Roleplay Interests: Star Trek, Final Fantasy VII, Pokémon and FFXIV. Pretty much exclusively right now. Doctor Who if you can sell me on a plot idea. I am very hesitant to roleplay in an original world, because I enjoy fleshing out my characters, and a lot of times original worlds lack a lot of the information I need to effectively roleplay. I roleplay PG-13 scenarios. I'm 30 IRL, but mature themes just aren't my cup of tea in general. If you desire more, I’m open to conversation. I tend to avoid relationship-based RPs, though some of my characters are more prone to it than others. I have no control over Emet-Selch—he does what he wants.
Roleplay Style: For the most part, I can't RP a child. Which of course is entirely awkward for most Pokémon RPs, so on the whole I'd much prefer to RP a Pokémon instead of a Trainer. I also largely RP males, though I've been known to play other things. I'm also entirely fine RPing Canon characters of my preferred Fandoms, and I like to think I do a good job? You can expect two paragraphs minimum from me, pretty much universally, with no cap. Sometimes I won't shut up. That said, I try to write concise posts—meat and potatoes. Once upon a time I wrote in purple, but I really don't have time for that anymore. With certain partners I can do bursts of rapid-fire, but at that point my responses will shorten.

Cravings: I want to play Emet-Selch from FFXIV so badly, willing to make compromises for this to work out. Romance or not, group or 1x1, I care little at this point! I'm happy to come up with a suitable plot and guide the story if necessary, I have a lot of ideas and I'm very flexible.

It's not as if I have anything better to do." The way she said it was odd. It was half truthful, half... not so much. "And... yeah, we were about to go on a tour when everything went south. We haven't had a decent meal in a while either so... yeah, would be nice. I can treat everyone too."

Furrowing his brows, the Zoroark thought to himself, I thought I wasn't tired, but it seems I was mistaken. That last battle must have taken a lot out of me. It's been a long time since I've been worried for Devon's safety.
In fact, it was odd. It was a familiar feeling, yet he could not actually remember a specific instance where something like that had happened. Well, it wasn't anything he'd concern himself with for the moment. Instead, he closed his eyes, beginning his descent into unconsciousness.

@Shiny Keldeo Scratching the back of her head, Celes' eyes fell downcast, "Yeah... I think so. I mean, it seems that way. He can't actually fit inside, so he should be coming to find our window right now. Extra protection and everything given what happened." Making her way over towards the window, Celes struggled to get it open, so she could better wave him down. "Anyway, um, how are you feeling? You seemed really out of it."

@Ophidian Blinking, Pent raised a brow, "...Misery builds character? O-Oh dear, that explains... a lot." Gulping, he stared the man in the eyes, "I-I think my live has been... nothing but character building exercises. I think... I... can pass on the caves filled with Zubat. O-Or really even sleeping outside. Isn't there a Pokémon Center... somewhere?"
As Jinx's words processed, the man became filled with dread. Does he actually mean to sleep outside...?
@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo When both Trainers reassured the Zoroark about the fire, he let out a soft sigh. "I'm glad to hear that. Not to say it's... a good thing, but at least we're not in any immediate danger."
Making his way towards the bed once the invite went out, he curled up into a loose ball. "It seems everyone enjoys when I am used as a cushion, so... yes I suppose so. If you believe there's enough space, that is." Glancing over at Brent, Nasir raised a brow. "Is... that abnormal? When I was with June... she always used me as a pillow as well. Although I suppose it was just myself, and not a nearly full party."

@Shiny Keldeo A small frown marred the girl's face. "Yeah... I kinda thought that'd be the only option. It's... okay though, I mean it's not like we didn't always sleep outside anyway, it was just... different kinda." Moving to get a better look at Ranulf she continued, "Is that okay with you? That scary group might come back, and I'd feel better with you outside. Even though I wish you could be inside with me."
With a nod and a warm smile, Ranulf replied, <Of course it's fine by me. As he said, I can sleep by your window, and protect you from potential threats. Sleep well, all right Celes?>
Closing her eyes, a wide smile crossed her lips, "If you're sure! Well, Brooks, Ranulf, I should probably get to bed. I kinda wanted to talk to Lily, if she's up to it. See ya tomorrow!" With a wave, the girl took off towards her dorm.

@Shiny Keldeo Stepping into the room after obtaining a key from the nurse, Celes poked her head in, Mist at her heels. The small Dratini had remained silent, despite being pleased at the outcome of the confrontation. Slithering into the room, she found a nice corner and coiled.
"Hey Lily... looks like you're still up. Whatcha doing?"

@Ophidian Confusion painted Pent's brow at Jinx muttered commentary. He didn't say much of anything, though his expression was transparent, ...I'm adorable!?
Pausing, it took him a few moments to finally say something of value, "E-Er, bugs and mud? And... bramble bushes? Are you... serious!? That sounds absolutely terrible, w-why would we go there!? I thought... Viore was supposed to be nice!" Sheer horror was clear across his features.
Placing a palm to his forehead, Pent's Lucario communicated to its Trainer through aura, ...I do believe he isn't serious.
@Light Lord Eyes lit up once Lilisette caught sight of the feast. "Wooooooow! This all looks so amazing! I've never had a feast like this before, mom wasn't ever a very good cook! I'm so hyped!"
Turning on her heel, she paused before realizing she should probably address Glyph's thoughts on the evening. "Yeah uh... I probably overestimated Devon's... um... stamina? I'm not gonna do that again! So um... sorry, both of you. Anyway, Devon did awesome, as did Selena and Ember! They totally do live up to their names and stuff." Realizing she misspoke, she covered her mouth. "Oh wow, I'm so hungry I'm delusional. Ooookay, just gonna... eat. Thanks for all the awesome food, Dia!"
Spinning to face Devon, Lilisette jumped up and down, "Yeah! Pyrrha! I have stuff I have to ask her. Meet you there!" With those words said, the hyper Kirlia raced over to get the best seat she possibly could.
@Light Lord "Yeah... I remember you saying that, but it's like. I can't picture anyone by the description? At all? Not saying I'm a history nerd or anything, but you'd think that'd be like... dunno, pretty rememberable?" With a grin, Lilisette was happy to change the subject, "Food would be totally great... man... it feels like it's going to take forever to get back to the Guild. My head reallllly hurts."
Her expression faltered when Devon brought up the Gardevoir once more. "...Um, as I was kinda saying before like. A Gardevoir with black wings is... really... unique? It's also something someone would've written somewhere in the Chronicles of Devon... and that's not the name or anything, I'm just messing with you." Flashing Devon a quick wink, she went back to being a bit worried for their situation. "...Anyway, jokes aside, it wasn't in those books, so I assume that never happened. Mind you I never met Devon or anything, he was already back... wherever humans go after they win. I assume it's home. But... yeah. It's just. I'm worried about you, you know?"
@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo "Oh, that Team disappeared? I think I knew that... that sucks, sorry to hear that. Your dad's probably pretty shaken up about it. Would kinda explain his um..." Attempting to choose her words carefully, she continued, "...distant demeanor? Anyway, sounds like it'll be fun and stuff though...."
Pausing, Celty considered Devon's words regarding their disappearance, before finally responding, "Yeah, that's a good question. I mean, I assume not since it's been years... and they're still apparently missing. I hope they're lying low or something and not..." Cringing, the Mawile averted her gaze. "...Uhhh..." A topic change was in order. "So uh... did you... were you guys training? Should Devon join you?"

A small smile crossed his maw when he thought about Celes, and how hopefully everything would be fine now. Nasir's ears pricked as he heard an interruption in the television program. ...An alert? Hm.
Making his way over towards the beds so that he could watch, he furrowed his brows as the reporter spoke of an apparent fire in a location he had never heard of before. He muttered to no one in particular, "...It would be odd for such a large fire to be caused by a mere Pokémon battle. Hmm..." Trailing off, his thoughts raced, part of him wondering if this news would effect their journey. Nasir had enough danger for a lifetime, or so he at least felt in his heart.
"Bitterwood Forest...? Is that nearby here, or are we safe for the time being?"

@Shiny Keldeo Still awkwardly hugging the Dragonite, Celes let out a small sigh at Brooks' words. "...Oh... heh. Um, I mean... we're not really. Our relationship isn't like what it is like with most people and Pokémon. Even though Ranulf isn't my actual dad, he's... been like my dad since as long as I can remember. Actually, I can't really even remember a time before him, but he says he rescued me from the wreckage of a ship." A warm smile, crossed her lips as she backed away from Ranulf, "Anyway, I'm sorry I got mad, Ranulf. Just promise me you won't ditch my friends next time, okay?"
Hanging his head, the Dragonite let out a sigh, <If that's what you really want I... really don't want to upset you again, Celes. I just want you to understand that I couldn't bear to see you injured.>
A smile tugged at Celes' lips, "I'll be fine! I survived that shipwreck right! Anyway... I think Lily wanted us to go stay with her. Oh! Um, Brooks right? You're an experienced Trainer... what should I do with Ranulf? He's not my Pokémon so I can't like... put him in a ball or anything. So like, what should I do...? Where can he stay?"

@Ophidian Jinx's initial words caused the professor to raise a curious brow, "I ... see. I ah... appreciate it. Truly." Looking over to his leg, he let out a soft groan, "What... even happened? I recall being hit by something... I briefly remember falling into you...?" Rubbing his brow, he continued, "I suppose I can dwell on this later. For now, let us head towards..." Still enfeebled, it took a few moments for Pent to recall the information, "Route... 701?" Though it was said as a question, he was fairly confident in what he had said. Finally, he'd continue, "... Thank you for... helping me. Now then, let us make haste."
Despite how he phrased his last sentence, it truly would only be Jinx making any sort of haste, given his current predicament.

The tall Zoroark made his way over to the girl, flashing her a toothy smile, "Perhaps tell him you forgive him? Or, if you do not..." Thinking for a moment, Nasir then continued, "...Perhaps at least tell him that you will try to forgive him in time? I understand it must be difficult, but I do truly understand how he must have felt at that very moment. Had Devon not returned me to my Pokéball, it's likely I may have tried the very same tactic."
"Um... okay. Go um... you guys should get some sleep I guess since you're doing stuff in the morning. I'll... talk to Ranulf... I guess..."
Coiled around Celes was the small Dratini. Looking up to her Trainer, Mist finally moved in a way that would allow her to walk with ease, <They're right... you should talk to him. I bet he feels really awful.>
Hanging her head, Celes turned on her heel towards the exit. "...Yeah... you're probably right..."

Making her way through the doors, she noted Ranulf had seemingly struck up a conversation with the man from earlier. Huh, can he talk to Dragonite too? Approaching the man who had surrounded himself with his team, she remained quiet in her approach.
At this point, Ranulf was about to speak to Brooks, despite knowing it was impossible to truly communicate. That was when he felt a gentle tug on his tail. Eyes wide with surprise, he turned his head to see the small girl. <Celes...!> She remained quiet. <I'm... sorry.>
Tears welled up in the girl's eyes, and she ran over towards the large Dragon-type, embracing him in an overly dramatic hug.
