It's stuff like this with people charging normal attacks, or even a rock off the ground, that mutates the prep tier of fights. :K

Well, it's still a 'prepared' attack, though I could argue that the preparation was interrupted by having a glaive launched at you.
Kanitah's strong and all, but that dirt ball is still a ball of dirt. It takes immense pressure and heat to crystallise dirt into rock, something you don't have in the time it took Fury to get up and throw his discus. It might hurt some, but not that much, it's just dirt.
Floating hands are very effective, I've found it incredibly easy to defeat opponents with controllable attacks of that form.
Anna stood stark still on the dark, featureless, terrain. After a short period of time three others had joined her, and one had even been polite enough to greet the Wraith initially with a tip of her hat, she regarded him tearfully and almost smiled, but her anger was greater. These three had to be a part of whatever nefarious plot had dragged her to this place, and she had to stand outside of her watery place which was making her even madder. One of the two other females was saying something and she said it in such a way that the implication came through, even if the words were undecipherable to the Wraith. Her eyes furrowed in irritation.

Finally the last of the three, a pretty younger girl who Anna had more sympathy for than the older swaggering woman, introduced herself. Anna smiled at her, her eyes still red-rimmed but briefly lighting up with happiness.

“I’m Anna, I’m pleased to meet you.” She said, her words tinged with a light Irish accent. They weren’t really stood at a comfortable speaking distance, none of them were, so Anna began to walk closer to her so they could talk.

Actually I do those most of the time. Though in this case I mentioned the river where I normally wouldn't, it pays to be mindful of your surroundings as they can help or hurt you. That's how Melon got stabbed in the back once.

By a floating hand my character could realistically do nothing about, I should add.

Sigurd was always doomed in that tournament.
Actually that's just how Khan tends to write, he always tries to tell his opponents what they can and can't do :d

I sometimes do the same though, but usually as a description of what sort of avenues the attack is -meant- to cut off.
Well, I'll make my post under the assumption we're all on the empty blob then? I thought Rilla would choose the first Arena it morphed into for one.
I ran into a large problem while scanning over the many characters people use in the Arena.

Me and Rilla share a character image. What would be recommended in this situation?

Fight to the death, winner stays on, no more duplicates, case closed.

Honestly it depends on the picture.
You know the Angar-Rylla actively hunt down Dreamers, going as far as burning worlds hoping to elicit a response.

And Fury is riding on one of their flag-ships like a boss, waving a flaming torch around.
Oh, also, one of the canon lore will be the Anger-Rylla having created a multiverse wide translation system to ease the assimilation of new conquered territory. Hence we will understand each other.

WITH SCIENCE!

It would make sense if they'd distributed low cost translators to a wide area of the galaxy.

1. So people could choose to be impossible to understand just because of how remote they are.

2. More realistic.

At least, under the assumption that you're talking about some magic aura they're dispersing which makes everyone speak English, if you mean translators in a physical sense then that sounds good.
