The worst thing about mental illness is you have to look after yourself a disgusting amount. I know it's the only way to actually be in a fit state to look out for others, but it still feels wrong.

Bio

A frazzled British thirtysomething cat mum with something of a tea addiction.

I like a wide range of RP genres, but have two absolute favourites: Pokemon and magical girls. (If someone manages to combine the two, I'll be VERY happy!) I post fairly regularly, but sometimes shit mental health days crop up - if that causes any delays, I'll try to resume posting ASAP.

I was in a bad place mentally earlier this year, and had given up on things I used to enjoy, but am doing much better now. Still not 100 per cent, but better. Drawing's definitely helping, so thanks for getting me to start again :)

@fer1323 I don't have a DA account, but should maybe set one up. Before I joined this RP, I'd kind of stopped drawing, and this got me back into it.

@Noxx Pic is 60% done. Wow, my NPC is pretty similar to her... Which makes sense, if she sees Mistress Hollow as a role model.

@fer1323 Ah, so Luna was once human. I kind of guessed that from what you hinted. Having a disaster-related backstory fits the Pokemon she eventually becomes.

@Noxx Ohh, I love your description of Mistress Hollow, that's a pretty detailed backstory there. Kind of reminds me of that feeling you get when you complete the games... "Ok, I defeated the Elite Four and the bad guys, what next?"

Should have the drawing ready fairly soon, stuff got in the way last week.

@fer1323 Yep! I'd love to read that. It'll be interesting because Absol isn't usually an evil Pokemon, just one that gets blamed for disasters, so I'd like to find out what made Luna that way.

I think I'll be able to make an OC once I've read the backstory and have a better idea of what's going on with the bad guys.

@fer1323 Well, Grumpig mentioned a type advantage... I'm guessing from the appearing and disappearing that Luna's a Ghost type.

Yeah, I like how Sol's new body is going to take him some getting used to.
