Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

After his disappointing attack against the sleeping Stirge, Yoh turned his head a bit behind him and noticed one of the other fighters going down. Looked like the Stirge managed to drain them dry. Alas, Yoh lacked any means to bring him back up, though the holy warrior seemed to be taking care of him. And while the man's hammer failed to do much of anything, an arrow flew right pass Yoh and struck the Stirge true, killing it. With the only awaken stirge dead, they can focus on dealing with the troll, or cleaning up the sleeping stirges. Yoh wished that there was a bit more space for him to squeeze pass the Troll, but he knew he could get to the other stirges without getting too close to the troll for comfort. Fortunately, the one at his feet was still kicking, so Yoh lifted his spear and plunged the blade into the bug.

"Narmacil." This time Yoh had no difficulty skewering the insect. And as Yoh twisted the blade, the blood that spilled from the stirge ignited, turning into a large gout of fire that struck the troll. At the same time Yoh's curse began to slowly eat away at it's flesh as well, just as Yoh had intended. Pulling his blade out Yoh carefully backed away from the troll. As he moved back he looked to the barkeep. "Could you push him a bit away? Or even better, back down that hole?" Regardless of what Durnan does, Yoh moves away.

So how are things going this far? I’ll likely start recruiting again but if you have any mates who might be interested, bring them in.
After speaking to Lynn, Tyrael spent most of his time resting, watching out for danger, or crafting more arrows. Things were thankfully peaceful as the sun came up and they were getting closer, Tyrael remained on edge. They could be attacked by random monsters, or more strange individuals would arrive. He spent a good most of his waking hours wondering what exactly things like the Krogan Soul, who Jeevak was, who Kitchi was, and much more. Not to mention Lynn herself had some goal that may involve them, or at the very least be dangerous and require much time and preparation. These were his thoughts as he continued to ready himself for whatever was to come.

Eventually the skiff would arrive towards Kalla. Tyrael had replenished his arrow supplies and even made himself a new wooden shield. He had also commandeered a sack where he had stored the rest of the brigand's equipment so he could sell or melt them down. One of the girls, Sonia, informed him that the town had spotted them and were coming to meet them. However she also mentioned that it looked like the settlement had been attacked recently. Tyrael presumed that it wasn't by bandits: these girls were obviously kidnapped from their homes not from a raid, so it shouldn't surprise Sonia if their town looked in disarray if that was the case. No, if she's surprised that there was a fight at her hometown, it happened after she was taken, and unexpectedly too. Looking over Tyrael could see the mass of bodies. Whatever happened here was a bloodbath.

Tyrael kept quiet and made sure to adjust his clothing to hide his person. He has no idea how they might react to an orc like himself, so as long as he can keep his robes sufficiently baggy enough to hide his features, no one should be too perturbed by him. He would go and awaken Lynn, informing them that they near town and that they would have company. Hopefully pleasant company. They should try and make sure she can access their oasis as soon as possible for her sake. Tyrael will see about gathering any relevant information which could help them on their journey. Afterwards Tyrael gathered the rest of his equipment. One loaded up, the ship stopped as the girls were reunited with their friends and families. Reading the mood it seems like the people were happy and not hostile, so Tyrael did his best not to look aggressive. As difficult as that could be for a hulking figure like himself.

Walking down the gangplank Tyrael looked around the crowd for anyone who seemed to be a leader of sorts, either an elder or a strong warrior. There were a few who looked foreign, but then again so did Tyrael. Best not to make any assumptions. He supposed the best thing he could do right now is simply announce himself and see who approaches. "Mirdautas. I am Tyrael. I have traveled far and need supplies for my journey. If there is an oasis here I must seek it for my companion." He didn't really mention his role in saving the girls, on the belief that it was fairly obvious due to the fact he was here and well armed that he was involved in their rescue, and hopes the town people would compensate him appropriately. If not, than he'll have to test their good will. "If there is a merchant or metal smith here, I also must seek them out. I have business with them."
Nox Nyctores "Barrel"
Healthy | Angeli Pallidus Guild | Getting this party started

"Hey hey!" A voice called out to the groups as they were leaving. The voice came from a lone cat, sitting on the bar. "What sort of grand opening is this? Come in, get cloaks, and just get to work? Terrible I say, terrible. This place needs more... Flash! A more casual atmosphere. All work and no play makes you a dullard after all. So stay awhile, get to know one another, and more importantly," As Nox raised his palms into the air, from out behind the bar were six cat beastkin girls dressed in maid attire and carrying booze and snacks. "FEAST! Fill your bellies with good food and your eyes with beautiful people! Treat my girls nice and you'll have a great time!" Nox watches as the girls go up to the various new members, offering them food, drink, and a table to sit and chat at.
"Interestin stories huh? Well... None bout me, but I 'member dis orc, ez name was Katalmach. Half-orc like me, bit older, seemed like a nice nuff guy. We were workin da riggins together when we got word of a pirate raid incomin. Now, dis was back when I was still a cabin boy, so I ain't too familiar wif weapons yet. An Kat, he was older but he was da same as me. Official orders were fer me an Kat ta go down under and wait it out, get ransomed if possible, but fight back if we gotta. But Kat ain't wanna do dat. So when we got put under da deck, Kat an me started puttin some crazy weapons tagether. He uh, he made dis sorta club, dat really just a bottle of fish oil onna stick. But he has dat an a torch, so he clubs em with da oil, get em all drench, den he smacks em with the torch, light en on fire. As fer me well... We found us some real weapons, a crossbow an a knife. Seemed pretty good cept... Ain't got no bolts. So we ain't able ta shoot nuthin, and i didn't wanna fight wif just a knife. But Kat see, he tells me ta tie da knife to da crossbow, so da I can stab em with the knife if I don't got no bolts, and den I can shoot em when I find bolts. Worked out pretty well, and I've been tinkerin with somethin like dat fer a while. It's uh, what ye saw when I didn't have me crossbow all put together." Sticky finished his chowder as he was finishing his story.

"We won da fight though no one really took notice of me an Kat. Anyways, bout a month later we hit port and Kat found himself a new job. I stayed on da ships for a while, never hearing from em again. But since dat day I just kinda... Felt like maybe like Kat, sometimes I ought just try and do something meself, ya know? Like I ain't always gotta just follow orders. Maybe try something new I could be good at. I mean, it ain't easy cuz I ain't exactly sure what I'm gunna be good at but... Sometimes ya surprise yerself." Then Sticky listened to you and your story. He quietly nodded, giving one-worded responses just to show that he was indeed listening. For a moment, you two share a look towards the ocean. Though the waves were still rocky, the storm was letting up and you could see what appears to be a sunset in the distance. It was hard to tell that it was in fact daytime during the dark storm.

As you were about finished with your Chowder, Sticky stammered to speak. "I um uh... I-If it ain't too much a bother um... I uh... Ah... Caeda, can I go wif ya? On yer adventure?"

Orchid joined Aron in getting ready for combat if this lizardman proved a threat. However he quickly raised his hands to show he was unarmed, and explained his situation. Orchid wasn't entirely certain he could be trusted, given that he could still very well have been a sentry left behind to watch over them, but right now she isn't going to complain about having extra help. She'd leave the talking to Najila as Orchid went around the room carefully poking and prodding things with the blade of her glaive. There could still be a sneaky kobold hidden around here waiting in ambush, so Orchid didn't intend to let her guard down for a moment. "As much as I'd like to trade information, we got to keep moving. I don't know what your stuff looks like but there was a storage room way back where we came from. If you hurry I'm sure you can grab what belongs to you and meet back up with us, but we can't stand around here chatting. More so since something shot down our little bird, so I've no doubts they not only know we're coming, they're probably sending goons down here to slow us down, if not spot us."

Without a Detect Magic or Identify, what you can tell is that this is some form of healing potion, albeit a much more powerful one. What it's exactly function is however, you won't know.
Finding the key was surprisingly easy. While none of the gory effigies had any clothes for you to search, the scattered remains of their garments meant that it was mostly just a matter of turning over the right piece of refuse. As Tayang and the other men filled various bottles and containers with the holy water, you’d find the key in what appeared to once be part of a priestly robe. It was part of a key set, with two fairly mundane looking keys and one slightly more intricate naturally the more detailed key opens the locked box, which contained 5 gold, 23 silver coins, and 116 copper coins (8.46 GP total), as well as a small potion tucked squarely inside. It contained a crimson liquid similar to that of your standard healing potion, but this one seemed to actually glow.

Soon Tayang would approach you, your crew having gathered up anything of worth. “Managed to get roughly three gallons of holy water. If we get back to Red Shard we can buy a bulk of flasks for about 24 vials of Holy Water. Nyx grabbed a bunch of books, I’m assuming they’re important, and we managed to find assorted holy stuff in the back. Ritual things and assorted silver holy symbols. I know whatever sea god this temple did worship isn’t your deity Captain, so we just plan to flog em off as loot. Not much else to salvage from the bodies.” You knew that Tayanng was about as grizzled as you are when it came to facing these sorts of horrors. While most of your men were trying to advert their eyes from the grisly scene, Tayang felt no real sense of horror here. Was no different than what you might see on a battlefield, or after one.
Whoops. I’ll edit accordingly.

Edit: And Edited.
Eh, I can't really say I'm a fan of the Harpers, but I suppose my guy would probably just sorta be working with them as a gig. Tbh I'm more of a Zhent fan myself, and not just because of the idea of being an edgy gangster type.
