Roleplay Interests: Star Trek, Final Fantasy VII, Pokémon and FFXIV. Pretty much exclusively right now. Doctor Who if you can sell me on a plot idea. I am very hesitant to roleplay in an original world, because I enjoy fleshing out my characters, and a lot of times original worlds lack a lot of the information I need to effectively roleplay. I roleplay PG-13 scenarios. I'm 30 IRL, but mature themes just aren't my cup of tea in general. If you desire more, I’m open to conversation. I tend to avoid relationship-based RPs, though some of my characters are more prone to it than others. I have no control over Emet-Selch—he does what he wants.
Roleplay Style: For the most part, I can't RP a child. Which of course is entirely awkward for most Pokémon RPs, so on the whole I'd much prefer to RP a Pokémon instead of a Trainer. I also largely RP males, though I've been known to play other things. I'm also entirely fine RPing Canon characters of my preferred Fandoms, and I like to think I do a good job? You can expect two paragraphs minimum from me, pretty much universally, with no cap. Sometimes I won't shut up. That said, I try to write concise posts—meat and potatoes. Once upon a time I wrote in purple, but I really don't have time for that anymore. With certain partners I can do bursts of rapid-fire, but at that point my responses will shorten.

@Shiny Keldeo@Light Lord Rolling his eyes, the Absol kept pressing forward, though he was very keenly listening to the group's hushed whispers. Do they seriously think I cannot hear them?
A grin widened upon the Dark-type's muzzle, "So you're on a mission~? How wonderful. Judging by the Poliwrath with you, I'd take it that it's your first? Well, good luck of course." Glancing back at Devon he'd continue, "You're wise not to trust me. Though, as I said, I'm not here to cause harm."
The group converse amongst themselves, causing the Absol to shake his head, "I hope you realize I can hear you."
Ugh... what is that guy's problem!? He must be after Devon, but... If I attack him... Wilting considerably, Lilisette gave up on powering up an attack, hanging her head somewhat, but keeping her eye on the potentially dangerous individual. "...we probably shouldn't get ahead of him. Having him at our backs makes us more vulnerable..."
"Clever girl~ She's right, you know. Having your backs to a dangerous Pokémon is asking to get killed! Not that I would attack you, but you certainly do not seem to believe me.

Following the group down the stairs, he'd look around. "Hmm, it's still clear. How odd."
Robel the Heliolisk
[Folio Town - Outside Sibyl's Retreat]
Making his way through the Residential District at a brisk pace, the Heliolisk took a few glances around him to ensure he was not being followed. After a minute or so, the Heliolisk came upon the tall tower that housed the Sibyl.
The two Grovyle who guarded the entrance looked upon the Heliolisk with some concern. "Robel...? I figured you would be at the meeting."
Furrowing his brows, the Electric-type replied, "Had I time, I would be. However, I need immediate audience with the Sibyl."
"We can let you through, but that doesn't mean you'll make it past Semih..."
Letting out a groan, the Heliolisk passed through the thick stone doors. "That's a chance I'll have to take."
[Sibyl's Retreat]
Once inside the building colloquially referred to as Heaven's Tower, he made his way through the tower's various levels. He then found himself stopped on the level before his destination.
"Ah, look what we have here. A male. Who exactly are you, and how did you even get in?"
Frowning, the Heliolisk pushed through the Braixen who attempted to block him, "I don't have time for this Lissa."
The Fire-type responded with confused shock as Robel casually named her, and brushed her off. "What the hell!? How do you know who I am?!"
"I'm not going to answer that. Leave me alone, I have business with the Sibyl."
With that, the Heliolisk ascended to the final level. A lone Lopunny stood before the door, her hands on her hips.
@Stale Pizza It's technically closed since we have a pretty good character roster/chemistry going, but if you can sell me on an idea I might be able to work around it.
@MankeyMankey Raising a brow, the fox looked over Piper with a rather confused expression. Almost as if he wasn't used to be complimented. His confusion transmuted into slight embarrassment when the kitten patted his leg. Eyes wide, he felt his face flush under his fur. "...A-Ah..." A small smile then played across his maw as his gaze fell downcast. However, the smile soon turned into a frown as he began to think of how they might escape their predicament.
"Hmmm... I believe the choice boils down to whether we want to fight Sandstorm agitated Pokémon, or Pokémon that were possibly provoked in other ways. What to do, what to do..."
Closing his eyes, he considered everything for a moment. "I will leave the choice to you. I'm fairly certain we will be attacked here if we linger for too long, but as you mentioned we could position ourselves in a way that would prevent us from being surrounded. However, if we enter a dungeon, we have a fairly good chance of being able to relax. Most dungeons within ruins have sort of a staging area... it's more often than not devoid of danger."

@Light Lord Gaze downcast, the Embrace Pokémon listened to the Water-types explanation. Finally, she managed a sad reply, "...I see. I'm sorry.." Looking up with misty eyes she'd continue, "I wish... I wish there were something I could do to help, but... I suppose an ear is all I'm good for..." A sorrowful chuckle escaped her lips, "I hope... I really do hope you can get through to her. That all sounds terribly dangerous..."
@Light Lord A red-headed female wearing casual attire and gloves made her way through the crowded walkway; a silver briefcase in her hand. Everything is so much calmer here. I wonder if any good restaurants are open... Looking around, her eyes were drawn to a cab that pulled over nearby. Out stepped a teen who appeared foreign. Why would someone vacation here of all places? And alone... he's just a kid. Well, he's probably 18 or 19, and he carries himself maturely. Still though...
Now caught up to the teen, the woman would casually slide up beside him, "You're not from around here, are you?"

Personality: Noriko is strong of body and mind, and takes it upon herself to look after other CCG investigators, especially the junior members. She is perceived as quiet and motivated by her job, however she will open up to a choice few. The red-head is reserved and keeps her poise, thus keeping relations at a professional level. Raised with the pretense that everyone is dangerous, Noriko finds it difficult to truly trust another. Despite this upbringing, she does not live in constant paranoia, and understands that alliances are necessary.
This investigator's loyalties lie with the Commission of Counter Ghoul. Having been raised by them, she came to realize that while not all ghouls are dangerous, the CCG is designed to protect the greater good, saving countless people. As such, the CCG continues to have her support.
Biography: Being born and raised in the Sunlit Garden, Noriko was molded into a talented Ghoul Investigator.

Turning to Brent, Nasir would give a nod of agreement, "I do like the sound of lunch. Devon?"
Taking off from Devon's shoulder, the Starly circled the group, chirping excitedly, <I'm dying over here! Let's eat!>

A competitive spirit and a want to improve is something everyone should strive for, but..." Looking to Silvally, he'd shoot it an apologetic glance, "When I started training Silvally, I was short-sighted. I thought only of growing more powerful. Silvally felt the same way I did, and trained really hard. It tore a muscle in its rear leg, and was unable to walk for a week..."
@Shiny Keldeo@Light Lord "My, my, it didn't take you long at all." The words called out from the room behind the group, and in a few moments, an Absol stepped through, a smirk playing across his maw. "Musty fur? I'm certain I smell a lot better than that."
Tensing up, the Kirlia turned on a heel, ready to attack the unknown Pokémon. "Have you been following us!?"
At Lilisette's outburst the Absol grinned, licking his lips, "No, no. I was heading to Gerudo, and appear to have departed at the same time as you have." Waving a paw he'd continue, "You can drop your guard~ I have no intention of harming you."
Still not listening to the Absol's words, Lilisette prepared an attack.
Continuing forwards towards the staircase, the Dark-type shrugged off her hostility, "Tsk, tsk."

The doors opened into a Pokémon Sanctuary, not unlike the one located in Paradise. "Welcome to Sanctuary! I'm sure you would all like to get settled, so let's get you to your rooms first." Gesturing for the party to follow, the turned a right, heading down a long hallway that seemed to lead away from the preserve. A long line of doors could be seen, and after a minute of walking, Lucius finally stopped to turn around.
"As you can see, your rooms have your names on them, and..." Pulling out a few key-cards, he distributed them to the group, "These are your keys. They also can be used to access several facilities within Sanctuary, so don't lose them! Once your things are put away, meet back here. Our Branch Manager is quite excited to meet everyone."
