Do you guys want Rayna to step in with her righteous chains of justice or would you just prefer for Chatsworth to step in?
I don't think Chatsworth would allow this to get any further out of hand.
I am interested, but what level is the technology? Are we Medieval? Renaissance? Napoleonic War?
ARMOURY As he sat and listened to the rest of the students introduce themselves Victor whispered back to Rayna “I’m not certain about the standards either, but why not accept anyone who’s willing? A pervert can kill a Grimm just as easily as a Monk. A terrorist can probably kill a Grimm better than most, so I can kind of understand the logic. I don’t agree, but I understand it. That Shiro seems a bit... loud and him and Mokuren give the same vibe as that Robert and Pricilla. I suppose it's good to see that Beacon is such an accepting place right? Besides, I'm still learning about our team so I don't really have the time to worry about that. It's you I'm more interested in hearing about.” Grinning broadly Victor slightly reclined in his chair to listen to Rayna’s introduction. Aeronautics? As in planes and such? That seems rather specialised the Professor almost immediately confirmed this and unveiled a part of Rayna’s origins. Glancing up from where he sat Victor could tell Rayna was uncomfortable and when she finally sat down she looked like she wanted to melt into the floor. Unsure what to do Victor did something he rather disliked, he used his mechanical arm in a rather intimate way and put it around Rayna’s shoulders. Leaning in close Victor whispered in Rayna's ear “I guess I was right to call you Captain... Captain Rayna.” Smiling Victor disentangled himself and asked “Now, Rayna, could you please do me a favour? Since you seem to have an affinity for removing my arm off if you would be so kind? I would like to do some maintenance” Extending his arm he offered it to Rayna, hoping she realised how much he was actually trusting her by doing this.
I hadn't really thought of entering the "make a crippled character" comp, but when I gave it a go I had a hard time stopping :P
"Wait... you did whatto her?" Victor eyes almost popped out of his head hearing how Rayna won her fight. "I had no idea... I was trying to fix my arm for my own fight. I didn't watch anyone elses. Sorry. Well it does explain the hostility." With the conversation progressing along Victor was surprised how happy he felt knowing that his leader would be in the Armory class with him "Well isn't that a happy happenstance? I understand although to be fair so far our inter-team issues seem to be limited to Rampaged. Well either way it shouldn't be a boring class with you around... Captain." the last word had more of a smile in it than usual. Victor walked at a leisurely pace, allowing himself to be led by Rayna. ARMORY Entering Armory along side Rayna, Victor rubbed his eyes to make sure they weren't playing tricks on him. Well... that's a tank alright. Is that a showpiece or- "Who owns the tank?"The sudden exclamation by the Armory teacher interrupted Victor's train of thought "A damn fine piece of engineering! I expect big things from you, Mr Goldstein. Big things indeed." So a student owns it. No kill like overkill I suppose gently leading Rayna by the arm Victor found them both a relatively empty spot to sit down. As a large textbook slammed down in front of him Victor jumped back slightly. Victor started leafing through it absentmindedly listening to the speech by this strangely charismatic teacher. "Right! I need to see what sort of playing field we're all on so it's time to tell everyone who you are and what you can do!" Victor didn't particularly feel like being the first to stand up, thankfully there were others that took the initiative. Listening to each person's introduction Victor busied himself familiarising himself with the work bench and the surrounding tools. When there was a suitable gap in introductions, Victor stood up for his turn. "Hi everyone, my name is Victor and this weapon making engineering topic? Well it's kind of a way of life" lifting his prosthetic to demonstrate his point "I mean it in more the sense that being bad at this makes life a bit more difficult for me rather than an obsession and learning as much as possible now nears necessity. Sooo... yeah. I can fix my arm and I can probably build another one if needed. That's it." sitting down Victor glanced at Rayna with a face that said 'How do you think I did?'
I ship Robert and Priscilla a lot more than I should.
I have a dock full of ships. Sadly I see that some of them seem to have holes in the bottom, but I can dream :P
Noticing that no one seemed to be burning bridges Victor relaxed a little, "Sure, I guess I can forgive you but I don't know about Victor, he's probably hurt after you offended his great captain." Victor had to raise an eyebrow at Rayna's retort and had to cover a laugh with a cough when she winked at him. Returning Rayna's food to her Victor was almost offended that she had to ask if he had her food "Of course I do, I wouldn't be doing a good job of guarding your stuff if I had left it unguarded would I? Anyway, if I can speak frankly, maybe we should avoid poking the wasp nest for a while? Give it some time let the little storm blow over and then we can repair bridges... although there is something to be said about rivalries and grudges." Returning to the lunch table Victor sat down next to Rayna and started eating. He was getting a bit annoyed since he didn't want to eat with his robotic arm, he just had to clean it later. After ten minutes of relative silence and a lesson in annoyance Rayna spoke up "Do you think that gung-ho Rampaged leader has a thing for Priscilla?" "I don't know, probably? It's interesting, but of no immediate use to us as far as I can tell." grabbing a napkin Victor started meticulously cleaning his prosthetic arm. "I'm so glad that I have Armory next, they'll have proper maintenance tools, right?" as he asked this the bell rang for the next class. Standing up Victor stretched "Well off we go. Hopefully I can fix what I need to." pausing Victor looked around and asked his teammates "Where are you all heading next?" Victor waited, not wanting to be rude and feeling that they should go together when they could.
It isn't even graffiting Jormungandr. It's the opposite. Like painting over a particularly chaotic Banksy! It was all multicoloured and fun and now it's a boring, plain, white!
If you were to join Armory class, he could just make himself a new weapon.
Armory class seems like it would be more versatile than Grimm studies. Vic needs to make some more arms I think. Edit: Also Guess, Victor is now behind Robert. Because I know the tale of Victor and his Arm isn't always instant reading material :P
