As someone who works for a pet store I both love and hate pixar. The next person that tries to ask me if we have "a dory fish" for their goldfish bowl is getting straight up clubbed like a baby seal

I'm just a simple college student working his way through life while simultaneously testing the limits of how much caffeine and alcohol the human body can subsist on before it gives out. Just call me Shade.

@Blizz Depends on how adaptable he is with his powers. That's another important thing to factor in. Someone like Jack could easily find himself placed in either group due to the nature of his powers.

@Saarebas Well everyone's going to their assigned positions for evaluation, shouldn't be to hard for your character to slip in there.
Hero or hero support?

Hero or sidekick basically. In the movie, those with powers that were considered benign or without immediate practical use for combat/saving people where listed as supporters. I.E. A guy that can generate electricity would likely be listed as a hero while a guy who could see in pitch black darkness would probably be listed as a supporter.
Dimitri complied with Ms.Hefty's directions and stood in the corner, visibly shaking with excitement as he awaited the results for this year. During the previous year Dimitri had managed to be assigned as a part of the hero classes, albeit just barely due to him just learning to use his abilities. This year would be different; He'd been practicing all summer, this time around he wasn't just going to squeak by. Dimitri's excitement began to manifest itself through his powers, as evident by the metal that began to creep up from his color bone all the way to his cheeks. He hardly noticed, being far too concerned with trying to take everything in at once.
(ignore this)
Name- Jacque Marrow

Age- 30

Race- Human

Gender- Male

Personality- A somewhat staunch, nature loving man who has rejected the luxuries of a stationary city life in favor of a more nomadic and naturalistic one. He's prone to being blunt both in his mannerisms and speech, almost to the point of coming off as rude at times. Jacque has seen many strange things in his travels and as a result of this has become a man whom is not easily shaken or startled, though this hardly means that he actually understands most of the strange things he's seen. He has a somewhat troublesome habit of willingly allowing people to make mistakes so that they can learn from them that stems from his own trials of trial and error during his first few years as a nomad.

Skills- Multilingual, survivalism (camping, making a fire, knowing what will and won't kill you if you eat it, etc.), tracking, archery, woodcraft

Appearance-

Other- He carries around a species of Asp Viper (V. aspis aspis, to be specific) that serves as both a "pet" and a means of poisoning his arrows for hunting bigger prey. The snake is by no means domesticated and won't hesitate to try to bite Jacque if provoked, but it has learned to put up with very brief handling. Jacque carries it around in a fur lined wooden box
Jacque kept right on walking Eva's protests, "Hey, I never said anything about leaving anyone with anyone. I just started walking. You just happened to not follow immediately." he stated in a matter of fact tone. Zarr's admission to not actually being a doctor managed to stop him, though it was only for about half a second before he continued on, "So you're not a doctor then? Noted. You know, you really shouldn't go about letting people assume you're a scientist or doctor. It's going to lead to some serious confusion. And while I appreciate your...er...amiable nature, my name is Jacque, not "Mr.Friend".". Surprisingly there was no animosity to be found in Jacque's tone. He was blunt, but it was more so due to his nature as a person rather than due to any hostility. Eventually Jacque came to a full stop in front of a door labeled as #004 -the room that had been assigned as his living quarters-, and entered it, leaving the door open for the time being as he'd yet to grow fully annoyed by the presence of his tag alongs.

Jacque took in his surroundings after fumbling for and switching on the light switch, finding himself both intrigued and underwhelmed all at once by the simplicity of the room. Everything, the wall, the plastic dresser, to the cot that served as his bed, even his bed sheet, was white. Not like the eggshell white of a new apartment room either, but a sterile almost blinding white, like fresh snow. There was a door on the far side of the room that likely led to a bathroom, presumably just as sterile in appearance as the rest of the room. "Nice to see that they're consistent.", Jacque casually pulled off his bag and tossed it onto the bed, figuring he could worry about putting away his clothing later.
Dimitri nodded in greeting to Eve and Ava as they approached him and Zaheer, however he was a bit too preoccupied listening to Zaheer to verbally respond. He tried to multitask between paying attention to both his newfound friend and the announcments at once, not really seeming distressed until Zaheer mentioned his desire to see Dimitri in combat. For just a sliver of a moment Dimitri's smile became strained as he fought the desire to frown. He was never really one for combat, in fact, he'd come to learn how to use his powers for anything other than punching people in the face in the name of justice. As people where being guided to their assigned areas, Dimitri stood and began to move with the second year crowd towards gym 2. He would have offered a farewell to Wildside and the twins, however as both parties were currently engaged in conversation he refrained from doing so out of politeness. At any rate, if any of them happened to be second years, they'd surely find him rather quickly, especially Zaheer, if his location of Dimitri earlier was anything to go by.
Dimitri shrugged and closed the lid on his container as Zaheer spoke, seemingly unphased by the questions he was being asked "Metal guy's fine too. As for the whole deflecting bullets things, it's a bit tricky. I mean i'm sure I can block some calibers, but I doubt I could handle anything from a high powered rifle or anything like that. Never really been in a position where i've had to do it, you know?". He stopped speaking momentarily to wave to a few faces in the crowd before looking back to Zaheer, "That being said, breaking stuff's pretty easy. I generally try not to, but there was this one time that me and a few friends were at this scrap yard looking for neat stuff and I got dare to punch a busted up car. Ended up denting it a bunch before I punched a hole in the roof and got my arm stuck.", Dimitri scratched the back of his head sheepishly as he recalled the incident, "We had to get the guy that owned the yard to come pry me out. He wasn't very happy about us trespassing, but I think he either pitied me or was confused enough about how I got stuck like that to let us go without calling the cops.".
Having been absorbed in trying to see the entirety of the student body at once, Dimitri hadn't noticed Zaheer approaching his person until he'd been on the receiving end of Zaheer's enthusiastic greeting. Dimitri gave a small jump, but quickly regained his cheery demeanor as he realized who it was, "Zaheer..." Dimitri said, trying out the name for himself a few times to make sure he remembered how to properly pronounce it for future references. Once he was certain he'd gotten it memorized, Dimitri cracked open the lid on the tupperware container again and offered the contents to Zaheer, "Nice t'meetcha Zaheer, the name's Dimitri. A handful of folks call me Alloy though.".

Jacque continued to stare down Zarr as the white coat clad individual hovered in the air quietly. For a moment Jacque started to get annoyed at the lack of response to his question and was about to tell Zarr to piss off, however a shifting directly behind him stopped the man before the words could come out. He reluctantly took his eyes off of Zarr to see what it was to find Eva using him more or less as a meat shield. Jacque momentarily wondered if it was out of fear or distain that she chose to do so, then simply decided it wasn't really any of his business. His goal right now was to find his living quarters to put away his things, then report to his assigned examination room so he could run the gauntlet that would allow him to get what he'd come for. Jacque's face took on a rather deadpan expression as he calmly stepped around Eva and continued down the hall, not particularly caring at this point whether or not he was followed. Worst come to worst, he could simply shut himself in his quarters until both parties lost interest in him.
