Rayne blinked and after a moment slowly focused on her surroundings. Her lungs felt tight and the wounds only seemed to bleed more as she sat ztill, gritting her teeth and rolling her good shoulder, she focused on the other boy and gave a firm nod.

"I'll take you up in your offer, we need to get out of the storm and quickly." Pushing him away and hopefully towards the drivers side, Rayne leaned her head out and after cupping both hands around her mouth, whistled sharply into the howling winds.

The sound of paws and a bark answered her immediately, Essa didn't pause as she skillfully jumped onto the truck and hunkered down. Rayne smiled weakly and closed her eyes, she felt dizzy and sick to her stomach. @SomeoneSomewere
Rayne paused and blinked her heavy eyes at the male, her head shook slowly before stopping as a wave of nausea spiked through her.

"I-I can patch up wounds as well, I just...Essa -my dog- usually waits for me just at the edge of the forest that divides this school from where I live. I can't leave her out their with a storm on the way." Her voice was hoarse and had her wincing after each word, her legs felt like led and her arms lIke rubber. She was glad for once that her parents worked busy jobs and didn't get home until late, Rayne swallowed and offered the male a sheepish smile.

The halls were quieting quickly, the sound of strong winds slamming agains the windows had Rayne's head and body turning back to the doors. She paused through when the opened and her Spanish 4 teacher came in, the elder woman paused and blinked.

"You should be long one Rayne. Off with you now, your friend can take you home if he has a car, your not walking back." Her tone was soft but firm, Rayne stepped forward and found her legs giving, her head spun and her stomach gave a hard flip. She was so tired, she couldn't really move anything to catch her fall, her eyes closed and she focused on breathing and keeping her breakfast. @SomeoneSomewere
"I have Potions and Ancient Ruins before lunch, then a free period before ending the day with DADA. Do you have any classes?" Xavier asked curiously as he easily matched Fey'a steps, he stuffed his hands into the pockets of his robes and rolled the shoulder Aurora was perched on. She gave a hoot and affectionately nibbled on his earlobe, Xavier rolled his eyes and smiled, absently taking the lead a they begin their trek back to the castle. "I forgot to ask, what story should we tell Matron Whitheart? She'll ask why we took so long to arrive, I'd say tell her the truth. Though it's up to you since we are avoiding them for a reason." He allowed his words to fill the air as the silence surrounded them, Aurora tucked her head under her wing and settled in for a nap.

she must of eaten while surveying the sky. Xavier thought fondly as his gaze focused on the darkening sky. The wind had been slowly picking up around them, now it was stronger them it was when they'd let Care Of Magical Creatures. Picking up his pace and absently tugging his wand from his sleeve, Xavier cast a Warming Charm, after a moments hesitation, he flicks his wand one more and casts another Warming Charm on Fey.

It'd do neither of them any good to get sick. @Elorwin
Ayaka silently wondered about the question her friend asked, Kasumi was the one to voice his opinion.

"Well since we just began a squad, we'll most likely be given the easiest of missions. D-rank are what we'll be assigned to until we gain more experience." His voice was soft and Ayaka watched out of the corner of her eye as his pale fingers absently rubbed the front of his cloak.

"As for your next question...splitting up might be better, however I'd rather not get tricked again. I'd say we check the farthest one before heading to the last, I want to do something beside train." At the sight of the man, Ayaka's expression shuttered close and her eyes hardened as his gaze fell on her. She knew what he was looking at, her body relaxed as the man moved on and they neared the shop, the sight of their sensei enjoying a cup of tea had her nose wrinkling. "Do we have to go inside?" She didn't like heat, or the thought of sitting down, she hadn't been able to sleep the night before from excitement.

"We do need to speak with him about our missions..." Kasumi was not entertaining the thought for being in a warm place. His hands dug into his pockets as he waited for his teammates to decide what to do.

She was going to break something.

Silver brow twitching in silent irritation, Kazue glanced up from the scroll she was reading to face the person that refused to listen.

"They graduated like everyone else, I will not hold them back due your 'distrust' in them. They both come from well-known families and are capable of-" The person before her made a noise of irritation and slave their hand through the air.

"Aisukage-sama, I just think that they don't understand the power they have at their fingertips-" Kazue rose from her seat and slashed her own hand through the air, the male yelped and staggered a step back as a blade of ice formed along Kazue's arm.

"Their sensei sill meet with the head of each clan and discuss what must be done to ensure noting goes amiss. Will that be enough?" The elder male straightened his robes and narrowed his gaze, after a moment he offered a nod and fibally left Kazue's room. Falling into her swear and dispersing the blade of ice, she rubbed her thumb and index finger against her temple and sighed. She hated dealing with the Elders, both were driving her mad, hopefully Minoru would bring back good news so both would leave her alone already. The sad thing was that both current heads of each clan didn't get along in the least, the only reason they acted as such was because both Ayaka and Koharu were such good friends. Straightening and shaking her head, Kazue focused on the stack of papers an scrolls that needed her attention, the rest she'd deal with when it came. @Sunflower
Taking the destruction for what it was worth -he was a Slytherin after all- he raised his wand and concentrated on his task. With a flick of his wand, two Confundus charms sailed through the air and hit the two Gryffindors in theit backs. Both stilled and shared a look between themselves, snapping his fingers and moving forward, Kieran flickered his wand once more. The last was lifted into the air and a happy giggle drew Kieran's attention away from the squaking Hufflepuff boy.

"Kieran! I wondered where you'd gone off to, need some help?" The familiar voice was laced with curiosity and a hint of mischief. Kieran frowned and with his free hand, he folded all his fingers but his index and middle. Snorting softly he watched from the corner of his eye as she moved forward and turned her attention to the two bullies that still stood there. "Are you leaving?" She asked sweetly, both paled and bolted down the corridor, rolling his eyes and flicking his wand, the Hufflepuff was sent flying a few feet away before Kieran ended the spell. The boy took off just as his feet touched the cobblestone.

I didn't need your help Rina His fingers signed, Rina huffed and rolled her eyes as she neared him and placed both hands on her hips.

"Right, and might I remind you that I will protect you from those who see fit to tease you? Merlin, Kieran, you can't do everything on your own." Her lips were thinned and her eyes had narrowed, Kieran knew the signs of his cousin'a anger, but right now he didn't need to be babied.

I can as long as I- His fingers stilled as Rina moved forward and placed her hand again his chest, he stiffened as a faint flare of pain filled him.

"No. Now, shall we thank your helper? Professor Denier told me to find you. It's time to receive our timetables." With that she turned and paused when she spotted a new face, Kieran turning to far the boy still on the ground. "Ah, Michael, come on then, best not keep everyone waiting." Rina gestured the first-year with a flick of her wrist, Kieran crouched down and offered a sheepish smile. Lifting his wand and waving it, blue mist began to form in the aor between them. Most people didn't know sign-language so Kieran with help from his uncle, created a spell that formed words from a bluish-mist. Are you alright? I'm sorry you got involved. The words formed and remained in the air, he shifted on his feet and the gaze he could feel on his back. Rina wasn't a patient girl, the fact that she'd been chosen as Perfect was odd, though she was smart and dependable when needed so he could understand how she'd gotten the title. She was a month older and loved to brag about it whenever she could, Kieran endured it with a smile, beside she and their uncle was the only family he had left now. @Sunflower
Finishing the last of his food and rising to his feet, Kieran decided to head some place quiet until it was time for the to receive their timetables. The girl who spoke to him earlier arched a brow and Kieran gestured to the book that lay under her folded hands before giving a shrug.

"I'll let the Perfect know then. Want me to go with you?" The question was poised with the girl -Sara if he remembers correctly- rising from her seat. Kieran gave a nod and tapped his fingers atop the book, Sara smiled and offered a nod, sitting back down and engaging in quiet conversation.

Turing on his heel and moving towards the open doors, Kieran took a left and absently tugged the straps of his bag as he made his way down the corridor. He wasn't going far and truth be told, with the storm clouds thickening a they were, the excitement that filled the Hall would diminish with the first clap of thunder. Storms were common this time of year and Kieran adored them for it, it helped him fall asleep faster and kept the nightmares away. His pace slowed and his back straightened as the feeling of being followed drew his attention away from the sky, he had hoped it wouldn't start this early.

Wishful thinking it seems.

"Well hello Kieran, it's been a few months. How are you?" The tone was friendly but that hand that fell on his shoulder and squeezed was not. Half-turning and offering a narrowed look, Kieran watched as two more joined the first, the crimson-gold crests on their robes giving their house away. The first tsks softly and squeezes his shoulder tighter, Kieran blinks and doesn't speak as the other two slowly move around to block his escape routes. Relaxing slightly when the familiar feel of his wand slipping into his hand and pulsing with magic, Kieran raised a brow and waited.

"Aren't you going to respond?" The second one sneered, his wand jabbing him in the side, Kieran remained silent.

"Oi, what are you going to do? Stand there? And I thought Slytherins were smar-" His words cut off into a yelp as a mild Stupefy was aimed at him. Eaaily forming a Protego between him as the three before him, Kieran watched as there wands rose and aimed at him.

Dueling practice it seems. Oh joy. @Sunflower
Finishing and stepping out of the shower, Enna related a breath and reached for the bag she'd brought with her. The water dissapating as she tugged the clothes on and watched her reflection in the misted mirror. Her eyes sported deep black circles, her face was paler then it used to be and after leaning closer to get a better look she noted that her eyes were rimmed with crimson. Stepping away and opening the door, she stepped into the room and placed the towel she'd used on the back of the couch and moved to the open window.

"Weres are a species that can be left unchecked. I'm not the first but it's been a few years since one has possessed the ability to control ice with just a single thought. It's expected and in a way my grandmother being killed played a role in it, our options now are limited. We need a safe place."

There aren't any that are close. James began from his perch on Enna and Adrian's bed, leaning against the wall, she watched as Jason life his head and tilted it.

And at the moment none of us are capable of going the distance. With the term starting she won't attack us as much but that doesn't mean we can let our guards down. The files we picked through are alarming. Enna moved closer to Adrian and after a moment of hesitation, she sat by his legs and curled herself into a ball.

"You never did tell us what those files held. Mind sharing?" Her hair was dropping water down her long-sleeved gray shirt but she didn't care, her mind was spinning and she noticed that something was off. She could smell things trice as far and hear things from the same distance, her muscles twitched every now and then as a scent or sound caught her attention.

A bad sign if anything. It was clear that she'd spent too long shifting from one form to another. And if she remembered an old warning her grandmother told her, if she shifted while in this state, she'd be overwhelmed with it all and lose control of herself. Wincing and pushing the thought away, she focused on the twins as they rose and fluidly shifted back.

Time to get much needed information. @SomeoneSomewere
"And you are?" His voice was flat but the maniacal tone still laced his words. Rayne rose slowly to her feet and gritt her teeth as another wave of heat rose from both wounds, she slowly walked towards the back of the library. Her muddled brain reminding her of the storm that was headed their way, slowly and thankfully reaching the small red box. Rayne's fingers just touched the handle, when the intercom came to life and the voice of their principal filled the air.

The storm has begin, please pack your things and head for the buses. Walkers are asked to please call a parent or ride a bus, enjoy your winter break. Come prepared for next term The boy huffed and stuffed his hands into his pickets, his nostrils flairing as the copper smell of blood filled the air. He grinned and after a glance at the male, turned on his heel and left the library. He knew what she looked low now, the poor angel didn't know what would happen to the wounds if untested.

Rayne turned and made her way back to where the boy stood, her head muddled and tongue heavy. She stopped just behind him and swallowed the nausea rolling in her stomach.

"I'm sorry to have...disturbed you." She offered him softly, her voice sounding odd and weak as she began to move passed him, she was glad that for once her parents were off working and wouldn't see the blood. @SomeoneSomewere

Great Hall: September 1st

Being a seventh-year meant that most of classes were finished, which meant more free time to do as he wished. Piling his plate absently as his other housemates quietly talked amongst themselves, Kieran couldn't help the small smile that tugged one side of his lips up.

"Kieran? Are you excited to see what classes you get?" The voice was soft and held a note of curiosity, glancing over his right, he finds a girl with ebony-black hair and hazel eyes watching him, he offers a nod. She allows a small smile to tug her lips up before her head lowers and she bites her bottom lip, frowing and reaching forward he taps his fingers against her cheek. She blinks and nods, giggling softly as she tilts her head and beams at him.[ color=c4df9b]"Sorry, just a bit nervous is all."[/color] If he remembered correctly, this girl was a fourth-year and had a love of Herbology and Charms, he offered her a smile as he pulled his hand back and set it in his lap. His house was different then the other three, lost saw them as 'The next Dark Wizards' in the making, when in reality they were normal kids with high expectations placed on them since birth.

Glancing around the table, Kieran noted the neutral expressions and quiet conversations, his brows furrowed in annoyance. Most of his housemates were smart and had sharp wit, instead of making friends with the other houses and bridging the gap like their Headmistress asked of them, they seemed content in staying silent. Turning back to his plate, Kieran rolled his shoulders and slowly began to eat, he'd need his strength. @Sunflower
