Gentlemen, you had my curiosity, but now you have my attention.
Interested, but I would like to ask one thing? Would, say....a custom class be allowed? A while back I got into one RP and had a Pegasus Archer. Since then, the idea has really grown on me.
For some reason, I can't connect to the Etherpads. Gasp.
Dat signature. SO interested,
Johannes was already awake in his room when Vladimir came by with the wake-up call, half-adorned in his armor. He looked at the man who opened his door and smiled. "Good morning." He had barely started speaking before Vladimir moved on to the next door, but his point had been made: Johannes Lunaris was a punctual, disciplined soldier. He wouldn't hold the others up by being the last to wake up, even if he wasn't the first. In many ways, Johannes was the ideal soldier: awake early, on time, obedient, powerful, and a good team player. He was hoping that his comrades would prove similar, and so far he hadn't been particularly disappointed from what he immediately saw. The Child of the Dark Sun and the mercenary Leon Thorne were the two who stuck out in his mind the most at this point, but he was hopeful the full group would get on better terms as time went on. Or, more accurately, he was sure because he would do his damnedest to make it happen.

Finishing the process of adorning his armor, Johannes grabbed his rucksack and continued down the hall toward the courtyard. While he waited, he looked a bit around, mainly at the commanders present. Each was a formidable presence on their own, but together he had no doubts that this campaign would be a success. The only questions were how long it would take and how many men and women would die in securing the world's peace. It wasn't a thought he was particularly fond of, but he would keep his mouth shut. He knew damn well that if these people weren't around to fight and die, many more would perish in their stead. When the full group had arrived, Johannes stood silently as the commanders and the Queen gave their own forms of farewell, leaving them in the hands of Justicar Valerian. He was significantly comforted by the fact that the Justicar was at least a familiar face, if nothing else. He was used to dealing with members of the Lunar Watch, as well as its leaders. People like him were...well-known among the Watch.

When Justicar Valerian asked if they had anything to say, Johannes didn't hesitate to speak up. "This is more for my comrades' sake than my own. I never did properly introduce myself. My name is Johannes Lunaris, and as you likely noticed yesterday, I am gifted with the blessings of Lun. It was for this reason that I was brought to the Lunar Watch, and it has been, in large part, responsible for my abilities and my position within the Watch. I hope that we may fight well during this campaign. I was uneasy to be working with those not affiliated with my own group at first, but after meeting all of those present, my unease proved to be unfounded. I'm confident in our abilities, so long as we can work together."
The first school day has started! Woo! No sarcasm there at all! In anticipation of this, Jacob slowly made his way to the assembly. Luckily, it wasn't uniform day, though, so he was just wearing a pair of jeans shorts and a dull gray t-shirt, which let him sleep in a bit. A bit being until 6:30 this morning. A man's gotta shave and all that, after all. It was going to be tough getting used to class schedule again, having to wake up so early. At home, he was able to relax and, for the most part, do nothing. His stay at the hospital had robbed him of a large part of his freedom, but it was a necessary evil to bring him back from the edge. Stretching his arms and yawning as he sat, Jacob noticed Connor give him a long-range fist bump and returned the gesture, a goofy smile on his face. Alena offered a stiff nod, which was returned amicably. The bloody welts on his hand were still plainly visible, the battle scars of a true airsoft veteran. Under his shirt and on his arms were a few more, and Jacob often left most of them to the open air, only covering the ones on his hands with bandages, especially so on uniform inspection days. Connor was one of the only guys he still hung around with from the before times, and Alena was a decent friend: they rarely spoke outside of JRTOC class and events, but there was no animosity between them or anything.

Before he fucked up his arm like an idiot. He still got twinges of pain now and again, and lifting his left arm higher than his chest took a bit of effort. The physical therapy was helpful, though. He'd suffer from a permanent deficiency in motor function as a result of nerve damage, but the arm was still attached, which he considered a blessing. Shaking his head at the thought, he smiled and looked up at the Student Council. Acacia, always trying to do her best and live up to the family name. She did a decent job for a high school student, he supposed. It wasn't a situation he really could understand, so normally he didn't think about it. Max, the flirtatious, rich guy. Not much wrong with him really, he just lived a different lifestyle. Jacob didn't really have much of a relationship with the guy, so there wasn't much to mention.

And Eliza. He always got the chills if he looked at that girl for too long. Like there was nothing human inside of that body. Yes, it was pretty terrible of him to say, but...she seemed like she collected people like he collected games. As something to entertain her, rather than as friends and loved ones. Maybe he was wrong about her. Hell, he hoped he was, but he couldn't help but get wary around her.

After the assembly finally ended, Jacob got up and quickly made a beeline for the door. Getting trapped in that crowd was dangerous for everybody around Jacob, himself included. Making his way into Mr Matthews' classroom, he nodded to the teacher and took a seat quietly. The teacher's joke made Jacob furrow his brow and groan. Speak for yourself, asshole. This wasn't a good way to start the year, but Jacob couldn't help but be a bit jaded at his homeroom teacher's twisted joke. High school had been, quite literally, the worst part of his life so far. Shaking his head again, he looked down at his desk, taking a deep breath. This was probably gonna be a long year...
I made a small-ish change to Jacob's character. Nothing major, just added some more consequences to his self-mutilation. You'll see what I mean when my post is up (which should be in like less than an hour so yeah)
Jacob couldn't help but laugh at the situation. Waving the two off, he shook his head, muttering. "Yes, sir. Will standby for further orders." Turning on his heel, he headed off to the White Mage Guild, his own gait a bit unsteady. Yes, a rain check was probably the best idea for everybody now.

Jacob has left the scenario.
5 A.M. training? Great. Jacob had come here to try to salvage whatever remnants of a normal life he could as a Wanderer, but of course he wound up getting himself right back into the thick of the shit. Sighing, he nodded to Balthazar and looked at Dark and Aphrodite. This had been his first time since coming to Ceteris that somebody had invited him to do something, even if it was part of a group invitation. "Sure, I'm up for it."
