Current I just cringe most of the time at how people either spit random 'le funny' jokes no one finds funny, or simply spark a discussion no one cares about.

"Status Update" doing its work as intended I see. Proud of it.

Talk about the "Status bar" having lost its true purpose. It should have a 12-hour limit to stop the unfunny, random posts.

Trying to 'un-busy' myself from this busy-as-heck schedule. More at 9.

People put Charles Manson in a pedestal as one of the most evil and insane people the US of A has spawned, yet we have had worse than him in the past who actually killed people with their own hands.

Bio

About me, huh...Well, I am a person with limbs...and apart from the obvious, I love writing. I started RPing almost...almost 4 years ago if I recall correctly. It was a summer of 2011, and I did not like it at first. Yes, I sucked big time in case you were wondering but hey...everyone gets better. Big, big, humongous kudos and thanks to a user called 'coolcat' (or 'fairy' followed by a weird numerical combination) for introducing me into the wonderful world of RPing. You are the best!

I enjoy writing...just about everything (as long as it has nothing related to scat, MxM or other things that make me uncomfortable). I really like working with both Modern times and Victorian times, but as of lately I am more inclined to the first. I have a wide array of tastes which go from playing a mere human to taking control of a demon who corrupts everything it touches.

About me? I am a man who currently working his ass off to move...somewhere else. I love reading and I love writing, but if there is one thing I love more than those two things...is playing videogames. And I am not talking about these modern and fancy shit kids play nowadays. No. My one and true love are retro-games. My favourite console is the original Playstation 1, with my favourite videogame of all time being Twisted Metal 2. So, if you ever feel like chatting about those old games and that particular console, hit me up with a PM and we'll surely get along well.

I have some standards when it comes to RPing. I especially enjoy 1x1, so I tend to look the other way when I work in groups because there is always the black sheep who does not meet my expectations.

The first one has to be godmodding. I hate it with all my soul. It is totally cringeworthy when a person takes control of not only his character, but also yours and every NPC around just to wreck havoc. The moment a person starts Godmodding, I know it will not work because once you learned to RP with godmodding in your mind, it is hard to take it out.

Secondly,
Other than that, I mostly enforce consistency within the story. So long as what you are doing can be justified in a way that isn't just "This way I win.", then I will probably be fine with it.

This to the extreme. I had a partner who would always have her characters run around reasonless-ly trying to disrupt the continuity of the story, and that irked me. Not once, but twice. Sadly, the girl was too sensitive when I faced her over this. Consistency is a must.

Then, we have grammar. Were the grammar Nazis to exist as a political party, I'd be the führer. I do not like grammar mistakes, but I have learned to tolerate them and cope with them for the reason that most people here do not care that much about grammar, so in my request thread I state that I am no a grammar Nazi just for the sake of having more appliants. But yes, grammar mistakes kill my brain cells. Not so much about typos, we all make mistakes when typing, so that is really excusable.

One-liners are also really turn offs for me. I hate them with a passion, especially if you write a full paragraph and the person 'one-lines you'. I have finished RPs for this same reason.

Finally, manners. We all make mistakes, and I am a VERY forgiving person. And I am really serious. I never get angry because I am not a violent person. Although I do lose my temper, there has to be extreme cases. But really, if you are going to be absent, please let me know. There is this girl who I was RPing with who just vanished 20 days ago. No warning, nothing.

RPing is a delicate thing, I must say.

The problem with "Free" is that one-liners are extremely abundant and annoying. If those one liners meant anything, then it would be okay. However, couple the one-liners along with the people who lack any grammar whatsoever and whose posts are really shit-tier. There you have the average "Free" user.

Then you have the Casuals, which mostly fall in the category "High Casual to Advanced". People here write 2-5 paragraphs of really good consistency, following gramatical rules with little typos, etc. This place is really appealing because the section is for Casuals, but the content ends up being for Advanced.

Finally, we have Advanced. Half of the GMs have ridiculous standards for this section (I remember one particular GM who had the requirement of no less than 2,000 words per post, which I found idiotic to the extreme.) The other half end up lowering their standards to Casual, but since most RPers are scared of Advanced due to thinking that it is a lair of "Only-pros", Advanced ends being abandoned.
