Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Shortfang clenches his hands close, but than relaxes as he lets out a sigh. "Yeah... Yeah boss is right. Sewer Dragon strong." Bonesaw nodded, patting Shortfang on the shoulder before looking to you. "So! I see you still have Bone Clubs! They really good huh?" Bonesaw smiles as he points back to the shop. "Now that we have Dragon Watch again, we go fishing! Big big sea beast make great bone clubs. With new metal and stuff, hunters fight better. No more wood and stone." Indeed, it seems like opening Dragon Watch for the Sewer Dragons have increased Underhaven's standard of living. Though it still smelled like a sewer, there was also a slightly pleasant scent of the ocean as well. Which normally may be a bit gross, but compared to the scent of waste it was like sniffing flowers. Meanwhile a small gaggle of kobold children, creatures so tiny that you could balance one on your hand, appeared and began to swarm Pylia, seemingly trying to ask her a thousand questions at once. Pylia was surprised and quickly overwhelmed as Shortfang turned and chortled as her predicament. "Pylia popular!" But Pylia wasn't the only one getting swarmed by the little gremlins. Buddy was also covered in the little lizard people, though unable to express any concern as well as being far more physically bulky than the others, he was barely inconvenienced. And finally, many of the children began to gather around your feet as well, tugging on your clothes and chatting in draconic. They seemed to be very curious about you and your appearance, asking you questions in a language you're not entirely proficient with. "Hey Boss, they wanna know how you fight. They say you fight like Dragon Guards."
"Really? Growing up, I've always heard that Siren's use their magic to bewitch men into their slaves. I just figured those drowned were the same men who fell for her song, serving her after death or something. Makes sense to me at least." Hector said, proposing his theory. Nyx, who was moving a bit faster thanks to his help, suggested a different hypothesis. "Frankly sea creatures who sing to lure men are vast and many. Sirens are the most common of course, but I don't know any siren that cares enough about pretty things to learn necromancy. I think it's a sea hag. A shipwreck would make a fine lair for it, and those vile witches certainly would be the type to craft undead minions." Hurrik, who was slowing down for the group but still at the front, added his thoughts to the conversation. "Whatever it is, we'll be going into it's lair. It'll have the advantage of terrain over the lot of us. If we weren't looking to plunder it, I'd recommend just setting the wreck aflame. Once in the open, we can simply shoot it to death with bows and magic. The undead aren't known for their abilities with a bow after all." In the distance the group could hear the ocean's wave. Just a bit longer and they'll be out of the forest and getting closer to the coast. "Wow, we're moving fast captain!" Hector said in amazement.
Uncommon to the point that most people consider them more a mythological being. And much like any mythological being of old, there are hundreds if not thousands of orc hopefuls who claim to be a decendant or even an orog themselves, to mixed results. The issue with orogs is that there's a lot of discussion about what exactly makes an orc an orog; is it greater than average intelligence? Is it it being bred with an ogre? Is it simply divine blessing? All these things are just one of the many things that orcs will fight among each other about.

Mechanically speaking by the way, the orcs in Keratia are not Volo Guide's orcs, but Eberron style, which mainly means two things: instead of simply Intimidation they get Primal Intuition, which means they get two skills proficiencies (Animal Handling, Insight, Intimidation, Medicine, Nature, Perception, or Survival). And secondly, they don't have the innate -2 int of the Volo Guide orcs, so orcs in generally are not any more or less stupid than other races. It's for this reason that the orcs in Keratia are fully capable of creating and maintaining their own forms of government and diplomacy, but also still have the same issues as any other nation when it comes to conflicting ideals and cultures. Incidentally their Primal Intuition also means that there's a large variety of skill among different orcs, which encourages a sort of tribalism to stick with people who are good at what you're good at, but also competition where orcs would want to be better than their fellows by whatever means practical for them.
Half-Orcs do exist, but baring ones who lean heavier towards their nonorcish lineage, they all look mostly orcish aside from slightly slimmer builds (since they don’t have the powerful build trait and all). Additionally it’s “unusual” for Orcs to breed outside of their own race largely due to cultural reasons, though yes the usual born from rape raiding and pillaging types of half-Orcs do exist. But this isn’t nearly as common as most people expect and, a natural but unfortunate consequence of a non-orcish couple birthing an orcish child, most half-Orcs don’t survive infancy.

As one might expect, places were the typically aggressive and warlike orcs living peacefully among their neighbors are rare. Those born from a peaceful matrimony are often caught between the two worlds while generally accepted by neither, and adventuring itself isn’t a steady way of living when allies are slim pickings. Thus most half-Orcs you might find tend to live normal civilian lives as oppose to orcs more natural inclination to be raiders or mercenaries. Or either that they do work with other orc mercenaries, but are nondescript and just sort of blend into the bulk of the horde.
Just as Talogan said, Hurrik had no issues finding safe and stable passage for them. Taking out his sword, he'd chop through any brush and obstruction to give them a clear path. Nyx struggled to keep up a bit due to her tiny legs and having to climb over things that the other, taller crew members could easily just walk over. Thus her responses to you were between breaths. "Whew. Yeah, after you finished your business yesterday, went to a little magic shop. Found a scroll and spent a good part of my day copying it down, and summoning it. I decided to go fey since that's the one I found first. Very colorful you know?" Hector would hang back a bit to help Nyx as they walked. "So hey captain, what do you think we'll be finding over at that ship wreck anyways? Don't imagine the drowned have a lotta good loot on em aside from that one with the axe."
Ooooh. So he still might be dead. Well, either or, we gotta fight out way out of here now.
Shortly after Tyrael went onto the deck, one of the younger prisoners asked him if Lynn was okay. He honestly wasn't certain. "I did what I could for her. She's severely dehydrated." While he doubts she'll die after what he could do to help her, Tyrael wasn't certain how soon Lynn would recover. He treated her fairly quickly but for all he knew she might've been in this desert longer than him, suffering from these conditions all the while. He has no clue what her short term recovery would take, or what long term damage it might've done to her. Regardless, Tyrael looked to the women as they gave him his thanks. He just waved them off. "I'm simply a traveler. Reaching the city will be enough to satisfy me." At her comment about the merfolk, Tyrael shrugged. "I thought she was just a Sylve. Perhaps from the ocean."

Soon there was a crack, and Tyrael received a telepathic message from Zastriel. Apparently Gossk manifested a localized swamp inside of that tiny cabin. This genuinely surprised Tyrael: he had learned about certain types of transmutation magic that can alter the terrain, and even specialized in it for a short while. His Shape Earth spell is an introductory spell for such a school. But to actually be able to cast a spell which manifested the terrain? That was beyond terraforming, itself an already advance level of transmutation magic. Or perhaps what Gossk did was closer to conjuration? Either way, Tyrael was suitably impressed and concerned. He had simply written the lizardman off as a brute, but that level of magic wasn't something that one would expect a novice to be able to pick up. Surely Gossk was a shaman or something to be able to use a spell like that. But hearing the women mention how it'll slow down their travel also concerned Tyrael. While he wasn't in a rush per say, the sooner they reach Kalla the better. "I will check on them."

Tyrael went over to the cabin door and knocked loudly, almost as if he's trying to break in. "Lynn, Gossk, what's going on? How did you flood the skiff in the middle of the desert?" His tone was harsh, almost authoritative, but it was weighed heavily by concerned. It even confused the orc; did he care about these people? Perhaps he at least feel somewhat grateful for how they aided him, so it was only natural that he ensure they did not perish shortly after assisting him. Or perhaps he was simply concerned about this water slower them down. Surely, Tyrael had practical reasons to be concerned. "This water will slow the skiff. We may not arrive until early morning at this rate. How is Lynn?"
Hoi, so Angus ain't dead. Well then, all the more reason we gotta tear through these goons quick and try and catch up.
Now finally and properly armored and geared up, Orchid looked at the door as the voices on the other side came to threaten them. Seems like Angus might've not survived his solo charge. Orchid can't really say she's all that surprised. "I can't say I'm honestly surprised... Regardless, with our backs to the wall all we can do now is move forward." Orchid grasped her glaive and looked at the others. "Me and Aron will take the front. You two try and find any cover as you can and use whatever offensive magic or ranged weapons you have. Anyways... Let's go." As soon as Aron had managed to open the door just by a crack, Orchid would've lunged forward and sliced her glaive across the chest of the first enemy she'd see. The moment her blade lands, her voice would boom out with thunderous volume. "PALKAS!" She'd use her glaive's superior reach in order to strike the first enemy with her blade, but keep him out of conventional melee range to allow Aron to step in and fight. As for Orchid she'd make sure that she was within range to strike at the enemy should they try to retreat, but clear of any incoming attacks as well as giving the other two a clear lane to attack without worrying about catching Orchid in the crossfire.

Honestly, we already lost any advantage we could've gotten with stealth now that the whole compound knows we've broken free, and unfortunately I don't have natural armor so I need the AC. I plan to completely finish donning my armor first and foremost before I go out to fight, and if something comes after us before that happens than I'm just kinda shit outta luck. I'm going to need to make a new spell now to expedite this shit.
