Opposite, actually. It was the result of a compromise. I said it'd be cool to learn, he said we can work with that. If anything, I don't think he realized how much I would enjoy it until it was too late.

I needed a hobby that didn't involve my siblings, and my father wanted me to do something that could be beneficial later down the line. So, he handed me the guitar and said "learn".

Specifically guitar? I started learning when I was seven, maybe eight? It and piano. They're the classics and all.
