Pokemon: Nexus [Accepting Two More!]

IDK, as long as I can make my dream contest team on this RP then I will be happy either way; I just gotta know where they are located and have an encounter with them when I get there eventually.

I mean the RP would be fun for trainers who catch different types of pokemon but pokemon contests in the anime and games are made by what pokemon are "Cool, Cute, Beauty, Smart, Tough" contests.

So if Fantasia wants to win cute and beauty contests, she needs cute and beautiful pokemon that know cute and beautiful moves. In the games, your pokemon could be the ugliest thing ever and still win a cute contest because of the moves it knows. However, I know that we are doing Anime logic about pokemon looks being a factor to the contest types.

I can't just randomly run into a Rattata and enter it in a cute or cool contest.

For people who are doing contests as their primary goal, they are going after the best looking pokemon; not just any random pokemon.

Does that make sense?

Fantasia would be looking for cute pokemon like Cherrim or beauty pokemon like Amaura, its a waste of time if I run into other pokemon that I won't end up capturing.

*EDIT Everybody has a group of pokemon they for sure want to get in this RP, I assume they are going to get it regardless of sooner or later in the RP. :/

The encounter system really is confusing me, why don't we just have a list of Pokemon catchable in an area and once you get there you can catch the pokemon your looking for?

I feel like this is an RPG and everyone would be happy catching their favorite pokemon, not just a random encounter?

Am I keeping track of time? Everyone seems to base their posts off of my character time? Y'all can play in the past a bit, just don't let it get too far or else we will all be out of sync, I swear I'll stop doing crazy time jumps, I was just doing them to fit my personal story!

Fantasia smiled, visibly tired in the eyes; she was excited to meet Miss Von Goshe but only had the hotel on her mind at the moment. She rustled through her purse to find her cellphone, which was sitting between Budew's pokeball and her Pokenav. One-by-one she punched in the limo-drivers digits, waiting at the repetitive tone for a response.

"Erhm.." The limo-drivers voice murmured though the phone, "Miss Fantasia, has your boat docked?"

"Yes, where are you located?"

"Parking Structure 2, First floor."

"Thanks." Fantasia hung up, placing her phone back into her purse. "This way."

Fantasia and Blair began their trek to Parking Structure 2, where the new limo-driver was waiting. Fantasia and Blair hopped in the limo, Fantasia not saying anything to conserve energy, closing her eyes hoping it would make the drive pass by quicker. The ride was mostly silent; it was obvious the trip to the Grand City had made both the teens weary.

After a daunting ride to the hotel, they had finally arrived at the Grand Tradition Hotel, the place was huge and very regal; placed right in the middle of the Grand City strip, only a few steps away from the hottest shops and casinos. Fantasia noted a Pokémon center that had to be at least twenty stories tall, it was such an astounding sight and was quite breathtaking in retrospect.

It seems like this night would never end as the wheels kept turning towards the Grand Tradition.

Fantasia decided to get closer to the top of the ship, to look at the city in all its glory before entering. The Grand City really lives up to its name and would be anything you’d expect it to be, large twinkling lights flashing against the pitch black sky and huge hotels and skyscrapers providing opportunity for fame and fortune at every corner; Fantasia felt home -and a little sleepy.

“Attention passengers,” a voice announced, “we have arrived in the Grand City; please return to your rooms to grab your belongings and have a great rest of your night.”

Fantasia flashed a half-smile one last time at the glimmering lights, letting them spin in her eyes one last time before she slugged back to her room to collect her purse. Once she had made sure she had everything she needed, she walked over to Blair’s room and opened the door to Blair who was just repacking up his things.

“-well, here we are!” Fantasia yawned, trying to seem more excited then she really was; or at least as excited as someone could be when arriving late at night, the only thing she was excited about right now was finding a nice comfortable bed to sleep in. “You got all your things packed and ready to go?”

I figure as long at it needs to, if its just a filler and you aren't going to really do anything on the way then 3-4 posts; if your going to be capturing pokemon and training then maybe more. :)

Uhm no, we would all be posting like once every 1-2 days, besides some people arent as active as others; if someone goes on vacation, that means no diologue, which means no post which means everyone is waiting for that one person to come back.

Its better if groups wait for eachother, but if someone out of my group is not posting, that doesn't effect my characters life in any way... Just sayin'
