And what would I need to roll if I want to tie him up? I'll use a piece of his own clothes since I presume we don't need to change completely into his attire for the sake of a disguise, though if need be Orchid can just start strangling him until he passes out if we've nothing to secure him with.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.
I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.
As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Pylia seemed to snap back to reality when you spoke to her, and she crossed her arms as if she was trying to hide her hands. "I'm fine... It's been a while since I've been here. The temple... Sure did grow a lot since I've last seen it. Like a whole lot... Hard to remember that I've been gone for almost twenty years." Pylia motioned towards one of the buildings. Compared to the others, it looked rather plain. It was a tall four story building with basic red bricks, wooden window panes, and a flat roof. The most notable thing about it was the symbol of the Maker over the front door. "That the orphanage. Doesn't look like much has changed aside from the new windows. Though, I'm not sure if it's even an orphanage anymore." Soon the guards at the door finished speaking with Shor and Dimos was escorted onto the campus. However the rest of the group was not. Shor looked to you all with a frustrated look. "Well, good news is that Dimos will be safe here. But... Well, apparently they're doing something here at the temple, so outsiders can't come in. Just as well, not like we need to take a tour of this place. Let's head back to the barracks and share notes."
It's just a temporary thing in case we get into a fight. Natch, once we're not in a fight no more, you can take it as part of your disguise. Orchid would probably find something usable in the next room, like a chair or something.
Didn't really have much else to add aside from Orchid knocking the guy prone. Now everyone who wants to melee him will have advantage! Also not sure if taking his weapons would also be an action or not. If so, Orchid will focus on knocking the thug prone first.
So long as the thug didn't resist, Orchid would keep her hand pinning the younger man to the wall. She'd also help Azzen strip the guard of his equipment, starting with weapons. She made sure to keep the thug's weapon tucked into her belt for when she'll need it. "Where are the others that was with us? Two caravans. Mines had the caravan leader and a couple of helpers. We had horses and supplies too. And where the hell are we even at?" Just to emphasis that Orchid has no hesitation letting this man be beaten or tortured, as well as to ensure full advantage of reinforcements show up and make this battle complex, while she still had a grip on this man she slammed him into the ground. Not only will this put him in a worse position to try and fight, but also give the others an easier time to strike him down should he try anything funny.
Let's not get too cocky now Rush, I'm all up for a jail break but I'm not exactly equipped to go Iron Man Dragonborn through Helgen Keep. Though yes having a weapon, ideally my weapon, would be nice.
You do you man, it's just we kind of have a situation on our hands right now and investigating the mechanical faults of a prison door might not be the most important thing to worry about if more thugs show up. Here's hoping we only have one or two to deal with since most of us are unarmed and unarmored.

In 3.5 You'd be considered an average warrior for having an attack bonus of +10 at level 5 before any item bonuses too. And having an AC of 20 would be considered standard for non-martial classes. Breaking out of handcuffs, ya know the stuff that's suppose to keep your restrained, is also only a DC of 20 to break or DC 20 to slip out of. Both things an "average joe" could just keep rolling and get out of. I wouldn't use 3.5 as a good comparison to 5e, especially considering 5e has a much lower need to min-max to do anything more complicated than tying your shoe or looking at the sun.

Damn you're right! That's the problem when you think like I do. Either you jump at every shadow because you think it's a demon, or every demon is a shadow because that's what I was looking for! Alas.
Though honestly tbh looking at our characters, a lot of us ain't exactly great in the wis save department. Also @Vixen58 what did you use your Resilient feat on? It still looks like you only have two saves unless you used it on the saves you already have.
