Damon has just got out of a relationship that had turned sour; the girl had become overly jealous, controlling, and manipulative. As such, he's now just looking for a good time – some flings here and there, flirting, the occasional one night stand. There isn't much preference when it comes to a partner in these romantic endeavours, just as long as they're nice. However, he's no cynic when it comes to love, and if he finds the right person, that fling may just last a bit longer than normal.

Considerably shorter than his beanpole of a brother, Damon stands at 5'8; his stature best described as both slim and wiry, some defined muscles among his biceps and triceps, but nothing body-builder worthy – a somewhat broad back and good physique however, gives him a decent enough body too look at, be it clothed or naked.
His face could also be considered as rather attractive – fairly symmetrical features, from his chocolate brown eyes and full lips, to his sharp cheekbones and taught jawline. He can occasionally be found wearing black eyeliner, but his lashes are dark enough to set his eyes off nicely without make-up. Some effort is put into his hair; usually the long, black hair atop his head gelled back, sides and back being much shorter. It is just long enough that one could pull it back into a tiny ponytail – but that would look ridiculous, and Damon is not in the business of looking ridiculous. As such, he is usually seen in stylish and good-looking clothes; anything from suits to more casual jeans and shirt combos; favouring darker tones or neutral colours over anything too garish, and certainly not wearing anything that has graced a catwalk. Honestly, those people could wear a binbag and it would be rated 10 stars for being "out there".
Although generally lost while singing, Damon's York accent comes out far more than some would like. He briefly considered coaching himself to lose the accent, but why bother? He's rather proud of his home county, and shan't be insulting it by ditching his dialect.
Additional notes should include scars and tattoos; his somewhat pale skin is hardly unmarred. Although having avoided many injuries in the past by miraculous and unexplainable means, Damon still has a few; the most notable being one cutting through his right eyebrow, deep enough so that the hair no longer grows there. As for tats, he has a mish-mash of different things on his left forearm in a colourful collage; among them some song lyrics, his Mother's name, Frank Sinatra's face, and some other things he loves. Pretty sure he has a cornetto on there somewhere...

The Underworld is a dark place guys; a Demi-God has to be able to move around it without bumping into things or falling into that pesky River of Forgetfulness. As a son of the God of Underworld, Damon has pretty good night-vision. To the point that looking through some infra-red goggles would hinder his sight, not aid it.

Underworld also means Underground, don't you know! Now Hades could shake the earth sometimes to piss or mortals (and his brother), just by prodding it. Damon can't quite go that far, but when underground or moving into below ground territory, the earth can shift to help him out. Tunnel blocked? Not anymore! Looking for a quick getaway? Look, a hole just appeared, that's handy! However, as the power is for Underground, over-ground soil won't do much to help him. Especially if he's too far away from it.

As you no doubt know, Hades is God of wealth as well as the Underworld. Said wealth includes diamonds – now, as well as being pretty and looking damn good on gold rings, they are goddamn hard to break. Handy for Damon, as he can manifest a diamond skin to cover all of his body in the instance of being attacked. Not only does this make him pretty durable to most things, from pressure to heat, but it helps pack a hefty bit of strength to his punches. However, it's just a skin – everything else is soft and squishy on the inside, and diamonds won't help you from drowning.

▻ PERSONALITY ◅
There is so much of life to enjoy, and Damon makes sure he can do that at every possible moment. One could even use the term hedonism to describe him, and yet, he is not so self-indulgent. Damon takes a great pride in doing enjoyable things, with as many people as he can possibly rope in. However, such entertainment has introduced him to a very reckless, adrenaline filled lifestyle; frequently doing dangerous things for the simple rush of something, and regardless of consequences, Damon can sometimes scorn or sark others for not leaping without looking like himself. However, most problems between himself and others are frequently forgotten; he's not usually one to hold grudges. Laugh and get over it, because there may be more enjoyment around the corner. Hardly the best philosophy to have, especially if the other person still feels slighted. Such one-sided antagonism has definitely made things worse for Damon in the past; especially when he can't understand why his cheerful, half-hearted apology didn't do the trick to set things right.
Moving away from "the wild side" of his life though, Damon knows how to slow down – if a friend needs advice, he may not be able to offer a subtle approach to their problems... but they will always have his sympathies and his support. However, when it comes to seeking out help for himself, he is often loathe to do so – while not particularly finding himself a victim of self-hatred or insecurities, they occasionally appear, especially at stressful moments in his life. Damon prefers to shoulder his – and even other people's – problems alone, and during these times, he can lose his playful, energetic smile and appear cold or standoff-ish.

▻ HISTORY ◅
Born just shy of four years after his brother Leander, Damon too never knew who his father was. Constant whining towards his Mother and extended family never yielded any answers, and Leander was just as lost as to who his father was as Damon. This bothered him somewhat as a young child – while he did have the luck of having an older brother, he never filled the role of father; he never tried, nor did Damon want him to. He was shit at sports anyway – aren't Dads supposed to be good at all sports?
That's the idea he got from all his friends at school, at least. Over time, as he made more and more friends, Damon stopped feeling the absence of a father; He got along well with all of his friend's families – whether they had Dads or not themselves. Damon lovingly recalls his best friend of Year 5 – before he sadly moved away to the south of France – saying that he had a Dad, and Damon could share.
And then of course, there was his Mum. She just encouraged him in everything; took him to every school football tournament, every swimming competition, every sporting event that he loved so much... even moreso because Leander hated it. Who needed a Dad when you had the world's best Mum?
However, as time went on, Damon was no longer the golden wonder child – football became boring, swimming competitions weren't competitive enough for him, and he was failing to find much excitement in his life. His effort slacked in school, and so did his grades. Things were looking rather dull for the 12 year old... until that school trip to Whitby, that was.
Whitby is a sweet sea-side town, particularly popular in the north of England; but it was notorious for it's crumbling cliffs. Every winter it lost a couple of inches or feet; the winds and waves corroding the rocks throughout the year. Naturally, this made the cliff tops a prime adventuring playground for adolescent boys. Except while racing as close as they could dare to the edge, Damon went just that step too far; climbing over the rickety safety fences on a dare, and promptly making his way right to the edge while teachers screamed at him in the distance to get away. And so he was, until more of the cliff crumbled.... and down he fell.
Everyone thought he had died; even he thought he had died as the rocks at the bottom of the cliff raced up to meet him – but there was a sudden shine to his skin and an odd clunk as he bounced harmlessly off the rocks, and went into the water. Being a strong enough swimmer for his age – and it being a particularly calm day for the seas – he made his way to the shore. Sopping wet, unscathed, and expecting a severe scolding from his teachers. As it happened, not much scolding occurred, everyone was just so relieved and amazed he was okay. Naturally, Damon's mother was beside herself when she found out; anger swiftly replaced relief, and he was grounded for a week or so. Understandable, really – but he still thinks it was rather harsh that she didn't let him get interviewed on the news because of the incident.
From that point on, Damon had found out two things; one, that life was too short to be bored. Two; adrenaline was a hell of a drug. And there, his life's philosophy blossomed. Enjoy life, or die trying.
School passed in a blur; his grades picked up simply so he didn't miss out on things during detentions or punishments. He managed that, went on to College – this suited him far better, what with the kids having far more freedom to do things. But still, it wasn't quite enough. By the time Damon had finished his A-Levels and was 18, everyone expected him to follow in the footsteps of his older brother; go to Oxford, get a high-flying degree. He was certainly smart enough for it. However, after just finishing nearly 15 full years of compulsory schooling, Damon had no plans on going through another 3 or 4 years of it, regardless of what his teachers said.
Surprisingly, his Mother didn't argue with him when he said he was having a gap year or 3. She just asked that he would go to University before it was too late, because for god's sake he couldn't get a career in crooning in bars like he did now. With that agreement set in, Damon took off across the globe for the adventure of a lifetime.
And by God, it was. He did everything from surfing the coasts of California, to backpacking in the Andes; parachuting in Dubai to motorcycling across Mongolia; rock-climbing in Australia to tomb-stoning in New Zealand. Damon felt so damned free - there was something so satisfying in going off and doing his own thing; not following in Leander's footsteps as he had for most of his academic life. He had nothing against his older brother, nor against the prospect of University; he just enjoyed avoiding them. Why go to Oxford when you can explore the world?
However, after 4 years, Damon finally decided he should do as his Mother asked – it was the least he could do for her, and honestly, after the years he'd just had, he supposed he could live with 3 more of being pegged down in one city. And, it's not as if it were an unworthy concept – he would be working towards something, something greater than catching the best waves (Or ladies, or men, or both) on the beaches of Australia. As for which subject, a fair few caught his attention – but with the prospect of annoying people with psycho-analysis and some outrageous Freudian diagnosis to follow, he took up Psychology at Oxford. Damon took to the student life well; enjoying his subjects, and even continuing with his hobby of singing and playing the guitar at bars. He occasionally gets a bigger gig than a Uni bar, but he doesn't do it for the money. Music's all for fun, in his eyes.

- Alexandra Lawrence (Mother): Damon loves his Mum and isn't afraid to say so. He made a point of sending her a postcard to every place he visited on his travels around the world, and visits home as much as possible.
- Leander Lawrence (Big Half-Bro): Ah, Damon's favourite person to bitch and salt with. While Damon is all about enjoying life, sometimes he needs to blow off some steam, and Leander gets that. Shitty taste in cigarettes, but Damon wouldn't change him for the world - and it's great fun getting him in a headlock.
