I was wondering, in the interests of fair play would it make sense to have a limit to how many ranked fights you can participate in, in a month?
As you get points even for losing you could potentially overtake everyone just by continuously entering battles even if you lose.

I wasn't thinking of a serious restriction, maybe like you can only begin three ranked battles a month or something, tournaments being the exception.
“I’ve given you a warning, I think you should leave now while you still can little girl. He might not let you… once he arrives.” Anna continued to stare off into the distance over Evvie’s shoulder as she gave another somewhat disturbing warning. It was fairly likely that Evvie would interpret this to mean some other person was going to enter the scene, the perpetrator of whatever crime had taken place here. However, there was no one else, nothing physical at least, only a force of darkness that was indiscriminate in its wrath.

Anna’s gaze suddenly fixed on Evvie with a sudden alertness that was probably quite disturbing, something inhuman in the hunger etched upon her near perfect features. She rose one hand and with it the water rose behind her as a thin tendril, snake-like in appearance, the serious threat she posed evident now, Evvie would have only moments to react.

“Too late.” She spat, gesturing forward with two fingers as if commanding dogs, the thin tendril of water shot towards the dragon-kin at the speed of an arrow, covering the roughly thirty feet between them in a second, the end pointed towards her centre hardened with spiritual energy and as sharp as steel.

What? Me hustle you? Why I never. . .

Also, holy cow! Melon and In might get on and exchange blows. . . woooo-hoooo! I kid, but usually Melon is beating someone senseless by this point. Seriously my fight with him he threw a building at me. . . a building.

Remember the time we fought with God tier characters and I had my character's head explode over you with hundreds of tiny soliders? Pretty sure it was the Eiffel tower he threw at you.

That was hilarious, probably the funniest fight I've ever had. Pretty sure someone tried to get me banned when I had my character attempt to eat their planet.

And yeah, hopefully I'll be able to get to the fighting now as I had a few things come up (namely essay writing presentations and lots of alcohol.)
Sorry, couldn't reply to night because of essay writing.

Hopefully I'll reply tomorrow afternoon, before I get slaughtered.

Otherwise expect it the day after that.
That'll be their issue. Trying to fight someone whom they have no idea the history for. Lol

Well presumably if that's their skill set they can take memories from your head, bit of a crap power otherwise.
I don't really write back stories unless I need to. I remember every history for my characters. As far as big events

What if you're fighting an opponent who utilizes illusions based off your character's memories :>
I wonder what would happen if Evvie retreats to the big island. Would Anna want to follow her there? If they both stick to the area of their advantage then they may end up in a staring contest that never ends.

She probably wouldn't follow her further than 100 feet from a large body of water, as that's her control range.

So it probably would turn into a staring contest.
Huh, I thought the point was it was a trick, but maybe I misunderstood. I don't really know how long it would take to move your arms around.
I'll be honest I don't watch enough boxing nor understand the technicalities of the sport well enough to guess what went wrong.

The only things I really noticed was

1. Jake was able to spot Tre was a right handed boxer.
2. He managed to avoid being hit with the left handed strike
3. He moved in on Tre with a surprise upper cut when Tre advanced (I'm guessing this was the error here, though I can only say that from what I've learned about Fencing, which is that you have to capture the position before striking, otherwise you leave yourself open to a faster attack.)

Though I was a little confused about the movements, as Tre's left handed attack wasn't actually successful in either of its two objectives, so I don't fully understand why he would have still moved forward as Rilla described it. (Which he described as taking place if the attack was successful, as far as I can tell.)

I'll be happy to see what people who understand boxing can come up with.
Interesting, the mountain surrenders herself to him, a little.

Havardr watched the young challenger drive himself up the mountain, appearing to take the added challenge of defeating the Goat King in a race to the summit very seriously. He would soon learn that to conquer the mountain took far more than speed or skill, it took an endurance that only existed in a select few. More mental determination than physical prowess, this challenge was a learning experience if nothing else. It seemed thus far he was pacing himself, which was smart, but it would not allow him to defeat the King.

The King of the Mountain Goats began to stride up the mountain behind his foe, his feet nimbly finding footholds where his opponent had to clamber on all fours. It took him a surprising amount of time to catch him and then pass him on the mountain, he had made it a long way without quite understanding the nature of the challenge. Havardr skipped up another large span of steep earth, the wind biting behind him but causing him little discomfort. Then, he felt the tremor, and knew that the mountain was angry. It was to produce the worst of its torments soon enough, but would the intruder piece together its warnings before it was too late?

The snow began to fall soon after, falling fast with the wind behind it with the makings of a blizzard. It was going to be a difficult climb.
