Current Hey, I hate to say this, but I am probably leaving this place for the forseeable future. Those who are waiting for me on RPs can just... stop waiting, I guess. Sorry, all.

Well, @Truant, I believe what's wrong with you is in the name... your ability is Truant, you only get to act every other turn.

@Ampharos Boy, I guess that means you're going to get cave adaptation by the time this whole thing is done, and you'll vomit as soon as you leave your house, lol.

You ever read one of your RPs from years ago and just laugh at how bad it is?

Dragons vs unicorns, huh? I'm horribly biased in this case 'cause I HATE horses, so... dragons.

btw who are we waiting on in IC? No rush just wondering whose post I need to be anxious and patient for.

Uh, um...
I was never here!

I'd post, but I think I might still be waiting on @bluetommy2 for some reason. I can't remember why, though. Weird, right?
So, how's everyone doing?

The pangoro decided to ramble on and on about how he used to be so great, but I knew he couldn't be better than me, and a couple of the restaurant's patrons decided to leave while the bird tried to look as intimidating as he could. Kel... somehow broke Ember's confusion, and ran off to find his parents. Ember chuckled to himself, thinking that he might find his father, some umbreon who doesn't like to discipline him, however... he was proven VERY wrong when the dreaded horse came back with Ember's mother. "M-Mother!? Wh-what are you doing here? I... I... um... IT WAS ALL HIS FAULT!" Ember then pointed towards Kel, though, his mother wasn't buying it. "What's this I'm hearing about? You nearly lighting a place on FIRE? I'm guessing Kel spilled your soup, or something equally stupid. You're coming back home RIGHT NOW!" she then 'escorted' Ember out of the building, and back to his house while Ember yelled and tried to explain to her how that keldeo ruined his life by calling him a little girl. She remained silent, but, given that she was currently carrying Ember with her mouth, that was expected. The expression on her face, however, didn't budge an inch. Perhaps I was a little hasty with my revenge... but, I WILL make it out of my room, and I WILL get my revenge! NOTHING WILL EVER STOP ME FROM THAT! Ember practically shouted to himself while his parents both scolded him, yes, even his father, who was usually kinder, more understanding of Ember's issues... or, possibly just too cowardly to do anything. They both agreed to lock him in his room for the rest of the day, AND working at the restaurant until the damages were paid for... of course, Ember would still be unable to go outside for an entire month after that... not that he didn't already have a plan to escape. He ended up as he usually did after he got caught doing something, in his room, making some sort of trap for next time.

Celina, out of nowhere, suggested the name 'Stargazers', and... for some reason, that just seemed to work. Sure, flying dragon eggs had some comedic value, but I was more inclined to call the team 'The Stargazers', and with that, I voiced my opinion "I think I prefer The Stargazers... it just seems to fit for some reason, don't you agree, Devin?" and right after I said that, the piplup introduced himself as Brandish, and explained that he wanted to be our friend. "Well, I suppose you could... um... we were just sort of... uh... setting up a new team... but, you wouldn't be interested in that, right?" I asked the newcomer, who seemed to actually want to be friends with some pokemon who nobody has ever met before. It seemed strange, but, from what I could tell, he didn't have some sort of evil plan or anything. Heck, he might even be hiding less than Celina and her supposed shipwreck... of course, I could already tell what the truth was with her, I just needed to ask her about it once we were alone for any reason. Well, not even a day in this world and already I have friends... or, at least, A friend. This 'Brandish' character seems nice, even if his name is kinda weird. I thought as I looked around the place for any sort of items that I could use... typically, new recruits at a guild got some sort of starting items, at least, they did from what I could remember of the games... then again, I didn't really play too much of the mystery dungeon games, as I had to convince my parents that they weren't 'real' pokemon games, and they only fell for that once... and I still had to play it in secret just so they didn't catch on.
Miles asked about the situation as everyone arrived, and I did my best to explain. "Apparently, this guy found the egg, and was about to eat it for breakfast... in the middle of the day," after my short explanation, Dorisma took the egg, and asked someone to lead us to the dragon. I tried, but I only ended up lost thanks to my poor sense of direction. I passed by a couple of buildings that seemed to contrast one another as I tried to find my way back... a fancy, marble inn, and a hastily-constructed wooden pub. The inn was run by a female drake, while the pub was run by a male desert kobold... the two didn't get along very well, that much was obvious. I then took a left, and found the group again. "Maybe... someone else should lead, huh? Hey, why didn't you guys follow me?" I asked the group, noting that they didn't leave from their spot since I tried to lead them. Maybe they already know that I'm a horrible leader with an even worse sense of direction... maybe they're planning to leave me in a ditch somewhere just so they could let Miles be their leader, or Deravan, or someone... I thought as I awaited everyone's response to my questions. The troll was still on the ground, and he was still mad about something, but he didn't say anything for some reason. He probably thought that we'd attack him if he said anything else, which, granted, we DID actually attack him, earlier, so it made sense for him to think that way. I then noticed that if we found the mother dragon fast enough, we'd still have time to help out the petrified dragon... wait... that also reminded me... "Hold on... didn't we actually explore a cave full of the dust? Why hasn't it effected us, yet? Heck, I even ate some bread that had a little of the stuff on it... weird..." I accidentally thought that out loud, though, I didn't take it back, that WAS weird, and so far, there didn't seem to be any explanation of it.
Well, apparently we were waiting on you. So... alive, but slow. The GM's kinda slow because he has a lot of real life stuff to get through, just, constantly.
That reminds me... he's not mentioned anywhere in your CS... and from whatever I ended up skimming through... is he your character's father, a ditto currently transformed into an Umbreon? Or, am I just wrong?
Yeah, he was supposed to have fainted by now... I wonder what's taking everyone so long, lol.

Kel, for some reason, decided to approach Ember, and Ember was going to show him how much of a mistake that was. "I don't think you WILL tell my parents! Not after I use my powers to CONFUSE YOU!" Ember shouted at the equine pokemon before using confuse ray, now that Kel was close enough to actually get hit with one of Ember's attacks. He then heard something from the restaurant owner that made him snap... er... again. "YOU! Obese purveyor of unhealthy food! I will deal with you later for that misgendering! For now, I must destroy the HORSE for his earlier, similar transgression!" Ember shouted all of this about as loudly as he had been shouting this whole time. It was truly a wonder that these pokemon haven't gone completely deaf... and that was about the time some bird decided to, for no reason in particular, try to... help Ember? Unfortunately, Ember, despite what he might thing, isn't the brightest flame, so, he responded to the bird's attempted aid with "Go away, birdie! This is MY revenge, not yours! I will find some way out of this situation, and I WILL triumph over these FOOLS who can't tell a boy from a girl! In case you don't know... I've already been TRAINING! YES! I have finished the most difficult mystery dungeon TEN TIMES IN A ROW! I think I can handle some stupid, petty bar fight!" as has already been explained... he's not very smart. A few of the customers seemed to notice Ember, and one of them gestured towards him. Perhaps they're just speaking high praise about the lone vulpix who destroyed the evil Kel despite a type disadvantage... Ember thought, as he had no idea what they were saying. Not because he couldn't hear them, but more because he wasn't paying any attention to them.

We all headed off to the guild, and Devin seemed to sign us up for something. Interestingly, he used the word 'person' rather than pokemon, a mistake someone in my predicament was likely to make, but not something that someone of this world would likely end up doing. I simply nodded and said "Mhm," every once in a while as he went through the process, as I was more or less lost in my thoughts until we finally got to the room, itself. It seemed much larger than it probably was, and I ended up asking "So... who's this 'Siward' guy that you reserved a room for, anyways? A friend? Family? Seems like a weird name for a haxorus, but, then again, what do I know about haxorus naming schemes, huh?" I then just realized what he signed me up for... I was going to be an explorer because of this. Oh no... that means I'm going to be RIGHT in the middle of all the danger... of all the fights. Then again, all things considered, it's not like I don't already have a target painted on my back. I thought before saying something. Originally, I was going to say something about how we shouldn't do this, but, I decided against it, instead saying "So... if we're a team now, we should probably have a name, right? Anyone got any ideas?" I then tried to think of a few team names on my own... but, I really couldn't think of anything. Of course, since I wasn't very good at coming up with names, with most of my pokemon's names, whenever I was forced to name them (due to certain challenge rules) usually just involved whatever animal they were based off of, and some extra letter, or letters at the end of it, or a name that sort of sounds like the animal they're based off of if that ends up sounding even dumber than usual.
SHOOT! I thought I was waiting on someone, but it's been my turn the entire time.
Post made, but I kinda forgot the new guy, or whoever. Sorry new guy.
