Callum and Charlie get along great, with Callum happy to play a sort of paternal role in the younger boy's life. Callum admires Charlie's strength, but disagrees with the devotion of his life to the Griffin's cause.

Taxian Furthlowe

Callum rarely talks to Taxian, but respects him nonetheless.

Personality

From a realistic standpoint, it makes no sense for Callum to be involved in this sort of revolution. He’s mild-mannered, and doesn’t care much for combat. Yet anyone who knows him is aware that above his distaste for war, is an infinitely strong desire to protect. He worries very little about himself, instead occupying himself with the well-being of his friends. Since he considers everyone to be his friend, this is no simple task. He hopes that the war draws to a close as soon as possible, as he hates seeing anyone die. For his belief in humanity, many call him naive.

History

Callum was born to an Irish-American at the height of the Norm persecution of Sorcerers. He and his mother once stayed up 24 hours straight healing his father after a mob attacked him. He was in the minority of Sorcerers who did not fault the Norms for the violence, his best friend of many years was a Norm. When the enslavement began, he dnd his family hid the friend in their basement. When the authorities found him, Callum’s mother and father tried to stop them from taking him. Callum’s mother and father were killed, and his best friend was grievously wounded. Callum came home from med school that day and tried his hardest to heal his friend, but he failed. Callum developed a crippling fear of failure and ran away, now a wanted man. He wandered for several years, finally finding the Griffins as a place to use his powers for the good of everyone. He’s remained there for a little more than nine years.

Callum is casual friends with Nate. He appreciates what he's done to try and help Charlie. Though he'd never admit it, he's a bit freaked out by the mentalist powers.

It's hard to tell how Callum feels about Angel, because he becomes a nervous wreck when he's within twenty feet of her. It is currently unknown why this happens.
