They're all cancer. It's just fucking ridiculous how so many people on the internet act like the US is ISIS x10. The US have made poor choices in war, like Hiroshima and the Vietnam Massacre, but these fucksticks are acting like the military kill people in indiscriminately. And that's not what gets me most riled up, if you live in another country and saying this shit, fine, go fuck yourself. But I see comments that people are American and saying shit like " The only just war our country took part in was the revolution." and "240 years are killing people and America right now is becoming a Nazi state. there is no freedom in America. i am not proud to be a American, because this country is based of stealing people's land and killing them. and we broke away from the UK for " freedom of religion" yet the government says you cant have your religion to or it " is mean to people".

And I know that a lot of them are saying this just to flame and cause argument and hate and shit, but goddammit if it doesn't fucking piss me off when some fucking idiot comes along and says "I'm not proud to be an American."

*Sigh* Thanks for listening to my rage filled paragraph.

Don't let it piss you off. I gave up a leg and the better years of my life to make sure they could talk that shit as much as they want.
Hey folks! I'm settling in to write my reviews, but also expecting to be interrupted at some point -- but also I realized a short while ago that I forgot to put a voting deadline into the OP, and then just now I realized that I forgot to do anything at all about that. DROPPING THE BALL!

Voting deadline is midnight on the 20th of July.
Radical feminism is like Twitter.

It only matters if you let it.

sort of. There's a few important people (notably in schools and universities) who allow shit like Tumbler 'feminism' and various other PC-overkill movements to matter in their policy. Those people are problems we should be trying to fix -- not the PC overkills themselves. We're always going to have a lunatic fringe, and no amount of counter-lunacy is going to change their minds. Screw 'em. They don't have to matter. But the folks who empower them? Those are people we can go after. And we are, and it works.
I'm not convinced that systematic oppression against anybody exists in the West. The closest we have are situations where people in impoverished areas aren't getting enough help -- but that's a far cry from the evil villain twirling his-or-her mustache and cackling as the oppressed are HELD DOWN. That shit don't happen here. Apathy is not oppression, and apathy is as close as we get. Congratulations, us!

When you have to say "If so-and-so did such-and-such then so-and-so WOULD BE _____ probably!" you're not saying anything worth hearing. I don't care.

But shitty things do happen. I personally know two guys who almost had their lives ruined by false rape accusations -- in one case, the girl was just a vindictive bitch, that was borne out in court (after the guy was taken out of school in handcuffs), and everything worked out, minus some emotional scarring. The other case, the girl was totally cool, but had already reported it because she woke up from blackout drunk and by the time she realized that he wasn't an asshole, the system already had him and she couldn't stop it (this was military-related). She actually testified in his favor at his court martial. All things considered he got out of it fairly light (as in, he got to keep his commission and what was left of his career), but the damage follows you forever.

Another guy I only met once was a straight-up rocket scientist, in a similar situation to my second example above. Lost everything and does engine maintenance now. On cars.

TLDR -- We need to figure out a better way to handle date-rape, soft harassment, and similar crimes. The system as it's set now is unfair to men, sure, but downright insulting to women -- two of the three examples I have from personal experience, the woman was told in no uncertain terms "It doesn't matter what you say now, you aren't strong enough to handle this on your own, and we don't care what you think you want, we're going to do what's in your best interest and you don't have a say in it."
I'm so excited. I'm going to become a bot fighter if it becomes a sport. The worlds first crippled bot fighter.

I got a leg up on you on that account.

See? See what I did there?
Gender and biological sex are distinct, but only in a brain-body sense. I mean, gender identity is a shadow of biological sex, hence why people who have gender-identity issues also have body-dimorphism.

But I think the issue with the modern concept of gender is that we start taking the social constructs too seriously. Because gender-identity comes with social constructs, people seem to enjoy believing that the social constructs themselves are in fact are what gender is, which doesn't quite fly. Gender is identifying emotionally with a biological sex. You can't really make new genders to fit sexes that don't exist. You can create new social constructs, and you'll hear people sometimes talk about older social constructs like they were third genders, but all in all its just a different place in the pecking order of the already existent genders, only as deep as the difference between a 'Tom girl' and a 'Girly girl'.

You know, they used to teach us just math and reading and shit in school.
That shit never happened in the Manga.
