Bio

He/They Geek by day, mailman by the hour. New to the site, and rpg forums. Kinda. I have some brief experience on Iwaku but lots of time playing Pathfinder, Call of Cthulu, Dungeons and Dragons, Starfinder, etc. I typically run games that are on the spooky, mysterious side. Open to any game that has role play, combat, exploration, I can do whatever. Outside of rpgs, I watch weird movies, play a few games, write, and hike.

@sassy1085 Anime for sure
The small group of punks in Slymere have established a hangout spot in an abandoned cottage near the woods. It was a hermit's cabin long ago, and left to fall apart when the owner was buried. He lived alone and never went to town. His body was found deep in the woods, but details about his body are unknown. Popular rumor says he was hexed. The cabin is a single room home. The roof is made of mud and straw, the floor is dirt. Despite it's age, the cabin is in excellent attention. It's two windows are still intact. The walls stand strong and the roof keeps out the rain. You and your friends have moved in cots, pillows, a table, folding chairs, a couch, an old tv, and an ashtray. Punks occasionally spend the night, but no one seems to stay more then a couple nights at a time.
@sassy1085 Interesting. What kind of teenagers would she try to talk to? Is there a clique or stereotype she gravitates to? Like punks, skaters, stoners, theater kids, farmers, Astrology fans?
@Vertigo Looks like you are the tiebreaker vote. What do you prefer? Discord or forum?
Unfortunately, I will not be able to participate in this game. Best wishes to those who remain.

Sorry to hear but thank you for communicating with us.
@sassy1085 Very interesting. You would certainly have seen some strange goings on sleeping at the park. What is your character's religious stance? The village offers a shabby Lutheran Church and an ancient Catholic chapel. Neither are particularly popular in Slymere, but hold a good sized flock of attendees every Sunday Morning. The Catholic Chapel, St. Angela's, is very old and is rumored to have become Catholic just 2 centuries ago. No one is sure what it was before then. The Lutheran church was recently remodeled to have a modern, smooth exterior. Also, what did they do to socialize? Did they have any friends?

We can discuss it here if you want

Awesome, we should be able to come up with a lot of good ideas brainstorming. We can start with discussing if your character is a local or lives nearby. Maybe even farther. Whatever you decide will determine how well the locals know you, and how familiar you are with the village. Maybe even a clue or two.
@Morgrym76 Thanks. We're doing this over guild, yeah, not roll 20 or some other virtual tabletop? The only thing is I could never really figure out how the on-guild roller works.

We can do this over Forum or Discord. I have no personal preference, so I'll leave the decision up to you, the players. I've never used a virtual tabletop before.
And for every player, I have links to lore about Cheliax to help with your backstory.

pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Cheliax

This will tell you the general history, politics, geography, and culture of Cheliax.

pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Hellknight

These are the primary enforcers of law and order in Cheliax. You will work with plenty of them.

pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Chelaxian_(hu

This page goes into much more elaborate detail about the largest demographic of Cheliax. The Ruling Class is almost exclusively Chelaxian.

pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Diabolism
pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Asmodeus

These are the primary religious systems of Cheliax and the most active influences on its people.
@tobiax I'm glad to have another experienced player along. Transfers are fine as long as it isn't home brew and has 0 experience. It's best if you all start on the same foot. If they have any magic or any other kind of special items, run it by me first. Looking at clerics and oracles, they can both fit the themes of the campaign very well. In fact, religious characters that are devoted to Asmodeus would be right at home scheming with the nobles of Cheliax.
