I've been forum RPing for about 13 years; got started on lavendereyes.net, which was a Forgotten Realms/Drizzt Do'Urden fansite, before moving to the old roleplayerguild.com! I've also dabbled in RPing in a few MMO's like Champions Online, SWTOR, and WoW but forum adventures are definitely my preference. I like just about any kind of RP in high-casual and advanced, based on whatever mood I'm feeling (typically high-fantasy, sci-fi, and/or certain fandoms). I love writing and do think of RPing as a way to develop my character and scene writing skills, which basically means I'm always looking for realistic and fluid ways for my characters to learn, grow, and develop over the course of an adventure. I don't ship my characters but do occasionally allow them to fall into a relationship, if they are naturally guided in that direction.
You can take a look at some of my saved characters here, if it interests you.
I also have a deviantart page, though I hardly ever update it.
Thanks for reading! I'm always up for a good chat. -Loopy (aka. Lupus)
Max having to bring up a food delivery and knocks at her door. Not hearing anything, let's himself in, only to find her chained up and asking for him to bring over the chicken...
Agree. We already made kink jokes about Iris's little dungeon roon in her apartment! We can back on that now! It's canon!
*Max NEVER making eye contact* We've uh... gotten... um... *gulp* complaints... of... 'howling'? during the... late hours... of the night and uh... so... we ask you to respect... the other residents during your... free time.
Quick question. What would be considered the worst rooms in the whole complex? I'm talking cheapest in the house, dingy, no windows, underground, next to noisy or unpleasant utilities, etc. It would make sense for the Shoggoth and his 'pet' to be there.
We dont have a true complex layout but Max's room is literally in the corner alley between two buildings on the first floor of bldg 1, lol.
Hey there. I've been thinking about trying out another, relatively easygoing RP. I have an idea circulating about a character staying in the apartment under the pretense that he's secretly some sort of monster, but he's really a human with occult ties who's essentially studying monsters, though he does have an eldritch pet. He might conduct interviews, collect samples, and so forth. Kind of styled after one of those classic Lovecraft Miskatonic professors who get involved with unknowable horrors. Might that be an interesting/acceptable character idea?
Of course our wonderful OP can answer, but I will point out that Umbra Rose's primary purpose seems to be protecting monsters from human hunters so an 'infitrator' would take on a more nefarious tone in context.
*Max proceeds to teach these psychos the board game ‘Betrayal at House on the Hill’. Chaos ensues. Building 1, floor 1 temporarily closed for repairs.*
“H-hey, what if we all tried… being nice? No trophies or burning to ash or eating each other. Nice friendly neighbors! Borrowing cups of sugar! Backyard BBQs on the weekends! It’ll be like… a change of pace? A game? Please?!” -Max, probably
