Sam was suprised by the sudden kiss, and his face turned red. "I... uh... uhm... About those glasses." Sam said, trying to change the subject. He was very shy if it came to relationships, and didn't really know what to do. "Like I said, I can give you a copy of the design so you can make your own." He then saw someone walk into the room, that had a metal suit on, which reminded him of his own. Maybe another attempt to recreate his father's suit? Who knew.

sorry about the long post, got a bit carried away.
Lara walked into the lab. She looked around for a bit, before turning around again, facing the door. "Come on, Sam, don't be shy. I bet your pokemon is going to like you." Sam slowly but carefully made his way inside. It was still a bit exciting for the kid, getting his first pokemon and all. He slowly walked behind his big sister until they found Professor Sycamore. He was with three other people, who already had their starter pokemons. "Hello, Professor!" Lara said. The Professor looked their direction now. "Well, hello there, Lara. Long time not seen. How are you and Chesnaught?" Lara smiled when he mentioned Chesnaught, her first pokemon that she got from the professor a few years back.
"We are doing fine. However, I'm not here today for myself." She looked at Sam, who was standing shily behind his sister. "Hello there, you must be Sam. I heard a lot about you from your sister." Sycamore said. "You want your own pokemon, don't you?" Sam nodded. "Come with me, I'll show you our starters." Sam followed the professor to a table where he was introduced to three pokemon: The grass type Chespin, the fire type Fennekin and the water type Froakie. Sam had a bit of a thought, before he made his decision. "I want Froakie." He said to Professor Sycamore. The Froakie happily jumped into Sam's arms and gave him a hug. Sam hugged the frog pokemon back.
He walked with Froakie back to his sister. She had a sparkle in her eyes when she saw him with the water starter, which meant she was in for a battle. "Allright, Sam! now you have your first pokemon, it's time for your first battle! Don't worry, I have only a young Chespin on me." Sam was a bit scared, as he knew how strong his sister was, but wanted to try anyway. "Okay, Froakie, let's do this." He said as the water type jumped out of his arms. "Go, Chespin!" Lara said, and threw a pokeball towards Froakie.
"Froakie, do bubble!" Sam said. "Counter it with vine whip!" Lara said. The Chespin used his vine whip on the bubbles, making them dissapear, before smacking Froakie with it. "No, Froakie! Quick, use pound!" Froakie pounded through the vines and hit Chespin. "Don't worry, Chespin, we got him! Use tackle to finish it off!" Chespin tackled Froakie, making him faint. "You did good, Chespin. Return." Sam said, a bit sad because he just lost his first fight.
"It's okay, little bro. It was your first fight, and you did pretty good. I just have some more experience." Lara said to him with a smile. Sam cheered up a bit. "Now, I can't stay with you all the time, just make some friends and go on your adventure, okay?" Sam nodded. Lara said goodbye to Professor Sycamore before going outside. Sam went towards the people he saw earlier. He walked to the person with green clothes. "Hey. My name is Sam. Who are you?"

Arno and Spy were walking through the forest, when they suddenly heared a large creature aproach. They hid behind some trees, when they saw a big spiked creature coming their way, which didn't look like it was out of this world either. "What the hell is that?!" Spy said to Arno. "I have no idea, but it doesn't look friendly. Let's walk around it and see if we can get past unnoticed." The spy nodded, and said "Go right." The assassin also nodded, and climbed up a blocky tree, only to go around it from the right side. The spy used his cloak and went left.

"My chores aren't untill after the party tonight, so I thought: 'Why not rest a little till then?', and that's when I saw you." Shadow said while laying on his back, stretching so the sun could warm him up. He thought about the time before he re-joined the flock. It was a wonderfull life, no restrictions, no people telling you what to do, and meat as fresh as it could be. But it was very lonely, and being in the wild made you wild inside. Even if he could choose, he would still not go back to the wild, as he didn't want to loose the only thing he still had: his human side. A small breeze came and tickled Shadow's nose, making him purr a little. It was a bit deep, as he wasn't a small kitty, but it still sounded a bit cute. He liked that part of him. It was one of the fewer parts of him that didn't make people stay away from him. He closed his eyes, trying to relax some more.

Sam was a bit confused, as it was like the woman didn't even see what just happened. Only then he noticed that the girl was blind. "Well, first that paint bomb at the city hall happened, then you came into the shop, then the man with the gun came inside and tried to rob me, then he shot me, twice, and then you froze the guy's legs, and after that I hit him with a baseballbat and now he is knocked out." Sam catched his breath from saying such a long sentence, then said: "But you froze him. You are a super aren't you?"
