Current Hey, I hate to say this, but I am probably leaving this place for the forseeable future. Those who are waiting for me on RPs can just... stop waiting, I guess. Sorry, all.

Well, @Truant, I believe what's wrong with you is in the name... your ability is Truant, you only get to act every other turn.

@Ampharos Boy, I guess that means you're going to get cave adaptation by the time this whole thing is done, and you'll vomit as soon as you leave your house, lol.

You ever read one of your RPs from years ago and just laugh at how bad it is?

Dragons vs unicorns, huh? I'm horribly biased in this case 'cause I HATE horses, so... dragons.

Hey, Eklispe, mind having the other wolf attack your character in your post?
I notice Jo-Anne walk around the place for a while before settling at a spot next to the campfire. I would have gone over there, myself and probably try to learn more about those obviously magical stones and, well, the magic IN those stones, however, I also noticed Erion, who seemed to be having trouble finding Boco... I figured my studies and possible friendship with this odd not-quite-viera could wait for a little bit, and I walk over to Erion. "Hey, Erion, um, would it help you if I knew where they put all the yellow chocobos?" I asked him, with me having seen them herd the unused yellow chocobos into their own section in the northern part of camp. Of course, I had no idea which one of them was Boco, despite having known the bird for as long as I've known Erion... of course, that being said, I couldn't really tell the difference between two chocobos of the same color, as horrible as it sounded, so Erion would need to actually check that part of camp out himself. The camp was oddly quiet for having just finished getting through an ambush, and having two of their generals figured for being possible traitors, and possible commanders of the opposite army. Of course, the remaining generals were in a tent somewhere, and I figured that now was certainly NOT the time to bother them, not only would that be eavesdropping, but I couldn't even offer any additional insight on the issue, unlike last time, when I told them that the zombies USUALLY stick to the beaten path... of course, that got us in an ambush, but, that, again might be because of one of the two generals. I honestly wished I knew which one was the traitor, and I wished I had more than just hearsay as evidence to go on with this issue, but, sadly that wasn't the case.
Yeah, but I forget sometimes, 'cause I have the EXACT SAME luck and agility mod, as in, they are basically equal to each other, lol. I edited anyways.
Deravan seemed to have the more alert wolf covered, so I decided to take advantage of the other wolf's dazed state, and I fired off a fire spell, though... something seemed a bit off about the spell. I tried to control it, but the thing went haywire, almost hurting me, and nearly burning the wolf to a crisp once it hit the thing. Somehow, the thing still stood there, but, its tail was between its legs, and it was already looking for an escape route, a way out of this place. The thing's packmate, however, was a bit more brave, preferring to run up to me to bite me right in the stomach, though, thankfully, my armor took most of the blow, and, as if it was some sort of retribution for what I did to its friend, the bite hurt... a lot. As soon as I managed to get the thing to loosen its grip, I tried to head towards the back of the group, though, I felt like I couldn't cast another spell, even if I tried, at least, not one that would be helpful in a fight. "Th...this is bad... I really should have rested when I had... the chance..." I said to my teammates. I then notice a new guy, a drake who was wearing Miles' clothes. "Oh as if this day couldn't get any worse for me... now I gotta fight a drake, too!? This world just wants me dead, doesn't it?" I end up saying, even if it was right in front of the drake's face, I kinda wanted him to hear it, maybe it would convince him to leave me alone, somehow. The air seemed thick, as if I was breathing in more moss than actual air thanks to my current condition, but I felt like I could stand... maybe even against another attack, just, not from these wolves.
And... yet another critical decides to happen.
I attack Wolf B with a fire spell!
My roll: 19! (w/ Luck at 8+ 19 and 20 are both critical rolls)
Enemy's dodge roll: 1

Is 19 + 7 more than 10 + (1 + 8)?
26 -------------------- 19
Critical hit!

(basically, what that part shows is that for an extended critical to actually work, you still have to get at least 10 more than the enemy's total dodge roll... a 20 will always hit, but a 19 crit might not be a crit.)

MAG mod = 11/2 = 5.5 * 3 = 16.5... + (6 (max die roll on a d6 spell)*2 (because crit))
28.5... * 1.5 (fire weakness) = 42.75...
43 damage total! (ignores Mdef)

Wolf B has 7/50 HP left... and I'm down to my last MP.
*Wolf B is now DESPERATE! Wolf B now has a +50% chance to dodge incoming attacks, however, intimidations against them are 50% easier.

Wolf A tries to bite me!
Wolf A's hit roll: 17 + (8 AGImod) = 25
My dodge roll: 14 + (7 LUCKmod) = 21
Wolf A hits!

Wolf A's effect roll (1d8 for poison) (must be 8 to succeed): 2
Wolf A's damage roll: 2
2 + 12 STRmod = 14 - 8 (Defense) = 6 damage

I now have 3/19 HP... next is @Ridlins's turn.
No, I don't think it would. I mean, I like how it's semi-tabletop, and the stats remind me of FE.
Hey, look who finally posted IC... uh... you guys can post again, if you want.
I'm having a bit of difficulty... should I have my character know where they separated the yellow chocobos out to, or not?
Alright, another roll for initiative, I guess.
I rolled a 16, so, plus my 7 AGImod, that makes a total of 23 INI
Backstabs rolled a 2, so plus her 6 AGImod, that makes a total of 8 INI
Wolf A rolled a 15, so, plus its 8 AGImod, it has a total of 23 INI
Wolf B rolled a 1, so, plus its 8 AGImod, it has a total of 9 INI.

I just had to watch as the ninja tried to knock out Miles, as well, but, somehow, someway the princess rush in just in time to take the attack, that is, after complaining about the spiders in her hair, and in her crown. Interestingly, the ninja didn't seem to want to kill anyone, and, just as well as he started to run away from our group... as he drags along the somehow heavy katana... I don't think anyone wanted to mess with him at this point, so we all just ran in our own direction, hopefully away from the ninja. Miles, after squawking like the part-bird that he is at the moment, asked if everyone could speak, and I spoke up, saying "Yeah, I think we can still speak... even if our voices are a little weird..." my voice was still weird and squeaky, but, I needed to speak, anyways. I ran alongside the rest of my team for a while until I finally changed back to my old self, armor and everything. I then notice Erion next to a knocked out Backstabs, who finally wakes up, but seems pretty badly beat up. I use my healing magic on her, somehow healing MUCH more than I thought, and actually bringing her back to peak condition... even if I still only felt half alive at the moment. "That... should just about do it... man... this place is wearing me out, both physically and magically," I comment as I continue through the damp cave, hoping that I'd never find another ninja, again. Just as I thought I might make it out of this place without another fight, two rabid-looking wolves show up, and seem ready to tear us apart. One of them seemed ready to fight, at least, but the other just seemed dazed, or confused.
