Someone with earth powers would be pretty skilled at fighting a tank and pound them from underneath, but building characters just to fight certain characters is a dangerous game.

They could probably immobilize it, though they would presumably be within range of the cannon and blown to pieces, plus tanks can move pretty fast, probably faster than most of the characters here actually.
Tier Level
Unsuited: 3 or Low Powered
Suited: 4 or Mid Powered

I assume players can jump onto the tank and open it up like Chewie does to the AT-STs from Star Wars. Can we also assume the doors would be able to be broken into with a well place sword into some gap? Or that's probably assuming to much.

I think Hollywood is probably responsible for the myth that a tank can be accessed so easily, especially modern day tanks. They're more like mobile bunkers.

You've also somehow dodged the 50. machine gun that would probably be putting large holes in your chest as you do that, of course.

Hell, modern day tanks can't even destroy other modern day tanks. The Americans lost one of their tanks to the terrain once and couldn't even blow it up themselves to deny it to the enemy.
Melon, I have two rounds one is a fireball/dragons breath and the other is an incendiary round. They both do in effect the same thing, the only difference is that the fireball has a longer stream range.

That looks incredibly painful.

Weird they didn't set the trees on fire though.
The rounds only last for a few seconds at most unless they touch something that can be easily set ablaze, and by easily I mean dried kindling easy. Dragon's breath are mostly to cause damage to property and occasionally someone unlucky.

Dragon's breath was probably the ones I meant, I was quoting from memory and I only had the one look earlier.

I appreciate you insulting me again Tuujaimaa, it was a figure of speech, though if you genuinely believe any of the other characters here can penetrate a modern day tank then you're the one who's 'naive'.
I suppose the only system that will work in the long term without the need for resets (though why you would discount resets I don't know, as almost every leaderboard system in sport and the like relies on it to keep things interesting.) is something where the amount of points are finite, with no new points (other than new people entering the leaderboards) being introduced, and where the winner gains the losers points in some fashion, somehow linked to how many points they had in the first place.

Someone who's better at math will have to work it out.
Unless I completely abandon physics (which does seem to be the case if we're slowing bullets down.) then physically there just isn't anyone here with a weapon that can pierce the armour of the mech. To adjust the mech to a level where people could fight it with swords would also require a complete abandonment of logic and reason, because swords just can't cut through the armour of vehicles designed with modern day firepower in mind.

Even with magic there isn't really anyone who can come close, as the most destructive of magics at this tier only tend to be effective against organic opponents, and to use magic that could produce enough force to come close to piercing the armour of even a pretty shit tank would essentially mean you could kill any other character here in one hit.

Your best bet (and it's still pretty hopeless) would be some sort of magic that exploits its relatively cumbersome size, or a very quick character that can outrun its turning circle, though even then that's only if we're discounting the fact that the anti-material rifle could have put a hole through your body before you even saw it.

With all this in mind, I'll just be making another super-powered fleshy for the grinder, though I'm pretty sure they'll be incinerated by Skallagrim's incendiary rounds if I happen to be unlucky enough to get matched against him. Those things are like half again hotter than a flamethrower, everyone is fucked.
I won't use the battlemech here, I was just making a point. I don't think anyone's characters (save maybe Skallagrim's firebased weaponry, if used very carefully) has a chance of even scratching the armour of a tank.

I'll probably enter a different character on the lower end of 'powered' as I prefer that level myself.
I agree with that, I just think that the entry specifications are incredibly vague.

Looking at it, your modern character Skallagrim will be more than a match for most if not all of the characters here in anything other than the most unfavourable conditions.

Modern technology is arguably better than any magic, and if you don't believe me look up some specs for the average MBT, my character's mech is actually less powerful in terms of armour and firepower.

Is a tank higher than mid tier? lol.
