Ya, cloth armor may be lighter, but it's crap against Bludgeoning force. I don't know why Melon is the only person on the site who thinks my coat is plate armor. :K

Are you somehow saying that plate armour negates all physical force? I'm fairly certain it just prevents attacks from piercing or cutting through the armour, the blunt force is reduced by padded clothing underneath. So I'd say your cloak armour is pretty damn similar. The bane of plate armour ultimately was bullets and maces, bullets can pierce the metal where-as they wouldn't pierce your cloak, a mace is as effective against them as either or. The fact that everyone in this fight is restricted to swords however essentially makes the cloak all the more powerful. My character will have to contend with his using brute strength, because someone like IN's character using small darting strikes and cuts won't have a chance at piercing his armour.

My issue with the cloak is that while it serves all the functions of actual plate armour it has none of the limitations, and can even stop bullets.
Yesterday was busy so I didn't get much chance to update this.

Hmm, two things. For IN, I'm OK with your character for the most part, some oddly specific abilities, but nothing I can't roll with, and I assume DJ is fine with it as well. Though I would feel better if you used T1 for your character, in which you abilities needed prep time to enact, as it is there's nothing I can see stopping her from jumping back from one ability to the next in no time at all. I know some come with self-debuffs but preps are a better system for balancing multiple activatable abilities/magic.

Just add at least one or two perps to use a spirit should balance the character out fine.

Aaand, I'm not even sure I want to touch Judgement's sheet with a five foot pole. Super strength, OK, super durability, well fine Tank, sure sure. Super speed and agility!! Lightening bruiser, glass cannon, tank in full plate with near immunity to all preternatural effects. Maybe I'll let Vordak look it over, cause at this point he seems even stronger than General Freedom.

Judgement was made for T1, any specific measurement I've listed is his strongest form of around T8, which he isn't at.

His strength is half again whoever his strongest opponent is if he's fighting anyone particularly strong, his armour is strong but as you've mentioned yourself preps can pierce it, 100mph isn't that significant as a straight sprinting speed at this tier, especially with average car acceleration. No such thing as immunity, no magical offensive abilities from anything past the range he can stab someone at, seems balanced enough to me.

As far as I can tell it's fairly common for big bruiser characters to have a fairly fast sprinting speed, because strength is directly linked to muscles, allowing you to propel yourself quickly forward, and without being able to close on your opponent you have no other way of attacking. I'm not sure exactly where you got the super reflexes from, nothing mentioning Jugement being particularly agile, which he is of course not, plate armour has literal physical constraints that one can do nothing about, such as restricting ones freedom of movement in the arms and legs.

To make things easier, I'll edit his sheet to show his physical characteristics for this exact fight.

Dunno how the hell you can complain anyway, you're still toting your fucking OP cloak. All the protection of my armour with none of the limitations, seven times the strength of an ordinary man, fast and agile, shit load of undead death spells, shit load of defensive and offensive spells, death sword etc etc.
Alright, I'm fine as well. Once Khan says he's happy as well we can start, whoever wants to post first can go for it, then we'll alternate based off teams.
Hmm. Yeah this looks unranked to me, my bad I assumed because you asked for a judge it was ranked, I'll still look over any disputes if you want, but you don't need a judge.

Yeah, I see that yall have been wagering in the hand-rolled system you've been using so far in the Arena.

I'm not sure just yet how wagering would work for the system I'm building into the forum, so I cut it til further notice.

At the moment the wagering works on a fight by fight basis, the fighters are putting up some of their points at a risk to them but also a greater reward. Would it be possible to make it so a specific fight can be adjusted to give a greater bonus to the winner equal to how many points the loser will lose?
Wait, did you tag this fight as Romance? Lol.

Anyway, if everyone is happy with everyone else' characters then I guess we can just start off the fight (with obligatory introductions). What sort of post order are we looking at?

Cool, looks like everything is going well.

Though a new system will have to added for wager fights if we continue to use them in this system at least as far as I can tell.
I'll judge if need be.
Well in other news, would anyone like to fite me?

Yeah I'm also too busy or I'd have already picked you up on the challenge.
