Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Talogan woke up bright and early, as did some of his crew. Since they were on shore and don't expect too much work to be done, some such as Kulee, Hurrik, and Nyx slept in. Derrick and Johnathan were up though and seemed to be eating some sort of fish pie, and on the docks you can already see various sailors and workers going about early morning business. There was even an old woman with a portable oven selling fish pies, which likely explains where Johnathan and Derrick got theirs. Coming down the street looking somewhat haggard was Tayang, Hector, and Oliver. From the scruff on their armor and Oliver holding his arm, it looks like they ran into some trouble. Upon reaching you, Tayang told you what happened.

"Morning captain. As ya told the lads last night, we scouted out for that shipwreck down south. We found the ship wreck sure enough, beached along some jagged rocks below the cliffs. We tried climbing down a bit but well... Footing isn't the most stable there. And that's not the worse of it captain. Me and the lads found a large horde of drowned." Stories of the drowned were common among sailors and pirates: the poor and pitiful folk who die at sea without a proper send off. Basically, zombies, but with an uncanny ability to float and climb aboard ships. "We counted at least twenty of em. Twas a good thing we spotted em before they spotted us, because when they did they all came chasing. One managed to catch Oliver and cut em with a rusty knife." Oliver was getting patched up by Derrick, who had to use his own hot knife to disinfect and clean his wound. "And to make matters worse, there might be a Siren or something there too. Those drowned didn't spot us until we heard some sort of singing from the shipwreck. Didn't see what caused it but I'd bet my wages it controls the drowned."
Darn. Still, Orchid will hold onto her glaive and tell Angus what she will.
The group would leave the castle ward without much fanfare, though people still stared and gawked at them. You could make whispers wondering what your group has been arrested for or why the market district employs such "shady characters", likely referring to you and your group. But once you do leave the castle ward and were back on main street, it seems like the rest of the citizenry didn't really seem too concerned about your group. They were just going about their business as they were before. Once back at the Barracks, you could see that Atisha was still here along with Yorik and Kor, who were watching over the prisoners. Same as before, most of them were the knights and the one woman who was working in cahoots with Erandel. Shor returned to his desk and addressed the party.

"So, a lot has happened today. I imagine that since you were at the Windmill, either Aisha or Yorik gave you permission to get involved, despite my orders otherwise. But considering the circumstances, that's likely for the better. Still I need time to gather up the information we've collected, so for now, I don't have anything to lecture you for. I will ask that you all come tomorrow once I finish getting an idea of what just happened both below and topside. And obviously, keep your nose clean while you're here." Tapping his fingers against the table, Shor sighed and looked tired. He reached underneath his breastplate to take out a flask and take a quick swig. "I know you're all a good lot. My cousin Ferrick is too careful to befriend ruffians and the like who can't keep it clean. But the way things work here is a bit different from where you might've come from, or how you think things ought to work, and not knowing our laws don't protect you if you break them by accident. I say this because I know you all have the best intentions, even though those aren't things you're suppose to do in this city." Shor took another swig and sighed as Aisha brought some paperwork. He looked like a police chief who has to write up something about the cowboy cop's collateral damage report.

"Well, guess I lied about the lecture. But really that's all I got to say right now. Any questions?"
I figured it would be difficult for Angus to resist being shoved if he’s without a weapon and out of range to physically counter Orchid, since she’s only going to attempt the shove once he’s out of her glaive range, not her unarmed strike range.
Aya, I only managed to get a 21. I didn't want to have to do this, but between Angus causing the whole fort coming down on us before we even get our equipment or beating him up a bit right now, I guess I'll have no choice to to try and stop him. If he does move out of my reach, which is 10 ft with my glaive, I'll try and shove Angus to the ground. 25 for the potential shove. And say something along the lines of "Your rage is going to get us all killed. We need to work as a team right now, because everything you do will affect us."
Their interrogation one Wyatt seemed to be going fairly well. He quickly dropped his attitude once Angus cut his throat a little and he gave them important information about their employers. A mage type it seems, using some sort of magic to draw out the truth from others. Orchid remember that some types of Mages could use a spell called Zone of Truth, and she knows the likes of Paladins and Clerics can use it. She doesn’t remember what other types of Mages use that sort of spell. He also mentioned a lizard that helps with the questioning, which Orchid assumes he means a familiar, but Orchid wasn’t too sure how exactly a familiar helps. Intimidation value? And finally something about a rope but Wyatt passed out when he started talking about it. Was the boy fainting?

Listening in on the teifling girl, Celeste, Orchid quickly started not to care about Wyatt’s fate. Though it’s possible this girl may still just be lying to tug their heartstrings, practically speaking it doesn’t truly Chan he the outcome: the group still needed to get out of here. And that’s when Angus executes Wyatt. Orchid didn’t really flitch, but she grumbled when he tried to charge our ahead. ”Barbarians...” She called for her glaive back into her hand as she walked over to Angus and tried to stop him.

”Hold there, Angus. I wanna bust out of here as much as you, but we don’t know enough about our enemy to just go charging out there like we own the place. Let’s go with Najila plan and let her owl get some information about what we’ll be expecting. Knowing is half the battle after all. Once we figure out what we’re up against than we can go with the violence.”

Suppose I ought to work on my post now too.
The trio of girls would continue to debate whether or not they'd want to investigate, but soon they'd hear a roar of gunfire. It was unlike the usual bayonet or even guns as this sounded like one huge cannon tearing through the Lost. And not too far away, the girls would hear more Lost coming. Apparently the noise was drawing them closer and if they don't act, the new lost will likely stumble onto them.

The Lost Soldier, incapable of speech and knowing only rage and hunger, easily fell for Ambrosio's taunt and attacked him, which naturally resulted in his blow being bounced back onto the Lost Soldier. He managed to stay on his feet just long enough for Ambrosio's weapon to pierce the heart of the soldier and causing the creature to return to ash. More Lost were showing up, both Thralls and Soldiers, and at this point it seemed like whatever semblance of order the Lost once had was now thrown away to act as a horde. While this meant less tactical decisions, it was replaced by sheer numbers. But that wouldn't help them very much either. "Alright Yazzy and the other guy, take cover!"

From above, the boy named Tuck appeared. And not alone either: knocking over what was left of an upper floor railing appeared to be a large mounted turret, with Tuck behind the controls. "OPEN FIRE!" The boy roared as his guns fired off hundreds of Ichor loaded bullets, ripping through the Lost below with ease. Even the soldiers with their shields could not withstand the sheer amount of firepower the boy was pumping out. But at the same time, his weakness was obvious: The turret itself did not move fast and lacked any form of protection, as more Lost were appearing on the second floor and rushed Tuck as he was trying to mow down the ones on the bottom floor. Yazzy was working his way up, taking a staircase nearby Ambrosio. "Tuck watch out, they're coming for you!"
Yoh had arrived to the Yawning Portal not too long ago. He had managed to make inside of the city without incident, his strange appearance hardly garnering the attention of the guards or denizens. Then again, Yoh only had to spend a few seconds looking around this very tavern to see that he was not the strangest looking person in the city. Perhaps Waterdeep was just accustomed to odd folks coming in. Quietly the person sat at the bar near some other patrons. He knew it was customary to order a drink, however as Yoh was not thirsty, he simply sat there and watched the people around him. Just as Yoh thought this place was strange, he noticed a familiar face: Jalester Silvermane. Yoh wasn't personally close to the man, however the old gang that Yoh ran with new the man well enough, and by extension Yoh knew him. Immediately Yoh stood up and walked over to the human.

"Jalester. Hello." Yoh sat down near him. Not too far away, a brawl had started, but Yoh didn't care to be involved in that conflict. As far as Yoh was concerned it was just drunks rough housing, nothing serious enough to require his intervention. "It has been some time since we've last met. How are things in the city?"
Orchid will assist in stripping and tying up Wyatt, using his own cloak to hog tie his hands and feet behind his back and leaving him in one of the cells, using her own key to open the door. Though it seemed Angus still had some questions for him so she left the celldoor open for him to answer them, but Orchid doubts there's much left this guy knows. "This scum is too low on the totem pole to know everything we want, mate. Were it up to me I'd use this cloak of his to string em up." As she says this, Orchid tightens the knot on the binds so that it would dig into his wrists. "Let's just finish with him and move on out. Or perhaps if he don't have anything useful to tell us, maybe we'll drag him along as a shield." Orchid says viciously, trying to scare him. While she was certain that the group had him at a position of power, he was still awfully catty with them, which means he may be hiding something. "After all we didn't kill him if his friends starts shooting arrows at us and hit his body."
