Fury charged, and Kanitah moved with him, causing Fury to launch into his pre-planned slide across the ground. Surprisingly his alien opponent had decided to launch himself off the ground, but Fury had the foresight to raise his energy glaive up into the air as he slid harmlessly underneath the flying man. The effect of this was that the sharp energy-crafted weapon would be drawn into Kanitah’s path potentially cutting whatever side of him was facing the ground as they met, aided by the significant momentum both warriors were carrying, it could very well open him up, or it might get stuck in his body and wrenched out of Fury’s hand. Regardless, Fury was coming out of what could have been a dangerous collision with no noticeable injuries and potentially doing catastrophic damage to his opponent, mostly due to luck and his original plan of sliding. His own momentum would carry him about ten feet across the ground, after which he would roll and push himself onto his feet to judge the damage he had caused, if any.
Yeah, to be fair my character has little in the ways of hurting Melon's water wraith and unlike everybody else's character here Alicia isn't that smart to quickly figure out alternatives.
Yet I don't complain, neither at the possibility of Khan "no-selling" my energy attacks by his fire defense.
It gives me things to struggle with and overcome in a style fitting my character.
...Or fail trying.

The only thing we need to keep in mind that regardless of the flowery text and descriptions on our abilities, all fighters should be roughly equal.
The only differences are on what we put our focus and exactly what kind of abilities we have.

I was under the impression your character had attacks with a burning effect and lazer beam explosives, which is two of Anna's many weaknesses, I can't quite fathom how you can possibly fail to see your options. Your complaints about fire would be ridiculously uncomparable to my own complaints, your character is still inherently superhuman without her magic, mine can't even lift her own body weight. I don't really need to justify it though, it's so obvious its barely worth arguing.
Yes I know Melon but what prevents you from having ice as part of your battle ground? Ice flows accelerated by a current of water can be a powerful tool.

Waste of energy and flexibility, my character would have to concentrate on melting the Ice to move it around, save in a second hand fashion by pushing at it with water, which would be slow and easily avoided as building up water pressure also takes time to charge.
There's so many creative ways to bypass the great coat really, but I used to run with wraiths so maybe it's easier for me to think of them. Apparently creativity is not wanted in the arena.

Can you stop being so rude all the time? I just wanted the properties of the armour clarified before the battle began, because its qualities were badly described in my opinion, and considering Rilla asked the same questions the issue was obviously not only limited to me. I don't really care if you have an ability to negate my only form of attack, I'm just critical of a character entered after the others were revealed that happens to hard counter my own.

For the record, my character can't manipulate Ice.

Also, can everyone stop being so cocky and annoying, I think my record speaks for itself, the fact that I'm critical should be in no way a slight upon my ability, be assured I will kick the living shit out of you if I feel like putting my mind to it, though I rarely do. I'm bored of this, when Rilla returns I have no further complaints so he can start this up whenever he's ready. Just know that I won't be pulling any punches in the slightest.

Must be new to the arena, a single prepped attack would cut right through it...

Never mind that Torder can't bleed out possessing no heartbeat, it's limb cutting that's the problem. Which the armor can't counter.

Having armour impervious to anything but a charged attack is a huge advantage, as it does not require any charging or thought at all to work, it essentially gives you a save for any mistake you make while not requiring you to sacrifice anything as it's basically weightless.
You've reduced the effectiveness of your armour, but it is still the equivalent of wearing a 25 inch steel body suit and you haven't really explained if it has the same properties as Kevlar, you've just made some abstract points about blunt damage still being effective (which seems like a relatively unimportant weakness, your characters main weakness being that he dies if he bleeds out, and the armour completely protects you from being shot or cut in its current form.

And also the magic nullifying shield which unfortunately completely negates my characters abilities.

Like I said though, if Rilla and the others think the match-up is now fair I'm happy to go.
That's fine, thanks for being understanding.
Damn, I had a feeling I'd made a typo I meant to attack the left leg, which is why my character repositioned himself, it made no sense to attack the back foot. This is unranked, so I'd prefer to correct the typo and let you adjust your defence accordingly.

You can tell what I had in mind when I said 'take advantage of the shield on the wrong side of her body' it wouldn't be on the wrong side if he'd attacked her right leg.
The issue still exists, but ultimately only Rilla can actually drop the hammer on it, if he thinks its all legit I'll accept his statement and we can fight and shit.
Any reluctance to fight in his usual unrelenting style had passed now as Fury reconciled the two sides of his character, or rather they had aligned for a short period of time. He cut short his kick as Kanitah flew out of his range and instead pushed off the earth with his right foot in an explosive energy driven stride forward. As he moved his left hand was somewhat behind his body, glowing blue as he manifested one of his most dangerous energy weapons. The energy glaive, as he called it, began to materialize even as he continued to pursue Kanitah, though he was quickly cut short by the explosive landing of the smaller man. The force knocked him back, almost off his feet, but he used his abilities as a sort of stabilizing agent and instead slid backwards about ten feet instead.

The energy glaive kept building in his left hand even as he stopped his backwards momentum and re-asserted his forward momentum with a similar energy step. Charging towards Kanitah again he was prepared to react in two ways depending on his opponent’s movements, but if neither came to pass something different would occur. Should Kanitah still be stationary Fury would close the distance between them before suddenly jumping into the air about five feet from Kanitah’s position, moving too fast to be conceivably caught even by the trained warrior. However if Kanitah moved and closed on him Fury would instead slide low at the last moment and collide with Kanitah’s feet. Fury was relying on the unexpected and unorthodox nature of both attacks to see them through, because for now he was outclassed.
