<Snipped quote by nitemare shape>

Well, the image provided for Lyger is Black Panther. I always wanted to call a female version of Electro, Electra (particularly Elle from Heroes for some strange reason...). Thunderbolt and Boom have the platinum blond hair color of Quicksilver and his color scheme for their costumes. I called War-Pulse 'Winter Soldier' due to my fan-casting for this roleplay several pages ago.

Also, messing up Aubrey's name is a call back to the Demon Invasion arc where he does not remember her.

I would have to think about it. And I will respond to your PM as soon as possible.

Yeah, since I can't draw for shit...that was the closest I could find for what his costume looks like
Yeah, that was definitely interesting
@nitemare shape Oh, by the way, how do you feel about Josie coming in and shredding up the shop Kyle is in? Do you need it for any other plot points, or do you just need the NPCs?

I need it for some plot points

Kyle walked through the front doors of Brewed Awakenings and immediately knew that something was wrong. His co-worker Sarah barely acknowledged him as he entered the coffee shop. He went into the employee area behind the counter to put his jacket away and punch in for his shift, and when he returned to the main counter he was stunned by how quiet it was. Granted, the mid evenings were generally slow, but this was different.

“Hey, what’s going on?” Kyle asked Sarah. “Where’s Grace?”

“She’s in her office, she had some…visitors earlier. She seems kind of shaken up.” Sarah told him, her voice devoid of the humor that he had grown accustomed to.

“Who were they?”

“I don’t know, there were three guys in suits. I think it has something to do with the riots.” Sarah told him.

“The riots? But we weren’t…” his words trailed off as he made his way back to Grace’s office. Brewed Awakenings hadn’t been harmed in the riots. In fact, the riots only extended about three blocks south of the coffee shop. So why anybody would be coming to talk to Grace about the riots was beyond him. Something didn’t seem right, and he needed to know what was going on.

He knocked on Grace’s office door and pushed open the door without waiting for a response. When he entered the office, he saw Grace sitting behind her desk holding her head in her hands. Her eyes were puffy and her makeup was smudged, it was clear that she’d been crying.

“Grace, what’s up?” Kyle asked as he sat down across from her.

“I, I don’t know.” Grace admitted. “I had no choice, I had to sign over the deed to the building.”

“You what? Why? To who?” Kyle asked, unable to process what he was hearing.

“Don’t worry about it.” Grace told him.

“Grace, I can help you. I know people that can help with this, but I have to know what happened.” Kyle implored her. He knew that she’d never just sign over the deed without a good reason, and she wasn’t the type of woman to scare easily. Something had clearly happened, and he needed to know what that was, and who was responsible.

“These men came by, they said they were from the Renaissance Project. They offered to pay for general expenses and protection, and would just take 10 percent of the profits of the shop. When I told them ‘no,’ they threatened my mother. I had no choice.”

“Grace, I’m going to help you get out of this. I…I’m going to go and talk to some people and see if we can’t figure something out.” Kyle said as he got up and left her office. He went back to the employee coat room and grabbed his things before heading back out into the cold March air. He didn’t know anything about this so called Renaissance Project, but he was willing to bet that it was connected in some way to The Shroud Syndicate.

As Kyle walked down the street away from Brewed Awakenings, he reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. As he did so, he nearly jumped as the phone began going off in his hand. He looked at the caller ID, and saw that it was Harry that was calling.

“Harry, I was just about to call you. I have a lead, I need you to look-” he was cut off.

“No time, there are more pressing matters. Come to The Garage now, it’s urgent.” Harry said.

“What is it?” Kyle asked.

“Someone is threatening to unleash some sort of weapon in the city that will grant everyone metahuman powers. Get over here and I’ll fill you in. Hurry Kyle, we don’t have much time.” Harry said. He was uncharacteristically shaken by whatever this threat was.

“Great, some terrorist threatening the city with some sort of weapon…must be Thursday.” Kyle said under his breath has he headed off toward The Garage.
I've got a post that's just about ready to go up, I'm just waiting for clarification on something before posting.
I've got some catching up to do. But with the holiday and everything I'm a bit pressed for time. Might have something up today, but I'm not sure
Finally a new Grand Admiral post.

Grand Admiral Sayall stood on the bridge of the Firebrand looking out the transparisteel window at his fleet that had amassed over the snowy world of Toola. The meeting with the Imperial Admiralty had gone better than even he had expected, and the entire Admiralty was on board with his plan to retake the galaxy from the Empire’s sworn enemy, the treasonous Republic.

“Sir, we are ready to make the jump to hyperspace on your order.” Captain Darklighter said as she stepped beside him.

“For generations our people have been relegated to the wastelands of the unknown regions while our enemies, the very beings who sent us into exile took our worlds. They took our homes while we were left to rot.” Sayall said without looking away from the viewport.

“I’m well aware of what we’ve gone through at the hands of the Republic, Sir.” She said cautiously, not wanting to earn her superior’s scorn.

“Our history. Yes.” Sayall said with a chuckle. “It was a great injustice, what befell the Empire, forcing us from the core, from the civilized galaxy. We have suffered greatly at the hands of the Republic.” Sayall spat the name of his sworn enemy with disdain.

Sayall and Captain Darklighter stood quietly for several beats before Sayall finally turned to face the captain.

“But we have quite the opportunity before us. According to my source within the Republic, several systems are on the verge of breaking away from the control of the Republic, because they feel that it represents their interests any longer, nor can it offer them sufficient protection.” Sayall told her.

“I understand, Sir.” Darklighter said.

“In fact, according to my source, at this very moment the Republic is sending an envoy to the Rodians to dissuade them of this opinion. This is why we are going to go there ourselves to show these systems just how correct their assessments are. We will go to Rodia, eliminate the envoy and take the planet ourselves, and thus announce our return to the galaxy. Then system after system will return to the Empire, and the Republic will be no more. Very soon, my dear Captain, a great injustice will be undone, and the Empire will make those who wronged us pay for their transgressions.” Sayall said with certainty. “Captain, you may prepare for the jump.”

“Yes sir.” Captain Darklighter said. “For the Empire.” She finished as she turned to walk away.

“For the Empire.” Sayall said in agreement, watching as the stars began to stretch into lines as the Firebrand and the rest of the fleet made the jump into hyperspace.
