The Angar Rylla empire are no more evil than the red coats of the British Empire.

I think it would be more accurate to say the soldiers of the Angar Rylla are no more evil than the red coats of the British Empire, there's a significant distinction there between policy makers, or the political entity of an Empire, and the people who fight for it. Ultimately, the British Empire was a self serving one, willing to sacrifice people's who were unable to fight back for material gain. That's not all that dissimilar from the Angar Rylla, and its definitely not a moral thing to do from any standpoint. Even if the end goal of both Empire's (control and assimilation) may actually lead to peace and prosperity, the means don't necessarily justify the ends in either example.

Funny how well they work in comparison, I suppose the British Empire's maritime strategy is applicable to theoretical space empire mumbo-jumbo.
What I'm interested in seeing is if actions committed by a human might garner their attention, both unwanted and if desired.

I suppose you have to consider things from a bigger picture stand-point. Yes, impressive acts as a human might garner the interest of a recruiter from the Angar Rylla, perhaps giving you the opportunity to join the evil space empire. But ultimately, there's only so much a human can do, and usually your actions will be fairly insignificant as a person in the grand scheme of things. When you have storylines where planets are blown up and galaxies are fought over, winning a battle on a planet or overthrowing an evil King or something is pretty small scale.

(For example, I'd never bother introducing Brennus to the Multiverse, and even Sigurd only had one brief encounter due to the WOTW tournament, where he had one small dialogue with the Liason. I may however introduce the Ramor, who are just now discovering rifts on their homeworld which is allowing all sorts of weird shit in.)

Still, you can always discuss it with people.

Also, I think a log would be a good idea, where everyone may have a single post which they update with important Lore regarding their roster in the multiverse with the OP being reserved for grand scale multiverse events and factions. It would be interesting to look back and see what sort of continuity has been constructed so far.

Sorry to keep everyone waiting another day, had some weird-ass family trouble and I've only been able to access the internet properly now, which feels too late for a post where I have to do some research on Greatsword guards and whatnot, which I know little about.
This is extremely interesting. I'm already lining up a few concepts, for example, if I can emerge victorious in my current fight. Have the higher level characters ever taken interest in lower entities for their abilities?

Well, The Clockwork Man won the Nexus of Worlds tournament, and received the ability to move through space and time as a reward from the Dreamers, so if your accolades are high enough (or you just ask someone with a higher tier character you're interested in nicely) anything is possible.

I'm extremely interested in becoming involved in this multiverse. It does seem, however, that the major participants are powerful characters. I myself am hoping to start with a low character and see him grow through character interaction. The difficulty I am running into is how to grow when all of the RP is battle oriented. Am I able to fill gaps in the timeline, thus enhancing my character, or should I do this through other means?

It's your timeline, you can fill it in however you want. Combat could be considered turning points in your character's history, where-as everyday events can be worked out outside of the Arena. For example, a lot of Fury's backstory was just worked out between me and Skallagrim in OOC chat. Ultimately it's up to you.
Thanks. I'm more of a lurker though. Prolly won't have time to commit to the RP itself. Like talking about it though.

As a side-note I intended to be a straight-laced conventional soldier that specifically hunts hollows/immortals using conventional tactics, good intel and the element of surprise.

Shame, I'd have found it interesting to interact with such a character, or fight them, depending on the scenario.
I like how spears, staves and polearms seem to be the preferred melee accessory. It always seemed strange to me when people would willingly fight monsters with swords.

Well, emphasis on accessory, or secondary as a more appropriate term, at least for most people.

The logic of melee weapons in the apocalypse

Ammo tends to be expensive or scarce
Weapons are unreliable or broken
Creatures tend to want to close on you, if you're surprised and can't use your gun because of the proximity it's over unless you have a melee weapon
Melee weapons are quiet

Despite this, I don't think there are many people here taking melee exclusively over trying to shoot the thing first, I know I'd only be using a melee weapon as a last resort.
@Innue I don't think Vordak is going to bother reminding you, so I thought I'd just put this here to say Vordak is still waiting on you to answer his question before he will post.
@Willy Vereb

Clock's ticking, btw.
Hmm, my next post will probably be the start of combat, so I'll have it drafted by tomorrow evening, I don't want to make an important post half cocked.
