On the positive side, it's like a free reroll!
Jack and Atalanta being in the same place ought to be...interesting. Well, at least this time Jack won't explode or something.
@Beloss There are actually 9 masters above 20 years old btw.

Oh also, thinking about it, wouldn't the average haughty and prideful magus (apparently the kind of magi that are common in Nasuverse) aren't really suited well to most Assassins anyway personality-wise? They didn't seem to be the type that would utilize the class to its full potential anyway.
@Rin Sure sure, I'll be fine with that arrangement.
@VitaVitaAR I'm personally more enamored by the /SF Jack more because reasons, however I guess a part of why Apo!Jack didn't really grow on me despite her actually pretty nice concept and backstory was my personal dislike on what happened on her part in Apo, but eh, it's nothing but personal bias.

Grail War balance was pretty much never a concept since conception anyway. It's an intentionally rigged system from the start, although due to oversights in general, the other containers weren't as gimped as expected. Each container had their pre-set method on how would they compete, but of course, despite this technically making them equal, some ended up being better than others. Which would be fine, really.

Assassin's issue really wasn't how much they get fucked over by their container. No matter their portrayal, they'd invariably be the class that was most prone to get fucked over by the narrative itself. Because after all you couldn't just have the servant go around and do what it's supposed to do willy nilly.

Berserker still imo would be the hardest class to win with in a HGW scenario. They're even more of a one-trick pony compared to Assassin, and while they're very strong at doing what they do, their linearity made it a lot easier for other masters to plan for them while making it hard for their master to actually make plans around him, barring the very rare exceptions like Lancelot. They would go down fighting, most definitely, but actually winning would be really hard.
Murdoch Lamaela

"It is time already? Time sure flies."

Murdoch snubbed out the cigarette he was smoking as he heard Zeltretch's voice echoing on the place where he was waiting on. He rose up from where he sat and took a bit of time to stretch his sore muscles a little before going along with the rest of the magi that were there alongside him. It was a honor for him to be invited into this by the Wizard Marshal himself, but Murdoch couldn't help but feel something was amiss with how most of the invited magi were young. Prodigies as these magi were, one would think that the reason why they were here would be something that would benefit from older magi that had more experience. However, Murdoch laughed it off. Of course, it'd be silly if Zeltretch chose these people only from their capabilities. These rash, ambitious youths would surely be a better choice than those stuck-up elites that were too focused on themselves to care about anything else. Or at least, these kids could still be mold into something better, perhaps.

It's just speculation, but Murdoch loved speculation. That's kind of a part of his job description as an archaeologist.

Inside of his pocket was something he immediately prepared as soon as he knew he got invited here. An old wooden shard that didn't look special on first glance, however, it used to be part of something grander. It was a shard of the Round Table itself, and even after hundreds or perhaps thousand of years had passed, it still carried the traces of Mystery from the knights. In his office Murdoch had many objects of similar nature, but this shard of Round Table he managed to get off a black market was the best catalyst he had. Ah, though the end result shouldn't really matter.

Once he reached the room with the summoning circles, Murdoch situated himself on one of the still empty ones. As he walked there, he took note of the people that were already there. Ah, none of his colleagues were there, quite a shame. Although, these were an interesting bunch too, and it would be fun to see how they perform. He also noticed the Einzbern homunculus, and he frowned a bit. That could be quite problematic. But ah, no use to worry about his comrades, right? He continued his merry way past her, and chose a circle that were just right near hers. He placed his catalyst on there, and now, the only thing he need to do was wait.

Ah, it would be a silly thought, but what if he summoned a fair lady? Being accompanied by one should be nice for this.

Murderloli isnt even the best Jack the Ripper
CA Hassan is a pretty cool guy at least, he definitely is up there for my favorite Assassin.

poor dude
Ah, that makes sense. Right, that does explain it, and also explains Sasaki in a way.
A master for Berserker should just pull a Kirei in Fate route and power the Servant up with the suffering of children.

Isn't the Hassan-only Final Destination ruleset something inherent to specifically Fuyuki's Grail War (and Strange Fake's since it's directly based on it)? I forgot the details on that.
