Notable Traits:

• Earth Magery affinity: able to manipulate the earth around him to serve his will and even able to single out specific elements within the earth.
• Marcus is always dressed to impress and is very rarely seen without a button up shirt and vest.
• Skilled hand-to-hand. This is notable because of the fact that Marcus will rush straight into combat even in the face of enemy fire.

Flaws:

• Narcissist
• Believes that anyone that does not follow the doctrines of the Abbey are worthless including regular humans. Meaning that he does not value human life and thinks of it as expendable.

Channel: Single Desert Eagle that fires Lacrima laced bullets that allow Marcus to channel his magery directly onto his target. A favorite technique is using the bullets to turn the target into a magnet pulling large objects in to crush his opponent.

History:

Personality: Marcus Anthony is a ruthless man that will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. People that have served under him have described him as a monster who does not value the life of his men and that they are lucky that they were able to come back alive. Even though the magery user has pledged his loyalty to the Abbey of the Void, it does seem that this is a means to an end as Marcus does have his own mission in mind.

Motivation: Marcus was raised within the Abbey and never even had a chance to learn of the other Philosophies until he was completely indoctrinated into the belief. This didn't seem to bother the young man at all as he had a natural inclination toward violence and his intelligence made him dangerous to even his own people. This was channeled toward their enemies as he now as been given command of a Reality Convergence team send to take the power for themselves.

Character Goals: He views the world as broken and in much need of being fixed by the Abbey of the Void. He thinks that he will be the bringer of this destruction alone and to do this he must rise through the ranks until he is at the peak of his strength. Marcus wants to take control of the Reality Convergence to take control of all Philosophies and reshape the world in the image he imagines it should be with no humans and only Magery users alive.

Subject 496: Virgil

The green haired subject had been surprisingly quiet throughout the various events that had been taking place. Everything was just so new that it was to much to take in at once and he had come to a screeching halt in his thought process. As if to throw him even more off his loose center a completely separate gender was introduced as if to confuse him even more. It seemed that there was just so much variety in this shifting place that it was to hard to hold onto just one reality.

In the back of Virgil's head there was a strange nudging as if there was an idea just under the surface that couldn't be grasped. It was a sensation that he just couldn't place and for some reason couldn't ignore at the same time. The thought drifted through his head as they walked into the next room where there seemed to be more people carrying those strange looking sticks that were guns if his mind was right.

That was when the beating started and he was pulled out of his mind as he stared at the scene in front of him. Isn't there anything that I can do. All he could do was clench his fists as he watched his fellow subjects beaten before his eyes. Than in a blink of the eye the scene changed to that of a slaughter of the guards that had just been the ones doing the beating. If only he had the power to stop those guards, maybe he wouldn't be so useless than.

Virgil couldn't wait to unlock these powers that lay dormant within his body ready to be summoned with the removal of the collar.

Okay, um, I'm not entirely sure how he got the katana from the West since like in real like fantasy!Japan is to the East. ^^;

Also, how did he learn his spell? Remember, magic taught outside of some formal education is viewed with a lot of suspicion.

Tai Blane

Name: Tai Blane

Class: Soldier of Fortune

Personality: Tai is a friendly person who enjoys the company of others and is always looking for a party to travel with. He is loyal to those he travels with and would never betray the trust of others no matter what happens. He is a lover of rare and exotic items and is known to buy any item that catches his interest, which lead him to start hunting for dungeons as he heard that some incredible items could be found at the end of these adventures.

Brief Backstory: Tai lived a fairly average life filled with combat training until his sixteenth birthday when he was sent out on his first journey to discovery the world. Two months into his travels, he met up with a troop of human mercenaries that took him under their wing and taught him how to hone his skills and showed him how the world worked. He stayed with the troop for over two years and raised a good amount of money with the group where he gathered most of his current equipment from the various lands that the troop traveled through taking on different kinds of jobs. He even learned a handy magic spell from the resident mercenary magician who had been trained at the Mage school.

Tai returned to his home for a year until he grew restless and once again left home to travel again. This time is travels took him farther East with groups of merchants who hired him as a bodyguard to protect against bandits. As part of the payment for his services he requested an exotic slightly curved sword that one of the merchants carried rumored to have come far to the East past lands never seen by anyone living.

He now travels around looking for groups to explore dungeons as he sees that as his new source of thrills and adventure. His ultimate goal is to gather as many exotic items he could collect and find someone to finally settle down with.

Equipment:

• Leather overlapping armor
• Katana
• Various assortment of knives collected over his travels

Abilities:

• Enhanced smell and hearing
• Light on his feet
• Knows only one spell that allows him to enhance the cutting edge of his sword to cut through metal, the incantation takes some time to cast. He rarely uses the spell as people question if he is a witch when he uses the power.
