquid simply falling to the ground, it went inside of the ghost. Kath's screams started to fade as the ghost looked more and more tired. But as she did, her face also grew fuller. Her eyes returned to normal and her hair changed from stringy and thin back to blond. Soon the ghost turned back into a girl, and once she did she vanished.

Buddy looked around with his magic eyes, then lowered his fists. "The spirit is gone." Meanwhile, Pylia just looked at the floor. Where the ghost once stood, now there was a small handkerchief. On it was the name Katherine. Picking it up Pylia looked to Buddy. "Sorry for bringing you into this Buddy. But I'm glad you came. If I went in alone, I don't think... I don't think I'd have the nerve to stand up to Katherine. She was a friend of mines when I was younger. Her parents owned this shop when we were kids. Sold all sorts of magical knicknacks, and she'd share them with me and some of the other orphan girls. But one day she caught a plague that was spreading through the city. We'd visit and try and comfort her but... One day her parents said she was gone. We didn't even get to say goodbye. By the time the plague was gone, her family started growing sick too. Dying one-by-one... I always had a feeling Kath was still here. I could hear her cries every time I walked by." Sighing sadly, Pylia looked to Buddy, holding out her hand.

"Buddy, I need you to promise not to tell Sylvia about this. I'm sure she'll want to know where you went, but please, I don't want her involved in... In my past. It's just... A lot of... A lot of messes I've put off for too long. Dealing with Kath was easy, but I know there are others in my past who aren't going to be so forgiving. And if they knew how much I cared for Sylvia they'd... They'd go after her too. I want to keep her safe Buddy. I know you do too. So please... Promise me that you'll keep this a secret from her, okay?" Pylia continued to extend her hand towards Buddy. He didn't make a move. "I'm... Not sure what to do. She does not know that you are here. I do not wish to give Pylia a false promise."
On your side of the coast, it's always said the closer to the "center" you get, the less likely you'll ever make it back. Mana Storms, sea monsters, ghost ships, and pirates tend to make that area particularly risky. There's word that the center of the ocean has an isle untouched by any civilization for years, but most take these as simply tales for the foolish, since most seasoned sailors assure that the only thing around there are sunken boats. Which itself could be quite a bounty if you know how to get to them.
Actually now that you mentioned it, I forgot to write something else in my post for Mamoru’s copy too. I’ll add it in later.
With their preparations made, Mamoru and Gromgard would leave the Chateau and follow the goblin's trail. They weren't trying very hard to move stealthily, to the point that Mamoru didn't really need to bother using any of her searching skills and simply followed the trail the goblins made. If anything as they walked down the mountain, Mamoru scanned the deepest of the earth for any notable mineral ores. Even something as simple as nickle or salt could be used for the Chateau now that they're no longer connected by their usual supply lines. Mamoru was delighted to notice a fairly large deposit of corundum not too deep into the mountain, and she was noticing faint traces of Orichalcum slightly beyond that. If she could spend some more time around the mountain base, she could ascertain what mineral resources this mountain contained and how long it'll take before they could excavate it. Perhaps if Ashara and and Kath's trip to the village proved fruitful, they could hire the villagers to operate the mines as a show of good faith. Give them some work, pay them well, and foster a professional relationship with them.

It wasn't long before Mamoru and Gromgard found the goblins, who were running away from some sort of threat. Some strange but lightly armed and armored figures arrived and threatened them. "Ah, you must be cultists. Surely only a fanatic would look upon my fellow here and believe that six alone would be enough to defeat him, let alone both of us." Mamoru didn't bother to defend herself as Gromgard and his goblins would quickly swarm the six strange assailants. With the goblins safely back with them, Mamoru offered Shill a potion for his wound. It would be a bit excessive considering that the potion alone could heal over four times the goblin's max health, but this was the weakest potion Mamoru could have on short notice. Speaking of notice, Mamoru did not miss the long figure arrive, only to turn back and flee. Perhaps he was a smart one, or more likely he left to gather the rest of the cult here. Mamoru simply smiled. "Do what you wish with these rabble. I shall chase down the runner, perhaps bring him in for questioning."

Mamoru would suddenly vanished, using her Flash Step ability to get around the crowd and immediately began to pursue the lone figure. He was close enough that Mamoru used a single Speed Strike to reach him, but made sure only to aim for his lower back, wanting to disable him and not kill him. Or at the very least if she does end up killing him, due to the sheer speed and force of the kick she would deliver, he would still be whole so she can quickly revive and interrogate him. Had these people just been normal hunters who might've mistaken the goblins as common mooks, Mamoru might be more inclined to show mercy. But the words of the larger brute showed that these people are out for blood, and so Mamoru would hold not an ounce of pity for them once she can get her hands on them.
Buddy glanced over at you sensing the fear in your voice. He did a quick scan of the room, his eyes glowing a faint white as he too looked towards the ghost with a notably tighten grip in his fist, as if ready to strike. "You are correct. I sense an undead presence. A ghost. I will bring Pylia away from here." Swiftly Buddy went to Pylia, grasping her shoulder and trying to pull her out from the room. This surprised Pylia. "Huh? What is it Buddy?" The ghost began to float towards Pylia which got Buddy to move into position ready to defend her. Seeing this, Pylia began to understand what was happening. "H-Hold on Buddy! I... Please let me handle this." Pylia put her hand on Buddy who was hesitant. "I do not think this is a good idea. Sylvia, please help me destroy this ghost before it harms Pylia." Buddy still had his fists up ready to fight, but Pylia didn't even reach for her holy symbol. "Kath, are you here? Can you hear me?" From your end, you could see the ghost react to the name Kath. She lifted her face to reveal a flash of a young girl, blond hair, innocent green eyes, before it transformed into a skeletal, emancipated face with a snarl plastered on her crooked lips. She seemed to be growling at Pylia.
Sorry for a lack of posts, holiday season is kicking my butt.
@Rockin Strings

No rush. Took me forever to get a post.

Mamoru continued to enamour herself in the fluff until Ashara removed herself from Mamoru. She grasped at the empty air still pretending as if it was still there, but then slumping forward in slight disappointment. “Still, you are allowed to at least see the village and what we may be up against. For all we know, this world may be far more powerful than us. Such a challenge would be exciting, for surely the treasures would be well worth the dangers.”

That being said Ashara was correct that Mamoru needed to hurry and actually do her job. This was a direct order from the master himself, so unlike Mamoru’s day-to-day duties she cannot shirk it. Mamoru was about to actually get to work when the most loveliest of scents came by. Flan du Rosemary vuu Succulence Ral Thyme Sauerkraut, one of the only NPC’s of servile purposes who actually has skills related to being a maid. Mamoru herself was a maid in name only, as the only thing she cleans up are enemies. When the master chef offered refreshments Mamoru gracefully accepted a glass and snack. “Why thank you, Master Chef Flan. You are as sweet as your delicacies.” Mamoru was eager to flirt further and grab more snacks, but soon Gromgard arrived and reminded Mamoru of her duties. Ashara gave Mamoru a catty comment, to which Mamoru simply replied with a firm squeeze of Ashara’s tail, both as retaliation and so Mamoru could get a handful of her sweet and succulent fluff. Finishing her food, Mamoru curtsied to the goblin general. “Of course General Gromgard. I simply need to order some skeletons to be in watch and we shall leave post haste. I shall meet you at the front gates.”

Mamoru would dismiss herself from the throne room and quickly return to her quarters to organize the skeletons. She first had to repair the hole that was made near the throne room, and then sent a few skeletons out as sentries around the fortress. She made sure that these sentries were wearing tattered clothing, so that if any locals found them they would be mistaken as long-dead travelers and not servants of the Chateau. Afterwards it was just a matter of gathering her equipment, namely changing from her maid uniform to a different one. Her main maid uniform was a dress made by her Creator, one she is loathed to sully with the rigors of combat. She has many other uniforms of a similar design she cares little for since they are mere copies of the original her master personally made for her. Additionally, Mamoru made sure to being a few basic supplies such as healing potions, restorative, and even Phoenix Feathers, a low level revival item in case the goblins somehow died during their short escapade. She doubts that was the case, but one can never be too certain. Once she gathered her items, Mamoru did one last thing: she performed a series of techniques and moves to massively buff her stats, if only for a short while, and then created a clone who had her bolstered stats. The two Mamoru faced one another as the original explained her purpose.

“The Master seems to be uneasy at the new revelation of our world, so you must tend to him however you can. I must fulfill the duties he has given me, but you will ease both our hearts and ensure his safety and well-being.” There wasn’t a real need to explain since the copy of Mamoru had the same motives and personality, but it was good to make it clear to herself what her goals were. The two shook hands and split off, the original going to meet Gromgard at the front gates while the clone went to go find Rodias and tend to him.
