I have been feeling this strongly ever since watching Andrei Rublev. And by watch, I mean, not finish watching because my husband and I both fell asleep on the couch after I convinced him to (yet again) watch (another) long and drawn-out, foreign-indie film. So far, my conclusion is that, reading books seems to be the only escape from reading.*

The punch landed on Rowan, and reflexively, his left arm, managing Vasco swung the unconscious body.

Human legs straightened with the swing, knocking Ironfist back a few measures. Rowan was now facing Whiskers. With another breath, heavy but steady, Rowan took a side step, stumbling still, under the weight of carrying both bodies. Despite the stumble, he dodged the poison blade, which found its way to Ironfist.

Just, updating on the hair situation: I had a last hurrah w/pink. It faded to a nice cotton candy, and then — just like that, I am a brunette, again.
