Anna looked at the younger girl quizzically as she approached, finding it odd that she was just standing there gormlessly. The Wraith assumed she was just overcome by the gravity of the situation, though her brow began to furrow in irritation, even if she was a young woman Anna didn’t like being ignored, if it had been one of the others she probably would have decapitated them. She turned to them now, standing roughly in the middle of the group as she had walked forward and into their paths in her wish to speak with the now paralysed girl.

She caught the glance of the older, angrier looking woman in strange attire glaring at the tall man. She didn’t really understand why she was angry, after all the only one with any real cause for anger right then was Anna, dragged from the river twice now in quick succession.

“What am I doing here?” Anna chimed in suddenly, her voice lilted slightly with a growing anger. “Which of you brought me to this place?” She immediately stared at the angry woman, though usually the tall man would have been her initial suspect he had been polite to her thus far and had alleviated her suspicion. Water dripped from her frayed white dress and began to coalesce at her feet in a small puddle, which remained oddly stationary on the strange surface they found themselves upon.
I was just wondering, what the hell does the sky/ceiling look like where we are? So many unanswered questions.
So, this is good, almost double over the limit, I think I'll just post now.
You ever slide face first on concrete after getting run off the road, on your bike, by a speeding asshole? Because that happened to me yesterday. And it's the second time that I've been run off the road by a speeding asshole on my bike.

My face got fucked up pretty bad.

No, it's happened to at least three of my friends who ride though, hence why I'm never riding a motorbike. They fall off way too often for my liking.
Don't think grand scale. Think selfish reasons. If we were to always think grand scale, no ones characters would really match right. Typically, no one is that black and white. While the cause might be good, doesn't mean the character's intentions and goals are. I'm not really sure about the whole recruit for storyline thing though. I mean, if you are wanting to essentially cause war, then the main reason for people joining one side or the other isn't usually for the goal, but for protection, money, personal gain, revenge, to get away from the other side, etc. You shouldn't force something when it can flow so naturally by itself.

I don't really understand what you're talking about, has someone suggested everyone is going to be forcibly recruited into factions? Other than me mentioning it was one of -many- ways you could engage a weak character with the multiverse.

Hell, you could just go to the HQ if you want to be neutral.
Well, considering wherever you start you weren't mentioned in Jok's immediate observation of his surroundings, you should probably be out of vision range, other than that it doesn't matter to me.
Fury’s right fist impacted with Kanitah in a crashing impact that sent the smaller warrior flying, at which point he unleashed his counter which seemed to involve a lot of flailing. Despite the relatively ineffective nature of kicking without anything to push off or any stability what-so-ever, Kanitah’s sheer strength advantage forced Fury to pull back rather than completing his combination. The end result was that Kanitah was able to flail all the way to the ground, where he would inevitably crash into the earth.

The Fireen’s eyes narrowed as he pursued his foe to the ground, waiting for the moment when his foe’s momentum would drive him into the earth with a predatory glare. Considering he was spinning out of control on the way down it was unlikely he’d be catching himself, so Fury intended to capitalise on his disadvantage and pursue him, dropping down quickly after the warrior only a second behind him as the earth leapt up to embrace him. If he had been more adept with his energy abilities he might have been able to finish Kanitah then, but his options were limited and so once again he relied on brute force, ploughing down directly on top of Kanitah with an armoured boot to the spine or face, depending on how Kanitah landed. It was a potentially risky move, but Kanitah was disadvantaged so Fury was hoping he’d have significant time to land and drive his falling momentum into the already stricken man.
I'm not entirely sure it's fair for you to be charging attacks already Khan, as I can't realistically attack this turn due to having no idea what position your characters are in, particularly Dj's.
I don't know if Skallagrim ever got around to it (he was working with you on it wasn't he Khan?) but I'd like to see the Angar Rylla more fleshed out if possible, I feel like they're pretty important. Or at least, they can be, as they fill an important role.

Funny that Fury is still affiliated with them and I have no idea what they're really about, I think that would probably be Fury's feelings about the matter as well 'Don't care, ride spaceship, kill Dreamer'.
I'd have used the Roman Empire as example as well, but they tended to burn down settlements pillage the hell out of their enemies who defied them. >.>

Actually maybe the Steel Brotherhood would be a nice fit for a comparison.

From what I gathered the Brotherhood of Steel is isolationist, traditionalist and strongly linked with hoarding weapons for the wastelander's 'own good', so I wouldn't say they're all that similar. The Roman Empire might be a better comparison though, as the Angar Rylla are all about assimilation and acquiring important resources (even if they're sentient) in order to establish control over what they would probably consider Barbarians.
