Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

"Dragon Guard, like kobold at Greyscale hut. They strong, worthy to fight with dragons! They also get to ride Sewer Dragons!" Shortfang explained. As for the little ones questions, they were mainly about her combat skills, names, origins, and a lot of silly questions like if you ate the trogs, why you smelled funny to them, and a lot of the boys boasted how they could beat you up and weakly punched your shins. Shortfang made sure to give those kobolds a soft bop on the head to get them to go away. Soon enough a few older looking kobolds came by, women apparently, to gather up the children. A few were holding and carrying eggs and stopped by to talk to Shortfang, who seemed to be speaking in hushed tones. Meanwhile Buddy was T-Posing so the kobolds could have more of an area to play on while Pylia managed to hand off her kobolds to their mothers. She reconvened with you while checking on her possessions. Fortunately, nothing stolen. "Little ones, honestly... So tiny. Anyways um..." Pylia looked to Shortfang, her brows furrowing before looking to you. "It looks like everything here is okay. If it's not too much trouble, there's still a few loose ends I'd like to try and wrap up today too. Don't worry, we won't have to go exorcise ghosts or anything. We'll be checking up on actual people this time."
Nyx closed her eyes and began to channel her senses through Nox, sending him down to the ship to look around. Hector made sure to keep an eye on the surroundings while Hurrik was trying to get more of an idea of how to approach the beach strip. "It'll be a good thing we'll have those smaller boats. They can maneuver past the rocks so long as the waters are fairly calm. Anything bigger will crash against the stones, followed by anyone who falls into the ocean. A double-edge sword, captain: it'll be a death sentence of any of us if we capsize in those waters, but that also means the drowned won't likely survive there either. They'll either need to be beyond the rocks or near the ship itself, which incidentally makes the stones a safe place against them."

As Hurrik explained his thoughts, Nyx spoke. While she wouldn't be able to hear anyone's response, she continued to feed information she could see from Nox in real time. "From what I can plainly see the ship itself is on top of the rocks. No way it's ever going back to see unless it floods. Not only that but the keel is broken in three places, wouldn't even survive more than a minute floating. Lots of wood rot, the mast and ropes are bug eaten, and the only window has been broken. From the window it looks like water got inside the ship at some point too. We could enter through the cracks in the keel and work our way up, or try climbing to the deck and go our way down. Looks smaller than our ship, I don't expect it to have more than one level below deck. Troubling thing though is I don't see where the drowned are. They must still be in the water or ship itself. I don't see any other signs of sirens or whatever else might be controlling the drowned however."
You have a vague idea that the height of tides have something to do with moon phases, though right now what phase the moon is or how that relates to tides, you wouldn't be too sure. Best as you can tell is that it's not high tide right now.
Orchid was careless. She should've predicted that they'd be ready to shoot her down, and she choose a poor angle to try and avoid getting shot by their archers. While she was still breathing, she was taking a beating. Times like these she had a short list of things she wished she had prepared before. Things like instead of trying to stay in melee, she should've readied an Altered Crossbow, or make potions last night so she'd be able to heal up. While it's possible for the others to use their magic to help her, they could also use that same magic to deal with enemies, and asking them to heal her when she could've avoided the damage was her fault. But now wasn't the time to stew on regrets. She can lament later, once they're out of this mess.

Gritting her teeth Orchid changed her grip on her glaive to bring her hands closer to the blade, allowing her to use it in close range and thrust the blade towards the thug. "PALKAS!" She would roar as she charged her blade with magic energy, hoping to do enough damage to slay the foe first. Afterwards she'd go into another defensive stance, trying her best to position herself in such a way to avoid any further ranged attacks.

Roll a nature check.
"I only have one question - are you willing to kill people for money? Yes or no?"

In the Mojave, killers, criminals, and psychopaths are as common as flies on a corpse. Even as the combined forces of the NCR and the Legion pushing into the desert wasteland to claim it as their own, all this seems to have accomplished is creating a chaotic environment where such reprobates can thrive instead of die out. Many of the NCR's efforts end up creating resentment and criminals from anyone to legitimate bandits seeking to sack NCR caravans for their supplies, to relatively peaceful wastelanders who simply refuse to accept the NCR's unconditional control over their lives. Combined with corruption and incompetence putting the lives of their own troopers at risks, some criminals are former NCR themselves, either deserters or those who were deemed such for infractions gone way out of control.

Even the Legion, with all of their claims of might and control through brutality, is not as efficient as they claim to be when it comes to controlling their warriors, or the criminal elements within. Indeed, the brutality and cruelty that the Legion uses as a weapon of fear has become a beacon for the various wasteland gangs and factions to make an unlikely partnership, with Legion sponsored rape, murder, and raiding. Of course it doesn't take a genius to realize that these same gangs would soon turn on the Legion should an opportunity present itself, just as the Legion would not bat an eye to executing every degenerate they had paid off. Indeed, the forces that come to claim to bring peace and stability have done an excellent job at waging war and sowing chaos in the lands.

You are employed by the Black Gold Guns, a fairly new face to the Mojave. Bounty Hunting Firms differ from your standard gun-for-hire mercenary group in that they often work alone or in small groups, not offering services to act as guards or sheriffs, but still taking down criminals and evildoers nonetheless. They take contracts from all over, whether it be the desk jockeys back at Shady Sands, Frumentarii tying up loose ends, or locals in dire need of assistance. The Black Gold Guns is ran by a woman named Annabeth, a former NCR ranger with an eye patch and a big iron on her hip. She handles your contracts and payment. In the same building is a ghoul named Bete, a friend of Annabeth who can assist you with repairing and upgrading your weapons, so long as she has the materials you have the caps. The office itself is located at a spot formerly known as the Lone Wolf Radio, which Bete has already cannibalized into a singular functional radio and computer which she uses for her work. Aside from the business officr and Bete's workstation, upstairs is a small rest area where you can sleep, eat, and relax until your next job. It's not particularly fancy, but it's better than sleeping outside.

"Alright kid, now that you're part of the company, allow me to explain how things are done as simply as I can. I'll assign you a contract to go after a bounty, someone who is verifiable armed, dangerous, and likely running with a crew of their own. The minimum pay for a successful bounty is 250 caps, however more dangerous bounties can often go even higher than that. Naturally, you're allowed to keep whatever you happen to find off your mark or anyone else who gets in your way. In order to verify the mark is dead we need their trigger fingers." Annabeth sits across from you on her desk, writing something up on her type writer. On her desk is a few empty bottles of sarsaparilla and an ashtray with a half-smoked cigar. Soon she hands you a single sheet of paper, with the basic details of your next mark.

"Your first mark is a Convict named Erik Steele, or Thrasher as he tries to call himself. When the Powder Gangers took over the NCR correctional facility up north, Thrasher took a few cons with him into Primm, having taken over the Bison Steve Hotel and forcing most of the towns people to hole up in the casino. While he and his gang are all wanted dead, Thrasher's the only one with the balls to boss the gang around. Once he's out of the picture the rest of the gang will scatter, though no one is going to complain if they're all wiped out." The bounty you received would have Erik's mugshot, as well as a list of crimes below his image. He's wanted for corporate theft, selling of stolen goods, assault, and falsifying business data. It also mentions that he used to work for the a company called Talos Armors, which apparently produced armor for the NCR. The bounty on him is 250 Caps. "Any questions?"
Jawsome. Time to get this party started!
Guess that means I ought to go in for the kill. Post up soon.
Before I make my post, did Najila manage to slay Thug B or not? Also he'd take 5 point of damage from the Booming Blade effect.
Appearance:

Name: Annabeth Elliot "Black Gold"
Race: Caucasian
Age: 31
Bio: Annabeth is a California native. Her father was a crazy religious leader and her mother was a desperate junkie. When she was still a child, her father got in over his head and ended up getting taken out by the NCR. Annabeth was then taken into the NCR's foster system and eventually joined the military. Distinguishing herself in training, she signed up for Rangers, passed, and served for roughly twelve years. However during the battle of Hoover Dam, Annabeth's hand were pierced by a Legionaries spear, and the ensuring explosion at Boulder City took out her right eye, crippling her. While she ultimately recovered after a year, her performance wasn't the same, causing her to get discharged from the Rangers. However she still had plenty of contacts and friends in the NCR so she stuck around doing Bounty Hunting for the NCR, earning the name "Black Gold" for her dark attire and blond hair. Eventually she started her own Bounty Hunting Firm to make a more steady profit without risking her neck as much.
Skills:
Guns - As a ranger Annabeth has always been a good shot, and even after her hands were mangled up she can still shoot straight. While she's slower on the trigger than before, she hasn't lost her deadeye accuracy.
Melee - Unlike most NCR rangers, Annabeth actually likes getting into melee and is quite handy with a hammer.
Speech - Annabeth can fight with words as well as she can with weapons, and despite being discharged her charm has allowed her to remain in the NCR's good graces despite how she often acts outside of their jurisdiction.
Talents: Strength, Endurance
Flaws: Perception, Luck
Signature Weapon: Ranger Sequoia
Gear: Super Sledge, Business Attire, Eyepatch, .45-70 Ammo (Hollow Point), Sunset Sarsaparilla

Appearance:

Name: Bete "Blast"
Race: Ghoul
Age: 244
Bio: A ghoul from the old world, the sole survivor of her family and somehow managed to stay alive after the calamity that destroyed the world. Spent most of her time learning how to repair and fix up machines, as well as rig up explosives for personal protection. Has taken a shine to Annabeth after she helped Bete out with some outlaws. Bete handles repairs and maintenance for the Bounty Hunters of the Black Gold Guns, at a fair price of course.
Skills:
Science - Bete always had an interest in technology back when she was human, and when the bombs dropped and she became a ghoul, she had all the time in the world to learn about the various technology left behind.
Repair - Though the world became ruins, there are still somethings that can be put back together, and Bete has taken a vested interest in trying to fix it. She can repair pretty much anything as long as she has the parts on hand and time to tinker.
Explosives - Guns were always in high demand, and Bete isn't dumb enough to try and get into a close-range fight with most creatures, so she learned how to create improvised explosives, and eventually went from improvised to far more legitimate. Give her a few minutes and she can cobble together some sort of explosive from anything within arms reach.
Talents: Intelligence, Perception
Flaws: Strength, Charisma
Signature Weapon: Grenade Rifle
Gear: Combat Knife, Leather Backpack, Sturdy Workers Outfit, Gasmask, 40mm Explosives (Regular, Incendiary, Pulse)
