Roleplay Interests: Star Trek, Final Fantasy VII, Pokémon and FFXIV. Pretty much exclusively right now. Doctor Who if you can sell me on a plot idea. I am very hesitant to roleplay in an original world, because I enjoy fleshing out my characters, and a lot of times original worlds lack a lot of the information I need to effectively roleplay. I roleplay PG-13 scenarios. I'm 30 IRL, but mature themes just aren't my cup of tea in general. If you desire more, I’m open to conversation. I tend to avoid relationship-based RPs, though some of my characters are more prone to it than others. I have no control over Emet-Selch—he does what he wants.
Roleplay Style: For the most part, I can't RP a child. Which of course is entirely awkward for most Pokémon RPs, so on the whole I'd much prefer to RP a Pokémon instead of a Trainer. I also largely RP males, though I've been known to play other things. I'm also entirely fine RPing Canon characters of my preferred Fandoms, and I like to think I do a good job? You can expect two paragraphs minimum from me, pretty much universally, with no cap. Sometimes I won't shut up. That said, I try to write concise posts—meat and potatoes. Once upon a time I wrote in purple, but I really don't have time for that anymore. With certain partners I can do bursts of rapid-fire, but at that point my responses will shorten.

Celes was put on the spot by Lily, and she blinked, completely befuddled. She hadn't even considered what she'd be doing, exactly. Or she had, and had forgotten. "O-Oh, me? Ummm. Well, my plan was to raise Mist to become a strong Dragonite. I guess like uhm... maybe become the worlds greatest Dragonite Trainer? I considered just... doing Dragons, but I can't talk to those so it kinda seems like less fun." Tapping her index fingers together she continued, "...Anyway, I heard there's cool Legend-y stuff in Viore, so that's kinda why I'm here. Where there's Legends, there's Dragons! I'm sure I can find more Dratini here somewhere that I can bring back to the Dragon's Den! Right Ranulf?"
With a small nod, the Dragonite would reply, <Perhaps. It is why the village elders suggested traveling here instead of starting your journey in Johto.> Turning his gaze to Nasir he'd continue, <We will likely challenge the various Gyms once Mist grows stronger. Celes would benefit from assembling a team of other Pokémon, but...>
Putting her hands on her hips, and then realizing that messed with her balance, Celes grasped Nasir's shoulders and spoke again, "I can't talk to other Pokémon though, Ranulf! You know that. L-Like I can't just... I mean I can't just catch... whatever..."
Placing a hand to his forehead, Nasir let out a sigh. "...Celes would likely benefit from supplies." Focusing on Devon, he'd continued, "If you are willing to enter a Contest, I would be more than happy to participate." Putting a finger to his lip he'd contemplate for a moment before continuing, "If you are not willing... are you allowed to lend Pokémon to other coordinators? Perhaps I could participate with Lily."
Still pouting, Celes let out a small grumble before speaking softly, "...I only have a few things in my satchel. I have money though... dunno what I really need."
@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo Devon's answer caused Lilisette to visibly wilt. The others chimed in, and Lilisette hoped for some more information, but came up rather dry. So it really liked forest and plants. That was entirely unhelpful.
Staring at the ground, Lilisette awkwardly laughed when Selena spoke up for the second time, "Y-Yeah... that... must be awful... eheh..."
Turning on his heel, Nasir took his food and set out towards Route 13. "All right then, let's—" Cutting himself off mid sentence, he would make a complete 180 and turn back into the Café. "We should really eat here for a few."
Frantically searching the Café, Nasir's gaze would fall upon the small badly labeled restroom towards the back, tucked into an odd corner. "Quickly, go to the restroom."
@Light Lord Taking in everything the Guild Master had said, Karaha furrowed his brows, contemplating for a moment before addressing everything he possibly could. "I am aware of what transpired on the Grass Continent, and... I do believe this crisis will effect much more than just the Sand Continent. From what I can tell... it is not the same source; it is something entirely new. Unfortunately, I do not know what it is, merely ... it is."
Thinking back on the Gardevoir, the Umbreon let out a soft sigh. Running her appearance over in his head, he spoke softly, "She had wings. The Gardevoir, that is. I... it's. You see, I cannot say for certain whether or not she's responsible for the Legendary Pokémon's change of heart, however she is hostile, and she was after Devon. She said some curious things I only barely managed to overhear. You may want to ask Devon, though I'm certain he does not know her."
Hanging his head, the Moonlight Pokémon's ears flattened against his head. "...You... misunderstand my motives, though I... I do not plan to fight them. You are correct, if it is an army of dungeon dwellers we must deal with, we need something... even more fearsome. I have no plans to intercept the forces as of yet, as according to Mir—the... Sibyl... It will be a while yet until they become a true problem."
Putting a paw to the bridge of his nose, Karaha thought for a few moments before speaking. "...Please do patrol the streets, but... if you could keep this information between us. I do not wish to incite a panic, however I do want us to be prepared for the worst. I'm sure you're more capable in that than I am. If you... choose to speak to the Sol Sibyl if you... if you could keep my expedition a secret, it would be much appreciated..."
@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo Quietly following behind Selena, the Kirlia would cautiously look about her surroundings. The path was a bit unsteady, at least until they came upon the area Selena spoke of. Once inside, her eyes grew wide when Selena mentioned Celebi.
"A time-traveling Pokémon!? Here!?" Utterly stunned, Lilisette continued her verbal diarrhea, "What do you know if it!? When was the last time it came here? Do you know? How does it time travel? Ember's right, it looks pretty old, but if there's a shrine here, that must mean it comes here right? Do you know if it takes other Pokémon with it, or if it like... sends Pokémon to the future!?"
Devon's addition was certainly curious indeed, and she closed the distance between herself and Devon, her head inches from his own muzzle. "So Celebi... is from where you lived? What do you know about it though? It's in forests? You mean, not totally in the middle of a desert? Hmmm."
Karaha the Umbreon

@Light Lord At the Guild Master's request, Karaha made his way towards Glyph's desk before taking a seat.
Gaze downcast, the Umbreon would speak softly, so that perhaps if the others were still nearby they wouldn't hear much of what he had to say. "...You may or may not know, but... I visit the Sol Sibyl quite frequently. Today... today she mentioned that some world-shattering disaster is about to befall our world, and... it's of the sort that a person's... assistance is required to rectify."
Furrowing his brows he would continue, "There is a Totodile that has just arrived in town. With the Sol Sibyl's wisdom I was able to meet him at the base of Folio's Trunk. Originally my plan was to use an Escape Orb so that he could leave without falling to one of the feral Pokémon who reside there. However, what I found..."
Trailing off for a moment he let out a groan. "Someone, aside from myself was also expecting his arrival. Given that myself and the Sibyl were the only ones aware of his existence, and location... it's very... odd to me."
Placing a paw to his brow he continued, "That... woman. She... I believe she was a Gardevoir? She knew Devon by name, and... there was something off about her..."
Hanging his head, he let out a soft sigh, "...As for the calamity. Mir—the... Sibyl... she mentioned a dark force overtaking a Legendary Pokémon, and that this Pokémon plans to rally the forces of the feral ones that occupy dungeons. I must... prepare to save Folio. If you do not have any more questions, I should head off as soon as I am able."
Coming back with two waters, the barista smiled, "All right, here you go."
Exchanging currency for food, Nasir handed the breakfast croissant to Itzal, along with his water. "I wouldn't linger here for long. Are you fine to eat while we walk?"
Once inside the Café, Nasir would stay close to Itzal who seemed uncomfortable. Shooting the boy an understanding glance, he would make his way to the counter. "Excuse me... I would like two of your most nutritional meal."
The woman at the counter was rather surprised at the man's order. "...Most nutritional? Well, I have breakfast croissants, if that's enough...?"
A warm smile would cross his features, "Two of those, then, please." Pulling forward his satchel, he would pull out some money.
After a few moments, the barista would return with two breakfast croissants. "Might I ask what you'd like to drin?"
