Character Personality: Alicia is not a nice person. From her earliest years she has been out for herself first with other people only a distant second when she thinks of them at all. Her power has also partially led to a god complex due to her abilities. She expects people to fawn on her and when people do not she becomes unpleasant and vindictive. Alicia is fairly clever and quick witted. Though she is far from a genius she takes a lot of precautions and always has layers upon a layers of safety nets.

Warning: The Empyrean should be considered extremely dangerous. The full extent of her abilities are not known and her actions seem random. Encounters between the Empyrean and law enforcement as well as other superhumans almost always involves civilian casualties. Avoiding her is advised.

Allure: The Empyrean draws people like moths to a flame. People who look at her want to be close to her and find themselves having a hard time with the idea of acting to hurt her. If you can not see her you are unaffected by her aura. If the light she emits is completely blocked out her allure does not function.
Cloning: If the Empyrean touches a person she can grow clones of that person complete with a set of similar super-human abilities if the subject was a super-human. Her clones retain up to all their memories depending on how long she was in contact with the person being cloned, skills, and physical features but their personalities are often very different and always include a fanatical devotion and loyalty towards her. She can grow two clones at once, one from each of her hands and it takes about a minute to grow one. She can with effort control what sort of clothing they are spawned with if any.

"Welcome to your new life." Her voice was seductive and alluring. "I have fashioned you, built you up, for this." Her glow was intense. It made looking at her face as she spoke difficult as she leaned over the shuddering flesh of the newly born clone. And in the blurry eyes of the newly born clone she could see the adoration already beginning to grow. "I have chosen to grant you the gift of life in my service. All I ask in return is your loyalty."
The clone slowly nodded. And as he did her hand touched him again, banishing the grogginess and spreading a fire as the cloning process completed. A costume formed as well, a reflection of what the original hero had worn before he had been abducted and copied. "Rise..." Her resonant and beautiful voice commanded and the man rose.
"Show me your power." She commanded again and the man raised an arm. Fire bloomed around his hand and then began to rush up and down in a frenzied motion. After a moment the woman spoke again. "Enough. Your power will suffice." Her smile was not so beautiful as the glow faded away and she looked human once more. "Immolate yourself." Immediately the man burst into flames and began to scream as he burnt to a crisp.
The woman turned away from the clone with her unpleasant smile on her face and one of her hands reached over to the table beside her where a frozen arm sat in a tray of ice. "It seems they don't have to be alive." The Empyrean spoke as if she was musing.

I'm planning on getting to work on a post soon. I started a Lyger post that takes place after the Cowl's night on the town, but I'm obviously not rushing to get that one up at least until that arc has concluded completely.

While we do have a rule that says no preestablished heroes in the game, that is more for PCs and doesn't really account for previous generations, though the previous generations would not have been a prominent fixture in everyday life the the current generation of heroes are, as this is the first generation of such public heroes and villains.

Quick post up, just getting Icon into the ruckus. Unfortunately, now I have to call it a night. Though I think maybe tomorrow night I might hit up the chatroom.
Icon had just finished helping the LHFD get a large fire under control and was on his way to the next when he noticed something out of the ordinary, even for a night like this. Not too far from his current position he saw what looked to be a massive brawl between two metahumans. As he focused in on the fight, he recognized one of the participants as the spider-like woman who had helped fight off a giant demon snake during D-Day. The other was the Greek themed man who he had fought several days before, the same man who’s ally had teleported him to China. From the looks of things, the spider woman wasn’t fairing very well. Icon could see the man in Greek armor not only had the upper hand in the fight, but he was utterly brutalizing the woman.
Not tonight. Icon thought to himself as he raced toward the two combatants.
Icon hadn’t forgotten the last time he had gone toe to toe with the Greek, who was capable of giving just as good as he got. Though it seemed that Icon was getting through to the man, his partner had gotten the jump on him and teleported him away, allowing the two of them to escape. Now Icon knew to be more aware, and he was ready for any surprises that the pair might throw at him.
Icon rocketed toward the Greek, who had the spider woman by the hair and was dragging her along the ground, as if he were the villain in some 80’s slasher movie. Icon barreled into the Greek with his shoulder, the impact on par with that of a speeding freight train. The Greek dropped the woman as Icon grabbed him, and punched him as he slammed the Greek into the side of a burning building, scaring the façade with the Greek’s body.
“Why is it, every time I see you, you’re attacking a woman?” Icon asked angrily as he continued punching the Greek as they flew against the building, then Icon suddenly pulled up, stopping in midair as he released the Greek, sending him crashing hard into the burnt out husk of a work van. Icon had taken his mysterious foe around the block, and back. He gently touched down beside the spider woman and glanced down at her to make sure she was okay. Then he stepped toward the wreckage of the van and stopped.
“This time, stay down.” he said, knowing that his opponent would certainly not.

I don't know what else to say or suggest. The Cowl's current plans in Lost Haven is probably the current "Event" that most players are reacting to. How is Racheli (and Tearstone if we want to include her too) reacting to the violence that has broken out in Lost Haven? Maybe they could run into another player's character while reacting to the chaotic environment that has engulfed Lost Haven. I guess they could try to get into the Arachne-Polemos arc, although I don't know what they could do. I wanted Icon to get involved because of three reasons:
a) Icon has already faced Polemos (Icon got teleported to China). I like to see Icon be like: "You're the guy associated with that metahuman who teleported me to China. That was so not cool".
b) The fight (if you can call it that - see reason c) went through the area where Icon was last scene in NMS's last post.
c) Arachne just got wrecked, so she needs all the help she can get.

Edit: Also, Icon, are you ready for Round 2 with Polemos? Words cannot describe the beatdown that she just received.
