Yeah, I'll enter with Anna, should be interesting as she's so environment dependent.
Brennus watched his spear point be effectively blocked by his opponent’s heavy armour and nodded to himself. As expected, the armour was too thick to be penetrated by a single-handed spear thrust, leaving him with fewer options for getting past his opponent’s guard.

Still, the strike had knocked the Spartan off balance and he had dropped to the floor momentarily, scrabbling for his spear. Brennus had no intention of allowing him to escape from such a strange manoeuvre without at least bleeding a little, which was why he immediately pressed, his spear already dragged back a few paces after his initial strike was repelled.

The Spartan was facing him now, but preparing to rise with his spear, which Brennus expected he would immediately swing. Unfortunately, the smaller reach of the Spartan’s weapon was to count against him again, as Brennus was out of its range while within his own weapons range, allowing him to thrust safely at the inside of the Spartan’s right thigh, aiming to cut along its side rather than pierce into the thick muscle.

Brennus thrust, following the ordinary manoeuvres for such a movement, yelling with the explosive energy of his attack.
He’s right, I should be chasing him down and breaking his jaw while he wastes his breath yammering on at me Fury thought darkly. The Fireen looked unperturbed by his damaged armour as he had turned to face his opponent after his act of acrobatics. Though his brow was furrowed, the first sign of his temper flaring, the Fireen was still in relative control by some extreme act of willpower. Kanitah was picking up on his restraint, not realising that telling him to fight properly was probably not in his best interests, the Unbridled rage of the Void being an almost unstoppable force, and one Fury detested using except in the most extreme circumstances. There was still a touch of Manadar behind the shell of Fury and the soul of the Void.

Fury put his personal problems aside. He had come too far to back out of the fight with Kanitah now, which left him few options, either to kill him or beat him to the point where he couldn’t oppose Fury in the future. Fury noted his defensive stance and briefly considered launching energy glaives to cut the cocky warrior in two, abandoning the plan as he considered his finite and slowly dwindling energy reservoirs. His eyes narrowed as he took in the distance separating them, it was time he had a bite to eat.

Fury shifted back into a kick-boxing stance after closing the distance between them to about six feet, provided Kanitah hadn’t moved that is, in which case he would have gone on the defensive. He would then promptly circle Kanitah from outside his range, moving quickly behind him to strike low with an outside Ilyushin to his left knee with whatever leg was most suitable, targeting either the back front or side of the knee depending on the smaller warrior’s response.

What are the qualifications for a fight to need a judge?

If you want a ranked fight that will count towards you gaining points for this threads leader-board, you need a judge. That's all.

Being specifically designed to resist heat is troublesome for my heat based character to fight. I don't mind loosing battles but it would be best if we did a nonranked if you want this matchup.

There's a significant difference between armour that is heat resistant and armour that is immune to lava.

It will still melt under sustained damage, you can't really expect more than that, unless you expect your opponent to be unresistant to fire in which cause they will literally just melt and die instantly from the powers your character is using.

I don't really have any high tier characters suitable other than Higan for fighting a character with strafing-run proof armour and lava attacks.
My character had to step closer to reach your character's body with the spear, so the point is only just in range of him, when your character avoids the spear he then pulls his spear back ready for another strike (this is the point where your kick would miss, because you're essentially racing the point of a spear which is incredibly quick) and moves in close to make up the distance your character makes by backflipping.

It's less my characters arms that need to be fast and rather the very end of a spear, which is incredibly quick.
impossible, they haven't even seen eachother in order to start looking longingly at eachother
Saanga might be fun to use and fight against but he's pretty powerful. Guess it's good that you're fine fighting a loosing battle. MWAHAHAHAHA!

I'll fight that character with

Unless he's too strong for you, in which case I may just use Anna again.
Is it bad to say, that I patiently waited two weeks after my 21st birthday for a day off so that I would have a full day to recover from getting shitfaced?

Because that's what I did.

Just never go to bed and do whatever the next day, such are the lessons of University.
Well, if you want me to have the advantage name one and I'll issue the challenge with one of my characters, but it would probably benefit you to challenge me as you get to pick the battle.

Hell choose the arena as well if you want, I'm so bored I'll fight a losing battle for the thrill of it.
