Alright, fuck, it, I'll just change the strike to a simple diagnol slash, though it's less cool.
You have to remember Judgement is like half again the size of your character, and he's attempting to catch her trying to charge low under his strike by giving it a downward striking pattern at the last moment. The arm movement he's carrying out is somewhat akin to turning the wheel of a ship or something, but flat at the start.

)

It has the effect of drawing the blade at first in line with her upper torso, but then the point will drop down and the middle of the blade will almost be slashing down vertically.
@MelonHead So that was...horizontal from the left, two-handed into one-handed, then immediate horizontal down swing?

It's all one move, imagine holding the sword in two hands, then relinquishing the grip with your left hand as you swing and then drawing the blade down in a diagnol cut. It basically starts horizontal left right and turns diangol upper left bottom right.
Impressive, only one in ten warriors survived to this stage when facing Judgement, flawlessly adapting to his immense strength and surprising agility and even parrying his sword while remaining standing. It seemed he had a real fight on his hands, and with a brief moment of respite was able to note that his ally had also engaged another figure in a clash of swords. He had of course turned to face his foe’s new position off to his left, still close to the wall with a statue behind them and a window off to their left side. With his ally’s new position, strangely, the battle had moved so that his force held the side of the room with the staircase, with the opposition on the other side. Though Judgement was a more significant distance from his own opponent, not currently engaged.

Still, the distance favoured the gargantuan warrior and his far-reaching weapon. Noting that his opponent was somewhat constrained on her left, with the statue and the wall blocking further passage, he took one step forward and diagonal to his left and then approached, sword remaining in its previous grip at his left side in the guard of the same name. It took Judgement perhaps two of his gargantuan steps to cover the fifteen feet or so between them, cutting it down to eight feet, more than sufficient range for his weapon. He decided to see how his opponent dealt with him switching up his style.

At range, he brought his sword across and then slashed horizontally at a diangol from the left at his foe, aiming to cleave through the middle of her torso. However, as he committed to the move he released the sword with his left hand essentially finishing the strike one handed with no significant change in the power or speed of his blow. The sudden usage of his huge blade in one hand would no doubt be a surprise, but it would also provide him with a sudden burst of additional reach, as he then drew the blade down. The end result was a simple horizontal strike transitioning into something that covered a speedy low approach from his foe, while also cutting off an easy retreat, and overall threatening them with potentially being cut in half.
Metz face grew tighter as his frown grew into an expression one could only describe as fearful surprise. The images before him, it would be difficult to personify how devastating it was to see the cause of his world’s decay, every life lost due to the departure, even selfishly his own weakness, all sat at the feet of one monster. His planet and its life-energy were simply a game piece in a battle beyond his comprehension, and it made him angry. What could one man do against those odds? He looked at the Queen with awe and fear, but even still his mind would not allow him to fearfully acquiesce to her words, nor to accept them lying down.

“I cannot thank you for these images.” He said finally, wondering if he’d be struck down for his impudence, but caring not as his body shook with barely supressed fear and rage. He was on the verge of calling out, demanding for the explanation as to how his planet could be caught in a personal war, how it was fair for gods to treat his people as pawns. Then he realised how futile such demands would be.

Metz had strayed to one corner while others had their say, but eventually Skallagrim was finished with his initial greetings, and turned to him once more. His words shook the Torm’s core, and his eyes swept the crowd with barely concealed malevolence. He looked at each newcomer in turn, taking in the two masked figures and wondering if they were somehow linked, observing the winged man with hidden amazement, paying close attention to the more subtly dressed woman, summing up their strengths with a glance. Even the sight of a happily playing animal/human hybrid running around the hall was not enough to quell his anger.

Then, as he processed further, he realised there was a glimmer of hope in the Skeletal creature’s words. He could fight, and in fighting he had the chance to revive his home, to take revenge and to unleash some of the anger he hadn’t realised had been building up for over a decade. His answering smile was terrifying, all too sharp canines visible as the dark veins beneath his eyes pulsed, his hand straying to his side.

“I will do that.”
Anyone feel free to kill the alpaca since it would not meet the requirements of a worthy warrior, thus would not have been invited. So yeah someone kill it.

That's a good point.

I also have a real life rivalry with Alpacas, so I'll be glad to do it.

Fucking Alpacas.
I'm going to let this slide, but for future reference what you've done is technically cheating. What you enter a fight with is what you have for that fight, no more, no less. Changing the capabilities of your abilities mid-fight is bad form.
Michael is different to everyone who prays to him? What does that mean? Does he personally descend from the heavens to speak with everyone who prays?

That's a serious question, by the way, not sarcasm. I have no real idea how religion works in this setting.

I think the idea is that Michael represents all of humanity, and their most prominent trait is their wide range of professions. Michael might be the god you'd pray to for aid in war if you were a soldier, but he might also be someone you'd look to for spiritual guidance or the healing of a loved one, or for wealth and prosperity if you happened to be a merchant. The only common trait is that he is the 'human' god, the god of Humanity.

I imagine him a bit like Talos from Elder Scrolls.

And yeah, god worship fell apart in the last couple of RP's, they have next to no power now as the atheists, ahem, apotheoses have taken over, and yes it's not really necessary to be a devout follower of a god to join the resistance, they have committed a lot of wrongs that transcend spirituality.

Well in this cause you'd possibly learn the terrible knowledge of the Kanji Japanese characters and their meaning. Though I can understand the reluctance of the common layman when the subject matter has anything to do with japan...

I'd take a dark tumble into the world of the weebo.

Google you must. Or knowledge elude it will.

It's more the nature of the knowledge I might obtain from that specific googling.
