Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Your crew quietly murmured among themselves as you told them what must’ve been controlling the drowned. Hector looked rather nervous while Nyx and Hurrik were deep in thought about a banshee’s strength and weaknesses. “We’ll definitely need holy water.” Hurrik said. “Whether for the banshee or drowned, holy water will keep them down.”

Nyx nods as she looks at your sword in particular. “The drowned will go down like any other zombie will, but a banshee isn’t as affected by mortal weapons. And I’m not sure if my own spells will be entirely effective, nor will it be a good idea to rely solely on my magic to put the monster down.”

Hector chimes in after he calmed himself down. “Aye captain, why don’t we go with Hurrik’s first plan? Maybe smash up the boat a bit, give that ghost less cover to work with. I-I don’t know much about banshees but ghosts like them don’t like sunlight right? We attack in the day, knock some holes in the ship for light, ought to keep her at bay.”
Pylia bit her lip. "I... I don't know Sylvia. This... I haven't actually spoken to people since you showed up... I don't want to come off as some strange woman talking to a bunch of children, but at the same time I don't know if John would even recognize me if I started talking to him..." It was then that Shortfang's snout popped out from Buddy's bag and gave his two-cents. "If there be humie kiddies, Buddy should go. Bet kids don't see knight like Buddy before! Then Shortfang talk for Buddy, be real mysterious! Make kids interested."

Pylia's worries turned to dulled doubt as Shortfang offered up his idea. "Shortfang that sounds ridiculous. If I'm worried that I might scare off those children, don't you think Buddy would be even worse? I mean... No offense to him, but I don't imagine they would like a fully armored knight just walking up to them."

Shortfang poked his head out, squinting at the children in the distance. "They humie boys yeah? They like Buddy. Buddy is a knight! Cool weapons and armor. They hang out with him, trust Shortfang." He then popped back into the bag to hide from others. Buddy didn't really move or have much of an opinion and was simply looking at the two of you.

Pylia sighed and looked over to you. "I... I think for now, I should just try and... No no, I can't do this on my own. I know I'll screw up. Let's just go together and not be too weird about this."

"Yeah. Though... I can't say I've ever been there. Let's hope it's not too hard to find." Leaving the shop, the party would go look for the gardens. Asking around, you'd be pointed back towards the Maker's Temple. Pylia is visibly annoyed at having to go back there, but sure enough once you're within sight of the Maker's Temple, there were a few signs pointing towards a place simply called "The Community Gardens", which is likely where John is at. As they walked Pylia tries to make some small talk to calm her nerves. "Everything is so different here. Growing up I the castle town ever seemed so... Big. Even as a child everything looked so much simpler. But now everything's changed it's... It's jarring. Gods, how long have I been gone? It's only felt like a few years but this..."

Walking into the gardens, the place looked suitably impressive. There seems to be various spots where flowers and trees were being grown, plenty of benches and tables to sit at, it was more or less like what you might expect a park to be. There was even a rather large grassy field where there was children playing. And it was there that Pylia pointed out their target. "There he is. John." Over at the hill were many children, seemingly running down while shouting about something. John was not one of those children; he was a massive, almost deformed looking man who was also running down the hill with them. Even from this distance he appeared to be bigger and bulkier than Buddy, but his proportions and general shape gave him an entirely uncanny appearance since unlike Buddy, John was a human. "I... Don't know what they're doing. Maybe we should wait a little while longer, I don't want to approach the children and scare them..."
Ugh. I just realized I've been naming him John this entire time when his name is suppose to be Jack. This is what happens when I don't form proper documents for these NPC's.
Yeah that's understandable mate. The world's all whack right now and at best some of us gotta cope with this massive change in our daily schedules, but others are going to have to go crazy hard due to those same life circumstances. Tis just a game, the story can wait.
Sure enough, common Lost weren't going to withstand much against Bridget's giant blade. Delmina would have a harder time hitting the shield soldiers however, as they were using the thralls as meat shields to take the shots aimed for them. Slowly they would push forward as the thralls mindlessly charged forward until one of the soldiers suddenly leapt out, his shield poised to intercept Bridget's blade. Unlike the thralls who only new how to attack the soldiers still had some level of finesse and skill, and were thus able to parry one of Bridget's swings as she tore through the Lost horde. Tossing her blade aside and killing the momentum of her swing, the lone soldier raised his blade up an unleashed a flurry of blows directly against Bridget, signaling the other two soldiers to charge and take advantage of the sudden shift in momentum. What was already a steady stream became a violent burst of Lost trying to put everything into this single push.

A deafening roar would echo out as the thralls and soldiers continued to enter the room, however their numbers were noticeably starting to deplete. But that would simply mean that something big was coming. And bursting into the room, were not one but two large lost. A purple spiked lost armed with a large corrupted bayonet rifle, and charging at Ambrosia was a red horned lost wielding a corrupt zweihandler. Both creatures seem to recognize Ambrosio as the larger threat, with the Spike Lost shooting powerful ichor blasts at Ambrosio while the Horn Lost would try and flank, making sure that you could not block both the Horn Lost's sword and the Ichor blast at the same time. Meanwhile the two boys were cleaning up the few Lost that were getting closer to them, but at the moment they were still doing their best to keep the small fry off themselves and Ambrosio.
You'd feel a slight sting as the gecko's teeth cut into flesh, but as soon as the blade of your axe left the gecko's skull, the beast fell to the ground twitching. It would spasm there for the rest of it's very short life, dying in about twelve or so seconds. That left the last lizard, the one you had stunned with your rifle, who continued to run and lunge right at you. Despite being so small and physically puny, these creatures were physically capable of rather impressive levels of athleticism, not just their climbing ability but also leaping. This is most important because the last gecko jumped high enough that it was going to try and bite your face.

Aegis

It was go time! Their first opponent was a minotuar who was jumping around, throwing things with his super strength. He taunted the Lance Team and started running away, utilizing his strength to jump over and on top of buildings. It made Mamoru annoyed since she couldn’t really do something like that, at least not quickly. ”I guess we gotta leave it to Acion-kun to corral em to the ground level with us! It’s gunna take us too long to try and catch up to him as long as he got them jumps!” Though listening to Mina, Mamoru also thought that this was likely a diversion tactic. But that was even better: that meant that they wouldn’t have to fuss about trying to chase the other perfects down!

If that was the case, the important thing here was to have the advantage of terrain. In an open area like this were people like that minotaur could just jump out of everyone’s reach, and otherwise lack a lot of cover, the Lance Team was a sitting duck. She remember doing simulations in the training room about urban combat: they needed to set up a rally point first and foremost, somewhere defensible and centralized. Looking into the skies she say Dulga also using her super strength and jumping onto the roof of a building. She took to one of the taller buildings, which overlooked much of the urbanized area here. That gave Mamoru an idea as she turned to Ruby. ”Ruby, this place looks kinda like a alley market area, so let’s lead him to the market square! Less places for him to be jumping around and still gives Dulga a good view to shoot him!” Mamoru said eagerly. She also kept her eyes out for any other perfects that might pop up.

”If we cut off his escape, I can hold him back while you guys lay on the hurt!”

Dark Matter

Barely five minutes in and they were already being attacked. Donny didn’t really get a good look at what they were fighting, but whatever it was, it was loud and strong. Maybe Donny wasn’t the only monster here. Staying close to the surface, Donny listened to Dulga’s plan. Or rather, is reminded of the general plan: hang back and let Lance Squad fight while they cover their rears. Not exactly any direction that Donny could make use of. All he really had to work with is Dulga’s other command for him which was to cut off the prefect’s exits, however that minotaur sounded like he was moving fast. And if he wasn’t running on the street level, there really wasn’t much he could do.

Dulga jumped onto a building with Hitomi and Tomoe, leaving Donny without her orders. He was nervous but had to steel himself. He couldn’t fail his team now by being passive and indecisive. Not only that, but while Dulga said that they needed to watch the Lance Team’s back, she should remember that the prefects could still totally go after her too. So while Donny didn’t plan to stick around per say, he would try and do one thing: over at the building she decided to roost at, Donny would tunnel underneath main entrance and weaken the floor beneath the door. Not enough to collapse the building, but enough to make prefect who’s careless enough to go through the entrance, instead of trying to climb on the outside, fall into a pit trap and maybe hurt themselves. It was really the best Donny could do.

Then again… Since he didn’t need to really navigate around the buildings, since he can just tunnel through them, he could chase down the Minotuar too. Super strength or not eventually he’ll have to touch down, and if the others are slowing him down with their attacks, Donny needs to be there to secure the capture. ”Alright Donny Boy, time for your first offensive! No more camping I gotta… I gotta go to the fight!” Steeling himself as best as he could, after he rigged up a few trap holes for Dulga’s building, Donny began tunneling towards the minotuar’s location, surfacing only to navigate and try and take note of the surroundings.
Sure enough, Gossk confirmed that the ship taking water was his doing. Suppose it makes sense that he'd need to do this if Lynn was part fish. If it weren't for the fact he owes her for healing him, Tyrael would've demanded that he release the spell. Instead he simply agreed that this wasn't too big of an issue, but asks that the water is dismissed once Lynn is sufficiently well enough to survive without it. With nothing else left to do but wait, Tyrael scavenged for some materials on the ship in order to make a few more great arrows. Most of the arrows he had right now were not what he'd call high quality; normally properly made great arrows could not only be reused but also used as short spears, but Tyrael had been making his most recent arrows somewhat flimsy. Still sturdy enough to withstand the strength of an Ironbow, but highly likely to shatter or snap after being shot. He was lucky that the arrow he had fired the first time was still usable. He also needed to fix up his shield but Tyrael was honestly considering just replacing it wholesale. It wasn't a particularly fancy shield anyways.

Soon however there was a warning. A beast was stalking them. Tyrael guessed it wasn't merely wolves or some such; but more a monster of the sands. Sand Wyrms to be specific; Tyrael has only heard of these monsters. Subterranean creatures who burrow through the sand like a fish swims through water. It always made Tyrael wonder how such a creature possibly functions and how anyone can defend themselves against such beast. Unfortunately Tyrael would now have to figure something out. Gossk left the cabin, dismissing the spell he had cast and commanded Tyrael to go see to Lynn. "Are you a fool? What good will I be hiding within the boat, when the beast is beneath us?" Tyrael took his bow and what arrows he had readied and would try and get a good vantage point to strike the wyrm, but he had no idea what a sand wyrm's weak point would be. Presumably the head, like any snake, but Tyrael could not simply waste arrows trying to pepper it's head with his arrows. He needed one decisive shot, or at least a few if the monster proved to be agile. But between the beast's own surprising speeed, it's cover with the sand, and the ship's own efforts at evasive maneuvers, Tyrael was not going to have an easy shot.

It was then that Gossk made his intentions clear. He indeed to sacrifice himself to stop the beast. Where Tyrael a normal man he would protest, however something clicked between him and Gossk. Perhaps the lizardman too felt a strange sense of need to repay Lynn for her assistance. No doubt Gossk, much like Tyrael, was saved thanks to her. And this was the only way Gossk could repay such a debt. "Ang Gijak-Ishi! You are truly a fool... But there's no doubt to your strength. Rujatum Madum, Ognir Rarob. Feast." Tyrael would allow Gossk to leap off the boat, but cast his Enlarge spell once Gossk was midair, shifting him into a giant so that he may have a better chance at slaying and stalling the sand wyrm. With Gossk's sacrifice, Tyrael would go find Lynn to ensure she was okay and didn't do anything foolish like trying to go after Gossk or something. "Lynn, were are you?"
