fighting Skally is probably the most fun I've had in an arena bout. i've never beaten him in a straight up match, so statistically, I can't beat him. but it doesn't ever stop me from trying.

including Worren vs Skallagrim. in what was probably one of our early bouts.

In other words, don't be afraid, the worst that's gonna happen is that you're gonna lose. and that's for literally any fight you get in here.

I heard if Skallagrim beats you he banishes you to the shadow realm or something like that.
By GM'ing and punching you in the face!

So, in theory, could THAT energy be afflicted to adversely affect Fury?

Only if it were a specific spell -maybe- but Fury absorbs energy in a pure form, so there isn't any conventional way to hurt him with it, you just have to avoid his touch.
Also looking forward to it, how will Alphonse escape my next dastardly attack?
so, it's not mana energy, but physical energy as in people's ability to get up in the morning(or Khan's ability to post on a regular basis? lol)

Yes, however the way I see mana energy is someone's personal store of unspecified energy, which is converted into magical effects, this can be drained at the same time as the energy they use to move their muscles for example.
Rilla and I have been talking, so I am asking. Who doesn't want to fight me in a ranked match? Be honest, if you don't want to face me at least have the courage to admit it.

You don't have many characters I'd want to fight, I confess. I've fought Freedom twice in the past, so that would be boring. Skallagrim I'm saving for the finale of Fury's story, and your other characters don't fit very well with the characters I'm currently looking for fights with.

However, I might be interested in fighting your Hunter Elf and Viking with Adrian and Sigurd respectively in the future, and possibly your soldier character with Jok, though it's not necessarily a great match-up despite their similar tech level. For some reason your character's just don't seem to quite match up nicely with any of my own, they tend to be slightly stronger than my best match-up, for example.

Fury < Skallagrim
Sigurd < Kolskegg (probably butchered, working off memory)
Jok < Soldier Dude

Adrian is also somewhat weaker than your elf that can turn into a Wolf, though I think it would still be the most entertaining match-up, so it might happen when he's free from the Alphonse fight.

Can assimilate all energy, or can be energy poisoned, so to speak?

Aye?

If you're asking if Fury can be poisoned with energy, Khan seems to think so. I refute his claims though, as energy works on a different system in his own universe (in actuality, it just works in the fashion it works in real life and physics, with energy simply changing forms, but having no actual harmful qualities in the form Fury absorbs it.)

It's easy to mix up what Fury does with a mana draining ability or some-such, which takes someone's specific type of magical energy, as opposed to the physics version, which is limited to certain rules and can't really be 'poisoned'.
I think they'd sit around in old-timey bars drinking and moaning about the disappointment of eternal life.
I think Monty and the Tired Old Gun would be friends.
Minor discrepancy between my reference picture and the current situation, my Mech is holding its giant sniper rifle in its left hand and its right has the chain gun + a free hand, this is opposite to the picture, but as I've posted it as such in IC we'll just roll with the IC situation.
“A frontal charge? Well, shit.”

Higan considered his options with the lightning fast consideration of an experienced soldier. His target now had some sort of shield to protect himself with and was coming in fast, obviously aiming to close the gap for some sort of melee engagement. Higan’s Mech wasn’t exactly equipped with some big sword or some other ridiculous close range weapon, so he didn’t particularly want to face his opponent at close range.

However, what the Mech had was superb mechanical strength.

His foe had some impressive skills, but Higan had no reason to suspect he could physically overcome the Mech, with modern engineering and metallic bulk on its side. Instead of pulling back then, like he would have if he was facing a larger Mech variant back home, he simply met the charge head on. The shield bash was an attack which worked well in the far gone past because it gave the advantage to the one of greater size and momentum, but neither of those advantages were to be had in this engagement, the Mech ruled in this regard.

The Mech charged, and as they met and clashed the shield battered against its right arm as Higan manoeuvred it into a wide sweeping backhand, slamming into the large object with impressive strength, the hand twisted as it passed the shield and the fingers of the right hand dug in, aiming to wrench the shield from Saanga’s hand, or throw him with it if he tried to match the strength of the Mech and hold on.
