Imani kept her cool.

"..I'll fuckin' root you, bloody tease..."

She let a playful giggle escape her lips as Katherine's lips brush her ear. Imani could feel pleasant shivers travel down her core. It was like the other girl's voice caused the daughter of Aphrodite to lose herself in those words; her aggressive handling was only fueling the fire. If Imani could, she'd take Katherine by the hand and drag her to her cabin. Rip those imposing clothes and run her nails down her back. Bite down on that perfect curve of her neck, leave little marks all the way up her inner thighs, teasing Katherine until she couldn't hold back anymore. Until Imani couldn't take it anymore and bury her face in - keep it cool, Imani.

Imani licked her lips in anticipation, enjoying Katherine's hand on her jaw. She turned her head just enough to bite the other girl's thumb before pulling back. "You'd like that, wouldn't you?" She leaned down as her hand rubbed circled on her thighs and up to her hips teasingly slow. "But I think minx might be an understatement." Her fingers found the hem of Katherine's shirt, and a smirk played on her lips as her fingers teased the skin under the garment.

She looked up when she felt Issie practically bolt away; she turned her head, ready to tease after her. Then Chiron and Dionysus's voices rang over the whole pavilion. She could feel Katherine's arms tighten around her as the news of Erin poured out of the God of Wine's lips.

"Wha the fuc-" She stopped her protest as she watched her brother stood from his seat and hurried away towards the direction of the Big House.

Imani didn't know what else to say. Her mother had lost her precious Dove, and now Ares was blaming one of them? Did they really have to blame Erin? She pulled herself away from Katherine's arms to stand up. She didn't know what to think. Imani knew Erin wouldn't do that, but accusations always had some reason behind them. Right? She brought her hand up to the button of her dress, tugging at it as her mind continued to wonder. Imani didn't know the girl, but it was impossible for her to steal something like that. Then, there was his brother. She knew he would throw himself at a chance to put himself in danger to help Erin.

She brought her hands up to the side of her head to massage her temples. This was giving her a headache.

Elias glanced back one last time to watch Talon walk away. He took a deep breath and returned his attention to the front. The whispers around him had shifted from the scene with Talon to Erin's accusation by Ares. Even so, he turned to his sister, walking over with a worried look on his face. He was worried. Worried about his brother and what might happen. What he might do.

"Octavia, let Kalinda heal you." He approached his sister and the other girls trying to hold her back. He gave both Ky'vie and Kalinda and thankful smile before he turned to his sister again. "You know he didn't mean it." Elias continued, "he just needs to cool off. I'll talk to him after all of this-" He motioned to Chiron and Dionysus, "cools off."

He had his own doubts about the accusations, but there was no need to voice them. The whole camp was in agreement with Micheal's first words about the whole thing. It was bullshit. It wouldn't matter. Niesha was right. They didn't need proof like Valeria demanded. All Erin could do was use what the gods thought of her and use it against them. Show them once again that undermining a demigod was a mistake.

But calling them stupid. Everyone thought about it from time to time, sure. Even he did, but he wouldn't speak it out loud. "You wouldn't even have the guts to say that." He looked over at Carlos. Despite the weight of the situation, he shot him a teasing smirk. He knew that the other boy respected the gods and would never say such things as Valeria just had. Who knows. Carlos might grow tired of doing reckless shit and just straight up curse the gods and try his luck there.

It hurt to see Talon like this. So defensive and closed off. Elias knew he wouldn't get through his brother so easily but it still worried him. Having all that pent up anger wasn't one bit healthy for the mind. He understood that opening up to others, even family, was not something that could a person come by easily. Family. Elias hadn't know Talon's childhood. He practically knew nothing about his little brother, or any of his siblings.

The only one he really felt close to was Octavia. Brandon always seemed so intimidating, even for Elias. And Talon, Talon always acted like he didn't care. Like he was fine all the time. Still acting so stern and confident, and yet he couldn't even talk to Elias. He wouldn't.

"I do care, Talon." Elias kept his voice calm. He honestly did care for the younger boy. It wasn't until a few years ago that he finally found out he had more family aside from his mother and grandparents. The first few days at camp had been the best. He was just getting to know the rest of his siblings. Talon had always been his little brother, no matter how far it felt that Elias had to reach him.

Elias wasn't going to push it. Talon needed his space, especially after what Octavia had done to get him down from the tower. "I'll be here, T. No matter what you think, you are my family. Okay?" He knew it would take some convincing for Talon to realize that Elias wasn't lying. He didn't care about some stupid position to the cabin. He cared about Talon.

Now, a bit deflated, Elias turned around to finally acknowledge the other situation at hand. He hadn't caught what Dionysus or Chiron had announced but by the look and protests of the rest of the campers, he could tell it was nothing good.
I can't taste or smell anything anymore. I miss the taste of cafe de olla.

Elias let Talon push him away. He didn't want to give his brother a reason to start swinging. Octavia's own out burst wasn't helping this situation. Were Talon's word uncalled for? Yes. Did the guy have to control himself? Also yes. But now wasn't the time for lectures. The loud voices and curious eyes around them were not helping one bit. Despite all of the distractions around them, Elias kept his eyes directly on his brother.

"You are right; I don't get it." He took a step closer to Talon to keep his attention on him. "So make me understand, T. Tell me." He lifted up his arms next to his shoulders, a sign of peace. He didn't want to escalate things any further. He had to get Talon away from prying eyes and Octavia's hot temper. Elias didn't blame his sister. He knew she meant well but she couldn't take any words Talon said right now to heart. Especially insults. As bad as they were he knew Talon didn't mean it.

In honesty, Elias was curious as to what made Talon snap like this. He had seen his brother's rage before but never quite like this. Was it because of the competition? The banter they had exchanged while they climbed? Elias was genuine when he told his brother that he wanted to understand.

Elias continued to approach the younger boy carefully and calmly. "Let's get out of here." Too many people. It would be easier to talk things through with Talon away from the crowd that had gathered around the base of the tower. He reached towards his brother but didn't touch him—just a little encouragement.

He ignored the announcement that ripped everyone's gaze away from them and to Dionysus. He kept his own disbelief in check and kept his eyes on his brother. An accusation from a God wasn't to be taken lightly, and neither was the situation at hand.

Imani couldn't help but to hum just the slightest when she felt the other girls lips against her own. Bold. Imani liked that. Her figure pressed closer to Katherine's as he free hand moved up the ink-covered arm. Long slender fingers wrapped around Katheirne's wrist that held the newly awquired flask. Imani's nails dragging over the underside of her wrist until she snatched the flask from Katherine's grip. She shot the other girl a wink as she poped it open and took a small swig from it.

"Delicious." Imani'd right hand, the one currently on Katherine's hair, gripped those silky locks and pulled her head back. Just enough for Imani to look down at her, a playful smirk gracing her lips. "Would you like a taste?" She didn't give Katherine time to respond. Imani took another drink before she pressed their lip together away. Her tongue worked itself past Katherine's lips to give her a taste of the contents from the flash. Her right hand kept the girl in place.

It was over quickly. Imani liked it like that. Leave Katherine wanting for more. It was how she played.

Imani pulled back, shooting Katherine a matching wink as she released her. She pressed the flask against Katherine, indicating her to take it, as she looked over at Isaura. She just stuck out her tongue at the Snow Queen in a playful manner.

"Would you like some kisses too?" Imani grinned at Isaura, reaching over to take her hand and squeeze it. "Don't worry, hun, you know you're the only girl I love." Imani meant it. She loved Issie as a sister.

Her lips parted as if she would say something else before she was interrupted by the deafening roars and drums around them. Imani's head snapped towards the tower just in time to catch Octavia and Talon hit the floor. What the fuck? Down below, she spotted Elias making his way through the crowd and towards his siblings.

"Hmmm, I was rooting for her."

Elias was having fun just watching his siblings and the rest of the campers compete against one another. Oh what he would give to roll under that inital beam and pull himself up from the moving ladders up to the bars. He could feel his arms and stomach flexing at the thought of having to climb up, to push those bars and have them find flesh on the other side. To feel the glory of it all to climb up to the last plataform and look down at all those you out ran. The thought of it made his hands itch for the cool metal of the rungs.

If only he hadn't helped Valeria on that last prank. Whatever at least he was here to see the competition. The two daughters of Athena were making headway while Sam was going utterly undetected by the others. Carlos, like always, was being careless as ever. Bran Bran was well, being Bran Bran. Ky'vie had the competition right under her. He could have been up there along with them. He'd probably be ahead of Brandon, by just a little. He wasn't as muscled as his brother, but he was more nimble. It was easier for Elias to move.

His daydream came crashing down, literally. His eyes tracked his sister, Octavia, throw herself from the platform she had just gotten to mere seconds ago, and against the body of Talon. He hadn't noticed the pure and uncontrollable rage in the younger boy's eyes. He knew it all too well.

"Shit, shit." Elias was no stranger to it. None of his siblings were. Their bursts of anger and pure rage was somewhat of a burden to them. He'd suffer for the majority of his childhood because of it. Bursts of anger followed by long periods of depression. At the very least, his mother had found a way to help him control it. Talon hadn't had that.

Elias hurried to the side where Octavia and Talon had fallen. He pushed away other campers, instructing them to go back and away from them. No one else had to get hurt. Then he saw the blood. His eyebrows came together as he approached his two siblings. The worry clear in his eyes.

"No fighting." Elias said, his voice calm and collected. Much like his mother's when he'd have one of these rage-infused episodes. He placed a hand on Octavia's shoulder, indicating to her that he had it. A nod, just to encourage her further. "Talk to me, T, just talk to me. Ignore them. The tower doesn't exist now. Just me. Come on, talk to me." He brought his hand up behind Talon's neck and pressed their foreheads together so Talon couldn't look away from him. "Look at me. Talk to me."

There was no need for fighting. That would only fuel Talon's irrational anger. If he put himself between the source of it, Talon had no option but to look at Elias. But fighting was in their blood, and while he had faith that Talon would just talk, he was glad that Octavia was here. If it came down to a fight, he wouldn't be alone.

It was entertaining, to say the least. The day was perfect for partaking in such barbaric and unrefined activities. Was it the rush of adrenaline? Or the glory of showing off to the rest of the camp? Show everyone else you were better at climbing and kicking off your brothers and sisters off the tower? Fun? Imani never truly understood the purpose of participating in these kinds of events.

On the other hand, Elias was the opposite. He knew exactly why people loved the obstacle tower. The loud roars from the crowds, the danger, the thrill, and the glory of it all were right up his alley. Unfortunately, Elias had been an idiot and had gotten himself in trouble. Mr. D had forbidden him from attempting to win the tower today. He didn't mention this to Octavia or his brothers. Didn't want them to feel sorry for him since they knew how much Elias liked to participate in these events with them. Besides, Elias thought, it would be fun to be a spectator every once in a while. Maybe he could give them pointers to improve for the next time around.

"Don't tell me you are actually upset," Imani was a few steps ahead of Elias, perfectly manicured nails fiddling with the buttons on her dress. She always did that, play with the little string or buttons of her clothing when she had something on her mind. It was a subconscious tick that she had been trying to get rid of for a while. "Why are you even coming? You'll just get sad watching the others, and you know how you get." She had turned her head just enough to look at him, rolling her eyes at the stupid smile on his face.

"Oh, please, you know I have to support my boys and girls!" Elias hurried and fell into step with Imani. "Carlitos and my precious siblings are going to be up there! I gotta show my support to my favorite people while they try to knock each other out from the tower! Besides, Bran Bran or O might actually take the ring this time. I have faith in Tee, but he still has more training to do."

"Bran Bran?" She laughed softly, plump lips partying to form a small smile. Imani gad always enjoyed Elias's skill to give everyone stupid nicknames. So far, Bran Bran had been her favorite. "This is why you are my favorite from that cabin."

Imani could see the tower now, at the very top, the golden ring reflecting light into her eyes as they continued to walk. She had been tempted to partake in the barbaric activity before when she was younger, but now the thought of getting sucker-punched in the face by one of those beams was not appealing one bit. Besides, she would rather watch all from the stands and marble at the contestants rippling muscles as they tried to best one another. Imani wondered if her brother had entertained the same idea as her.

As the duo made their way to the stands, the thunder of voices got louder as a camper had gotten stuck in the ladders. Elias stayed near the bottom to spectate. His eyes on his friend and the rest of his siblings running past the beam and into the rotating ladders that led up the obstacle tower.

"Carlos, don't forget that you're not some superhero and think, boy!" Elias shouted up at the son of Tyche, hands cupped around his mouth. His attention shifted to his two brothers, then to Octavia, grinning up at them. "No time for chit chat, O, you gotta get that win!" He continued to cheer them on as Imani walked past him.

Katherine wasn't that hard to spot amongst the crowd. Imani had memorized every side of her. From the girl's hair, the tip of her nose to those ink-covered arms, and down to her perfectly sculpted legs. She hummed softly as she made her way past other demigods, every one of their eyes flickering towards Imani's slender figure as she walked past them.

"Morning, cutie." Imani took her seat on Katherine's lap and wrapped her arm around those toned shoulders. "Hope you didn't miss me too much." Her fingers graced the back of Katherine's neck and up the back of her scalp. She had always enjoyed the texture of the other girl's hair between her fingers. Imani always wondered how Katherine would react if she were to pull the beautiful locks. One day.

Her eyes shifted up, a smile spreading over her lips when she saw the Snow Queen approaching them. "Glad to hear that, hun. Oh! I got your skirt in my cabin if you want it back. It's always so hard to find skirts with pockets." Imani hummed, eyes trained on Brandon as she watched him climb up the tower. Eye candy. She didn't know exactly who she was rooting for. Ky'vie would be the most obvious answer, but the girl had already won so many times that it was getting boring to see her snatch the ring for herself. Instead, she decided on Octavia, the warrior from Camp Jupiter. A woman that had perked up Imani's interest.

Her attention was ripped from the tower to Katherine. A smile returned to her lips as she leaned in closer, her lips almost gracing Katherine's cheek. "You should have told me; I would have happily gotten it for you, Kat." Her left hand slid into Katherine's jacket, bringing her lips ever so slightly closer to the other girl's. "Here you go, love." She pulled back with a knowing smile as she presented Katherine with her flask.
