Darksteel has been around for a while, and I don't know why he was enlisted into the IA's military at all. He was probably convinced that you're the bad guys, so he decided to team up with other elites to help take us down. He's a very well known assassin; he targets people who usually try to cause harm to the general public or make threats to the Alliance. He's really good. He has legends around him and everything.

Factions

Tier Five: The beings who ran existence before the Nobility. They currently still operate underground, though their control over Existence is virtually gone.

Black Hammer: Organization dedicated to ruthless justice, not hindered like many by the refusal to kill. They operate in the shadows as a large group of assassins.

The Ten Scientists: Ten of the greatest scientists to ever exist came together to create the powerful android known as Aero Zone.

The Lords of Chaos and the Ladies of Order: The Spirits of Harmony. When each Lord or Lady dies, their soul is brought into the collective mind of Chaos or of Order and the mantle is passed down to a new reincarnation, who becomes the controlling mind--the mind that controls the Spirit of Order or Chaos.

Interuniversal Alliance (IA): A powerful empire that controls a vast number of universes and has footholds in many more. They are the largest known military force in Existence at the present moment, but despite this are still currently heading towards mass chaos at the hands of a few villains.

Big X: Group that currently consists of 9 beings who work together to keep the Alliance intact by combating both internal and external threats. They wield powerful blades known simply as the Ancient Swords.

Iron Legion: A group of elite soldiers in the IA formed under the rule of the ill-willed Andy Indigo.

The Crew: Close friends and old coworkers of Sven Waternaux who still work as a group to this day, though their line of work is not clear.

There's a team the Indigo formed, and each of them is either highly skilled or highly powerful. I do not know their actual names, but I have their code names right here.
*Pulls out a file and lays it on a table. I then open it up and pull a list from the papers inside*
They go by Deadeye, Darksteel, Huntress, Juggernaut, Thunderblade, Arsenal, Worldfog, and The Annihilator. Now, this is just speculation, but Deadeye is most likely your friend Lucas. Huntress I have accompanying me here, as Lucas requested. The Annihilator is most likely Antinili, their intended counter to Mr. Strange.

It's all in the plan. And honestly, this is the only rule he has that truly makes me upset. No video games during the week? I can live with that. Strict punishments for harmless mistakes? That's fine too, it builds a lot of character. Take away my tools to be creative? That cuts deep and is absolutely senseless.
