I like the idea that Kanitah is talking to Fury to distract him as his slowly shuffles away, like something out of a cartoon.
This is your chance to show off all your fancy sword skill-shit, though it you cut both of Adrian's arrows in half mid-flight he's likely to cut his losses and run for the hills, or cave, in his case.
I had misread again, though, if you were that would be fairly dope. I apologize for that, having just went back to read it again and all. Next time, double arrow that shit archer extraodinaire, it'll justify my predicted sunlight off the blade technique I hide away just for vampires, and ironically, paparazzi.

Though, it makes my defense easier when I post.

I just read something on the dutch archer that was fast, apparently he wasn't as accurate as he made it seem, and its speculated there was tons of edited footage to cut out the misses, so to speak

I suspect so, but there is some historical evidence to suggest holding arrows in your hand while firing was a legitimate tactic used, especially by Mongols and other horse-archer nations. Regardless, considering the range it probably wouldn't effect a Vampire's accuracy.

The main legitimate complaint against that dude is that his bow is weak as shit, something like four times weaker than an average war-bow. Though once again Adrian's super strength would compensate for that, so this is roughly accurate.

I should have given Adrian the duel-shot ability, rek shit with that Robin Hood swag yo.
@MelonHead Yeah, celcius. It gets up to 34, 35 sometimes.

And humidity is bad here. Nothing worse than hot, stuffy weather.

I live in Asia, by the way .

Yeah I noticed, that's why I reconsidered saying 'you don't know man!' because your weather is in some ways similar to Britain in terms of irritatingly wet and hot sometimes, and cold and terrible at other times.

The main issue for us is that we're just never ready though, our houses are built to keep heat in because it's cold more often than warm, so we're never in a comfortable climate.
There you go, he's holding both arrows in his hand Lars Anderson style now, and if you read I only said he had the arrow prepared in that time, so essentially he's just drawn the second arrow back by the time the first has landed, somewhere.

That O.K with you? Considering Adrian is four times the speed of a human, and Lars can fire three arrows in 1.5 seconds using this method.
I'm curious as to how Adrian can draw, hook, and fire off two arrows in as quick a span as Adrian just did if there isn't even a complete way of dodging your previous attack from a distance three feet greater? By your post, you essentially shot them both off, right after each other, in the span of a tenth of a second or less.

Hmm, if you'd allow me to make a slight adjustment I can make that more realistic, hold on.
@MelonHead 30 degrees is normal round the year temperatures where I'm from.

*Celsius, btw

It just hit midnight bruh, it's not the cool sort of heat.

You probably know actually, how's humidity where you're from? That's what gets you.
OH NO WE'RE BEING FORCED TO USE OUR IMAGINATIONS

Heh, it's weird but I've never really thought about how I imagine fights going down like movies (with a shit-load of pauses and jump-starts)

Though I've made my self burst out laughing a lot imagining some of the shit I got up to in that stupid God Battle. I suppose everyone has the right to enjoy their own sense of humour.

The wonders of imagination.

This might be it for me btw, England just hit 30 degrees and I'm fairly certain my house must be melting.
Because he could have ended up being anything, you know how people make up races, that are wholly similar to known races - often all the perks none of the consequences.

Perhaps, but by all accounts you've discovered he's a vampire because you can sense he has a seduce ability, now, I'm not a detective, but I feel like the earlier evidence is far more useful in discerning his nature. From just that piece of evidence he's more likely to be an Incubus or something, in which case he has far weirder plans for Alphonse.

Also I've decided to just continue to pew-pew you.

I'm excited for the inevitable sunlight-reflect-off-blade attack, gunna be cool, Adrian should really get some sunglasses.
The arrow loosed from his bow, specks of blood falling in its wake as it cut its deadly path towards the swordsman’s unprotected back. That should have been it, game over, hunt complete…

Something subtle in the way Alphonse moved told Adrian that the impossible was about to happen just before it actually happened. He was used to animals doing something similar, their bodies stiffening as they caught the scent of the hunter just before the arrow was loosed, giving them that slim chance to survive. Alphonse was apparently embracing his inner hare, because he too had sensed the hunter and now with an impressive burst of speed and agility he was avoiding his death by a hairs-breadth. Adrian began to consider how this was possible, but further evaluation had to be put on hold briefly.

The arrow-head shattered as it hit the tree, one of the traits of obsidian tipped arrows, potentially splattering the swordsman with sharp shards of rock as a reminder of how close he had come to finding himself on the end of the arrow. Adrian snarled as he saw all this happen in quick-time, his reflexes far beyond any human, he stopped himself with a single over-step, leaving him perhaps eighteen feet from his now stationary foe. Simultaneous to stopping he reactively dropped his right hand to his hip-quiver and nimbly drew another two arrows, unfortunately without time to spare to poison the head. Adrian hadn’t had much time to evaluate his prey as of yet, but what he had quickly discerned was that he seemed to be using an eastern sword, probably a Katana though Adrian hadn’t seen one for a fairly long time. The assassin in him was keenly aware of his own limitations, and what fights to pick. Getting into close combat with a Katana was likely to get his head separated from his shoulders, considering the range disadvantage he faced with only a short-sword and dagger at hand.

With all this in mind another arrow was once again nocked to the string, with another arrow held loose in his right hand, the Vampire more than happy to try and even the playing field by first inhibiting the swordsman’s ability to fight with an arrow wound. Alphonse was likely to rush him, considering there was still a clear line of sight between the two between three trees, through which Adrian had fired his first arrow. The swordsman would find himself in trouble this time though, Adrian knew his capabilities, and his limitations.

He fired again, at about the same time the swordsman had managed to enter a defensive stance, aiming for his foe’s right thigh a little off to his right hand side. It was an awkward position to block an arrow, even with a shield, though his opponent had already proved capable enough to actually reliably defend against arrows with his sword alone. This in itself was amazing to the Vampire, though he wasn’t one to show it.

However, Adrian wasn’t quite finished as he speedily nocked the second arrow as his first took flight, having it prepared at about the same moment his opponent would be forced to deal with the first attack. The second would come immediately after, exploiting the defence to increase the likelihood of a successful attack, this time launching an arrow at Alphonse’ chest, aiming to perforate his left lung. He would see if the swordsman could match the speed of a Vampiric Hunter’s arrows.
