At Devon's words, Celes chimed in, "I'm not scared! More... confused? I guess? It's just all kind of weird..."

The others in the group discussed legends, and Celes stared up at Ranulf, pondering. "Doesn't Blackthorn have legends too? I can't really remember them, though. Prrrobably because I didn't pay enough attention..."

Putting a paw to his chin, the Dragonite furrowed his brows. <There are a few, yes. Mainly about the creature dwelling in the seas to the west. Ah, and of course the creatures reborn from ashes.>

"Hmmm... I guess that's different, huh..." Thinking for a moment, she furrowed her brows at Brent's words, "Wait... there's a legend about a Pokémon who created like... everything? That sounds so uh... unbelievable, but I bet it's true. It actually would make a lot of sense if it were."

While the humans conversed, Nasir was deep in thought. Perhaps once of these Magical Creatures is the one I seek? The one that can bring back June...? Ah, but that would be too easy, wouldn't it..."

Gladion

Silvally: Grass Memory

Falling gracefully from the vortex, Silvally landed before standing proud; a wince barely noticeable upon its visage. Taking a few moments to regain its strength, the now-Grass-type made its way over towards the Popplio with a smile. <Brilliantly executed!> With a small frown, the chimera noticed how drained the Popplio seemed to be. <Hmmm. Are you all right?>

Gladion was smiling slightly as well as the move completed, his green eyes falling upon Sierra. "That is a Z-Move. There's a crystal associated with each element, as well as special ones designed for specific Pokémon. My father's research indicated that the source of the crystal's power came from energy leaking over from another dimension. Why it manifests the way it does, your guess is as good as mine."

Addressing Luna once more he continued, "You shouldn't be embarrassed by the Z-Move Dance. It's symbolic to the people of Alola."

Once called upon, the Heliolisk took a few steps forward. "Certainly. An evacuation of the residential districts is in effect starting today. We have approximately a week to carry this out, though the sooner it's completed, the better. Unfortunately, it is not feasible to send everyone to Sahra Town, and as such the merchant town of Gerudo will have to do. I have already spoke with them, and they have agreed to set up enough tents to support our population. Sahra Town has stated they will accept any and all refugees, however we simply do not have the manpower to escort our citizens such a great distance. If they are capable of making the journey on their own, then it's suggested they do so."

Averting his gaze, the Heliolisk paused for a moment before continuing, "For those who refuse to evacuate, we have prepared quarters for them at the guild, however it is limited. If they do not comply, and insist on staying in their homes, there is little we can do for them. When the time comes, we will need to fortify the entrance to the trunk. A blockade will be created in three days time. After that period, the only way to leave Folio will be via flight." Taking a breath, he continued, "Now, this evacuation will only last until the fighting ceases. After that, I urge our citizens to return immediately."

Glancing at Glyph for a moment, his gaze then returned to the crowd before him. "Once Folio is deemed safe, we will be taking in the merchants of Gerudo, for dwelling in the open will become increasingly dangerous as time goes on. It also might be necessary for us to send a contingent of guild members to Sahra Town to help defend the largest population of civilized Pokémon on the Sand Continent."

"Those who are not evacuating citizens will be sent to nearby dungeons to recruit as many willing Pokémon as you can. We will need reinforcements if we are to get through this fight unscathed." Turning to address Glyph, Robel spoke, "Is there anything else you would like for me to cover?"

"Raiden...! Ah, yes, please do come in." In a small hurry, the Gardevoir made her way towards the door, opening it a crack and sticking her head out for a brief few moments before fully opening the door. "It's so lovely to see you again!"

Alodi the Delphox

[Altepa Desert - Rabao Spring]

Once out of the dungeon, the duo made their way to a small oasis outpost in the middle of the Altepa Desert. Knelt before the spring, Alodi began drinking from it, cupping water in his paws. After a few repititions of the motion, he stood up and turned to Piper with a smile. With a paw, he gestured to a large tent across the water, "I believe they sell food there. I would be willing to get us both something to eat, if you're hungry. There's still quite a ways before we reach the nearest town." Concern creasing his brow, the Delphox gave the Normal-type a look over. "I haven't asked, how are you holding up?"

When she answered his question, the Delphox put a paw to his maw, "Is that right? Well, I wouldn't say I come here often anymore. I'm sure by the time you decided to settle in, I was already gone." Upon spotting the floor's exit a straight shot away, he began to head towards it. "I've been traveling for a while. Actually, I've only recently returned to the Sand Continent. It was after that strange vision that I decided to come back."

Once on the next floor, he turned to the Skitty, "Might I ask, how well do you take traveling across the desert? There's a village that's somewhat of a halfway point between here and Folio, if you'd like to rest. I'm sure we'll get to our destination before the feast, so don't worry about that."

When the Feraligatr and Luxio entered, Lilisette hesitantly lifted an arm, waving to him. Who is he....? I feel like I'm losing my mind, but never have I heard of a Feraligatr that hung around Folio during Devon's time... What Raiden did next surprised her. A Mental Herb? That's really specific...

Pausing, she furrowed her brows, giving a slight bow to the Water-type, "Uh... thank you."

While everyone was excited, Lilisette was rather visibly bothered by the situation. She couldn't figure out why he gave them the herb, and what it could mean. Perhaps it meant nothing at all, but the fact he was never mentioned in any texts bothered her.

Finally, she decided to speak, "So... This Gauntlet. I guess we might as well get started? I mean, if that's everything you wanted to show us, Brick. Oh! I guess I should ask; where do we gather supplies here? We probably need a few Oran berries, and Apples at the very least. I'm sure whatever else we need we can find in the trunk on the way down to Altepa..."

When Luna mentioned she completed a trial, the teen's gaze fell to her Z-Ring, as well as the Waterium-Z. "I suppose I can understand that." When the contest-goer spoke up, Gladion's focus shifted to her. Raising his arm up to give the girl a proper look at his Z-Ring and Steelium-Z, he then glanced at the Alolan when she requested a demonstration. Considering for a moment, he took stock of the Popplio's expression before pulling a case of CDs from his pouch pocket. "If you'd like for your Popplio to perform Hydro Vortex on Silvally, that can be arranged. However, a proper battle will have to wait." Pulling out a Green-colored disc from a sleeve, Gladion moved to Silvally, popping open the drive on the side of its head, and switching discs.

Once pushing the drive back inside of the Pokémon's head, Silvally's eyes widened as new memories flooded its mind. The parts of its body that were formerly red now, in an instant, became a bright shade of green.

Taking a moment to recover from having its memories swapped, Silvally closed its eyes, letting out a sigh. Finally, they'd address the Fennekin's question. <Talking about the matter does not bother me in the slightest, though I cannot say the same for Gladion. His mother is currently comatose due to the neurotoxins left from when she merged with a Beast. Now then.> Green eyes focused upon Torrent, <I believe your Trainer would like to demonstrate your Z-Move. Do not feel the need to hold back.>

Making his way towards one side of the battlefield, Gladion gestured for Silvally to take its place. "Silvally! Let's demonstrate to Sierra the power of Alola."

Celes somehow managed to convinced Ranulf into carrying her as the group pressed onward. She remained oddly quiet at first, staring up at Ranulf with a large grin. However, that grin faded when she heard an unexpected voice coming from nearby.

Nasir, and Ace who perched himself on Devon's shoulder were equally startled by the cryptic speech. Who is that man...? What is he referring to? ...I hope he does not mean Devon. I will not allow for him to get caught up in something so dangerous... The illusion fox would narrow his gaze at the man as he walked past the group, but it did not last long as he disappeared shortly after.

"Um. I'm not imagining things, am I?" <You're not.> The small girl looked up at the Dragonite with wide, confused eyes before looking over the rest of the group who seemed equally stunned. "At least he's gone now..."

With creased brows, Nasir muttered to Devon, "I do not like what that man is implying. Perhaps it was a mistake to come here."

From Devon's shoulder, Ace replied, <I wouldn't worry about it. He's probably just crazy.>

Shaking his head, the Zoroark averted his gaze. "Perhaps, but I do not get that feeling..."

Raising a brow at the girl's odd introduction, the teen thought to himself, 'You think...?'

As the girl explained, Gladion put a hand to his brow, nodding along. "I see..." Once the explanation finished, the teen's green eyes focused on the Alolan. "I wouldn't exactly compare Gyms to the Trials of Alola. Of which, I'm curious. You left the island without completing the challenge? I only know of one other... no, two if you count myself."

Silvally's gaze averted somewhat when asked about their journey. <It's a complicated situation... Gladion's mother is in a coma. He's had to take over her job... but it's been difficult on him. The rest of our companions are either watching over his mother, or taking care of the injured Pokémon back at Paradise...> A frown marred his muzzle, <Gladion never experienced a Trainer's journey. Not in the way most do. He's determined to do it properly this time, and his wish is to bring more Pokémon to Paradise when his journey ends.>

"Understanding..." With the words falling out of her mouth, her eyes fell to the ground, in thought. Quietly, she listened to Brick as he continued to explain the concept, and the other's reaction to it. Once finished, he presented their first mission. With interest, Lilisette leaned over, surprised by the request. This was their first mission? Just delivering a bag of fruit? That can't be too hard... hopefully. The bad stuff doesn't happen for a few more days I don't think anyway?

When Brick mentioned surviving the desert, Lilisette paled. "Oh... I hadn't considered that. You're going to have a hard time, Devon. Not saying we're not going to have it any better..." Looking to Selena, she attempted a small smile, "And uh... it's not that soon! We'll be fine! It'll be easy..."

Shaking her head in response to having questions, she spoke, "Nope. Not right now anyway. Go on."

A warm smile crossed the Delphox's maw at the Kitten Pokémon's response. "Wonderful! And I would not be overly concerned, typically feasts are held in the evening, and last I checked it is still morning. Though I suppose that would be difficult to tell here, wouldn't it~?"

Taking a quick look around to get his bearings, he began to press onward. "So then, miss Piper, have you lived here your whole life? If so, I'm legitimately impressed that I've never seen you before."

A wicked smirk played across the Toxic Lizard's maw as Datsu shared his plans in detail. "My, my. Aren't you thorough? Are you sure you're not behind whatever's stirring everyone up~? Ah, but I know that is not your style."

Taking the Toxicroak's hand in hers, she licked her lips, "I would love to join you." Shooting a quick glance at her harem, her attention was then fixed back upon Datsu. "I take it this will be an outing for the two of us? Truth be told, I'm not sure my lovely little morons are useful for much at this time. As you've stated, they're... quite paranoid."

"...I assume that's why she left." Furrowing his brows, a worried sigh escaped his maw for a moment before his attention was back upon the Skitty. "As for why I'm here? Well, actually I am on my way out of here. I came from much deeper in, and given that I've retrieved this artifact, I was going to make my way to Folio. The Sol Sibyl likely would know what to do with this better than I would."

Looking over the Skitty, his brows furrowed as he considered her situation. She seems hungry. I'm surprised she's survived in this dungeon for so long... Straightening himself, Alodi offered a hand to the Skitty. "I'm Alodi. If you'd like, you're welcome to accompany me. I'm certain staying here for much longer will only bring misfortune. I'm familiar with some of Folio's guildmembers, so I would be able to find lodging for both of us. Ah, and do not forget the food." With a wink he'd continue, "I hear that Troupe Relm is in town. I'm certain they'd be throwing quite the feast in their honor."

Keeping an arm upon his sleeve, the Delphox watched the small thief carefully, knowing that what she really wanted was his flute. If it were of lesser importance, he'd care significantly less. However, as she began her reply, Alodi's brows furrowed with concern. She's telling the truth... That I can tell, but why? Why would there be such a frightening Pokémon here of all places? Only a choice few natives would even know about the Sun Flute...

Picking himself up, the Delphox's gaze continued to linger upon the Skitty. "So, a dark purple Pokémon capable of even bringing a Blaziken to its knees? How disturbing..." Lingering concern played across his features, a small sigh escaping his maw. "As for why I wanted to know? I suppose telling you wouldn't hurt. As you may or may not know, those of my kind possess future sight. Of course, the power of such sight varies on the individual, and my precognitive powers are not nearly on the same level, as say Folio's Sol Sibyl. With that in mind, I saw something... rather odd. Not one of my typical predictions. It involved this Sun Flute, a strange fountain, and a small blue Pokémon."

Averting his gaze, the Fire-types brows furrowed in thought for a moment before continuing, "I saw Folio Town's destruction. Or rather, near-destruction? However, it was saved by this blue Pokémon, and a larger Pokémon that I cannot even begin to describe."

Checking to make sure the flute was still in his possession, he looked to the Skitty, "Is that explanation sufficient? Ah yes, I forgot the most important reason I asked about here in particular. I had a friend who lived in Quicksand Caves, the dungeon located just past here. She's nowhere to be found, and the few who dared speak to me informed me that she had left, but they would not explain why."
